Hey there, this is DomZ Ninja with my 17th FAQ. The FAQ/Walkthrough is for
the newest Metroid game, Metroid Prime: Hunters. I remember when I got my DS
combo that came with the demo for this game. I felt that this game was so
incredible simply for having to use the touch screen in a USEFUL way. Not
only that, but using the touch screen to aim on a FPS is just so incredibly
genius. Frankly, I wasn't too good at the demo for that one reason, but I
still thought that it was an awesome demo.

I finally picked it up and I still stay true to my word. Despite this game
being built like the Halo series - solely based around multiplayer - I still
think Metroid Prime: Hunters is fantastic. The incorporation of rival bounty
hunters is not the most genuine of ideas, but it's so brilliant once put
together. Not only do you fight these bounty hunters, but you can be them in
multiplayer. The multiplayer is great on its own, but the addition of Wi-Fi
makes Metroid Prime: Hunters an incredible game. While the Story Mode isn't
at its best, I still feel that this game is a gem and should be picked up by
any and all Metroid fans.

  |o | SAMUS ARAN | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

As an agent of the Galactic Federation, Samus Aran is known throughout the
galaxy for her heroic effors at vanquishing Space Pirates and eradicating the
Metroid scourge. Samus is unique among the bounty hunters in that she has no
interest in claiming the Alimbic power for herself. Her mission objective is
threefold: discover the meaning behind the message, secure the "ultimate
power" for the Galactic Federation or, failing that, do whatever necessary to
ensure that it does not fall into enemy hands.

Samus is equipped with her trademark arsenal: a versatile Power Beam, a
powerful Missile Launcher, and an unlimited suply of Morph Ball Bombs. In
Adventure Mode, this is only the beginning - she can also find and equip
weapons her rivals use.

Morph Ball - Samus ban transform into a small Morph Ball that can move at
high speeds through the tightest of openings. It can also drop
small bursts of volatile energy, which explode to damage foes
              or propel Samus upward.

Power Beam - The Power Beam may not pack as much punch as other weapons,
but it has an unlimited supply of ammo and can be charged up
to fire powerful energy blasts. As Samus finds new weapons, the
Arm Cannon can adapt to incorporate their functionality.

Missile Launcher - The capacity of the Missile Launcher is quite limited at
first, but can be expanded as your quest proceeds. The
explosive-tipped rockets it fires can destroy sturdy
                    objects and armored bioforms alike.

  |o | KANDEN | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Kanden was designed to be the ultimate soldier, powerful in form and
unfettered by emotion. But a flaw in the mental-encoding process scrambled
his mind, leaving him with the ferocity of an animal but only a tenuous grasp
on sanity. Kanden managed to escape from the research lab alive, but those
who created him weren't so lucky. They were only the first of Kanden's many
victims. Relentless, remorseless, and prssessing an incredible talent for
tracking and killing prey, Kanden soon found his calling as a bounty hunter.
Though he is fairly new to that line or work, he has already earned a
reputation as one of the most feared and respected hunters in the galaxy. He
knows he won't be the only hunter lured to the Alimbi Cluster by the promise
of ultimate power, and he relishes the opportunity to prove his superiority.

Stinglarva - Kanden was given a massive dose of DNA from predatory insects.
This has bestowed him with the ability to transform into a
Stinglarva, one of the galaxy's quickest and deadliest
arthropods. Its segmented tail lashes out at its target and
explodes on contact; the Stinglarva's tail then regenerates, but
its target is rarely so lucky.

Volt Driver - Kanden wasn't the only creation of the Enoema Living Weapons
project. Like the bounty hunter who wields it, the Volt Driver
incorporates DNA from several different creatures that
specialize in surviving hostile environments. Its hard
exoskeleton protects a gelatinous body that is capable of
transforming energy from a planet's magnetic field into waves
of high-voltage electricity. The Volt Driver can then discharge
that energy as high-velocity energy blasts.

  |o | SPIRE | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Spire is the last known Diamond, a race of beings whose bodies are composed
entirely of rock. Spier has no idea what has become of the rest of his kind,
and has chosen the life of a bounty hunter for the opportunities it provides
him to travel the galaxy and seek information about their fate. He is as
happy to apprehend felons as he is to commit crimes himself - whatever brings
him closer to the answers he seeks. Spire is interested in the mysterious
fate of the Alimbics as well as their promised power source. Perhaps solving
the riddle of the lost Alimbic race will get him one step closer to solving
the riddle of his own.

Dialanche - Spire is capable of compacting himself into a dense boulder that
can roll as high speeds. When threatened in this form, he can
extend two swordlike limbs to strike at his foes.

Magmaul - The Magmaul's hydrogen core burns at temperatures in the thousands
of degrees, allowing it to expel deadly blobs of superheated magma.
Spire first found this weapon on his homeworld of Mondreus, where
the Diamond people used it in combat for generations.

  |o | WEAVEL | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Weavel and Samus have met once before - when Weavel was a Space Pirate
general defending the pirate base Brinstar from the Galactic Federation.
Samus won that battle and left Weavel for dead, but although his body was
destroyed, his brain and spinal cord remained intact.

Weavel was rebuilt as a cyborg by his Space Pirate cohorts and given an
experimental Power Suit that perfectly meshed with his cybernetics-enhanced
frame. With that suit, he regained much more than his previous strength and
mobility, and quickly vaulted to the top ranks of the Space Pirate assassin
force. Ruthless and efficient, Weavel delighted in doing the dirty jobs that
no normal pirate could survive. Now Weavel has left his post to visit the
Alimbic Cluster in search of the secret to the ultimate power. It is unclear
whether he intends to deliver it to the Space Pirates or keep it for himself.

Halfturret - Weavel's entire lower body is a mechanical construct, and he is
capable of detaching it so it can serve as an automated turret
while his upper body roams the battlefield to flush out enemies.

Battlehammer - The Battlehammer is a tried and true weapon that has been a
favorite of Space Pirates for half a century. Mechanically it
is crude, but seasoned warriors who know how to handle a
Battlehammer swear by its power. It uses a miniature nuclear
engine to propel heavy projectiles in an arc.

  |o | NOXUS | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

The Vhozon race makes its home in the icy outer rim of the galaxy, where it
wages constant war on the forces of chaos and evil. Noxus follows his race's
strict moral and spiritual code, and has become a bounty hunter to administer
justice to felons and sinners throughout the galaxy. Though the Vhozon and
the Galactic Federation share a strong belief in justice, they define the
word very differently. The Vhozon are absolutely merciless to those who
violate their strict rules of morality, and their methods have left them at
odds with the galaxy's other civilized societies. When Noxus heard the
telepathic communique, he did not hesitate to set a course for the Alimbic
Cluster. He is determined not to allow the ultimate power to fall into the
hands of a heretic.

Vhoscythe - The Vhozon homeworld is as harsh and unforgiving as the Vhozon
themselves. To keep warm in freezing temperatures, the Vhozon
create friction by spinning at incredible speeds.Noxus has become
adept at using his spinning form as both a means of escape and a
             weapon.

Judicator - The Judicator is a powerful weapon given to acolytes who reach
the fifth level of Vhozon Codex training. it can literally
shatter the unworth by blasting them with streams of energy that
has been supercooled to nearly absolute zero.

   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

The Kriken are a widely despised race whose thirst for conquest is nearly
insatiable. At a certain age, young Kriken like Trace are exiled from their
homes and are expected not to return until they have found a planet worthy of
invation by the Kriken war host. Trace is currently engaged in this rite of
passage, and busies himself as a bounty hunter while seeking a suitable
planet for his race to consume. Aquiring a source of ultimate power would
surely make Trace a hero to his people. And even if he fails to claim it, the
planets of the Alimbic Cluster may be worth candidates for a Kriken invasion.

Triskelion - The Kriken's advanced military capability is on full display in
Trace's Triskelion form. Stealth technology can make the
Triskelion almost completely invisible, and its powerful lunge
attack allows Trace to catch his foes off guard.

Imperialist - Trace's weapon of choice is the Imperialist, a long-rang rifle
designed for sniping. It fires a thin, powerful laser that
causes no recoil and makes little noise, but the length of the
beam can betray the shooter's location. Trace becomes invisible
while standing still with it equipped.

  |o | SYLUX | o|
   ?? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Sylux was already in pursuit of Samus Aran when the Alimbic transmission was
broadcast. For reasons no one knows, Sylux has long nursed an intense hatred
of the Galactic Federation, its member planets, and most of all, its star
bounty hunter, Samus. Sylux may well be Samus's equal - resourceful,
efficient, and infinitely patient. The mysterious hunter has been tracking
samus secretly for days, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
Sylux's primary target is Samus herself, but the secret of ultimate power
would be of great help against her. In fact, it just might be powerful enough
to destroy the entire Galactic Federation...

Lockjaw - The Lockjaw form has been under secret development by the Galactic
Federation for years. It allows a user to transform into two sharp
beams that spin around an energy core. It is unclear how a Galactic
Federation prototype weapon ended up in Sylux's possession.

Shock Coil - The Shock Coil emits high-density neutrons to blast close-range
targets with continuous waves of concussive force. This
prototype is still under development and remains somewhat
unstable. Like the Lockjaw technology, Sylux's Shock Coil
disappeared from the Galactic Federation laboratory under
              mysterious circumstances.

CELESTIAL GATEWAY
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Equipment: Hunter Gunship
               Object: Celestial Archives
               Object: Portal
               Object: Alimbic Prophecy 01
               Object: Green Force Field
               Object: Door
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

As you land, test out your controls and everything. As you get a feel for
everything, scan your ship. To scan, press and hold the button on the bottom
of the touch screen. Scan everything in the room. In order to get the Green
Force Field, turn into a Morph Ball (touch the Morph Ball button on the touch
screen) and roll under your ship and scan it. If you ever want to heal or
save, you can do so by entering your ship.

Once everything is scanned and you're ready to move out, shoot the door by
pressing L and exit the room. Proceed through the hallway and go through the
next door.

HELM ROOM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Psycho Bit v1.0
               Object: Synergy Processor
               Object: Synergy Drive
               Object: Port Helm
               Object: Starboard Helm
               Object: Sealed Door
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

The large part of the Helm Room is free of enemies. Take some time to explore
with your Scan Visor and scan everything. Most of the new logbook scans are
found on the various machinery and computers. When you reach the door at the
end of the room, it will be locked. Scan the switch next to the door to
unlock it. Open the door and walk through the passage to the second portion
of the room.

As you enter, you will be locked inside as several flying cyborgs ambush you.
Scan them to learn that they are Psycho Bit v1.0s. They are easy to defeat
and don't deal a lot of damage to you. If you're like me, then battling while
using the touch screen to aim is a hell of a pain. Get used to the controls
while fighting the Psycho Bits and shoot them with your Power Beam. Try to
sidestep their laser beam fire. Once they are all defeated, the exit will
unlock. Go through the unlocked door up on the ramp and head through the hall.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
MEDITATION ROOM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Petrasyl
               Equipment: Small Missile Pack
               Equipment: Small Energy
               Equipment: Medium Energy
               Object: Synergy Strut
               Object: Tetra Trade Map
               Object: Brown Blast Shield
               Object: Alimbic Panel
               Object: Navigational Chart
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

As you proceed through the corridors, you will find the place to be littered
with crates. Hold down L to create a Charge Beam and let go to destroy the
crate. Scan the various types of energy found inside. You can also use your
Charge Beam to pull any pickups closer to you (good for pickups that are in
hard to reach places). Clear the room of crates and head to the main part of
the room.

As you enter the large room, you will most likely spot a creature that
resembles a Metroid. Don't worry, it's harmless. Scan the Petrasyl and
destroy it. Scan and collect the small missile pack that it drops, then aim
towards the door. Scan the door to find out that you need to use a different
weapon to open it. Hit the missile icon on the touch screen to switch to your
Missile Launcher. Aim at the door and fire to break the lock and open it.
After scanning the rest of the items in the room, continue through.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
DATA SHRINE 01
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Lesser Ithrak
               Object: Energy Tank
               Object: Science Hub
               Object: Shield Key
               Object: Artifact Shield
               Object: Alimbic Artifacts
               Object: Cartogragh Artifact
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

The right side of the passage is a dead end, so take a left. Destroy the
Psycho Bits and as you approach the silver door, your Gunship will send you a
message. According to it, an intruder ship has landed at the Celestial
Archives. Anyways, open the silver door to enter a large room. Scan
everything here, including the large crystalline object in the center. Once
you do, a crapload of Psycho Bits will invade the room. I mean like, around
25. Defeat them ALL to make a shield key appear. Scan it, then collect it to
unlock the crystal in the center of the room. Scan the Alimbic Artifact in
the middle of the crystal, then grab it.

Exit the room through the door across from where you came in. Head left and
destroy the Psycho Bits. Once you see the small tunnel, turn into a Morph
Ball and roll through the tunnel. Continue right past the Psycho Bits once
you emerge and enter the next tunnel. You'll find an [ENERGY TANK] at the
dead end. You can't scan it, but the logbook info appears after collecting
it. Exit the second tunnel and shoot the Psycho Bits. Jump on the platform
above the first tunnel.

Go down the hallway and when you reach a door, a somewhat large monster will
fall from the ceiling. This is a Lesser Ithrak, and it's pretty nasty. Scan
it and dodge when it lunges at you. Put your missiles to work and use them to
defeat it quickly. With the Lesser Ithrak dead, the door will unlock, letting
you proceed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
FAN ROOM ALPHA
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Object: Cooling Fans
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

There's not much to do here. Scan the large cooling fans attached to the
central pillar. Simply put your jumping skills to the test and jump up the
series of cooling fans. Once at the top, open the door and go on through.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
DATA SHRINE 02
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Kanden
               Equipment: Missile Expansion
               Object: Green Blast Shield
               Object: Alimbic Joint
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Similar to the previous data room, go to the right and continue down the
hall. You will wind up meeting with a mysterious creature, Kanden. Keep your
distance and scan him before he flees. (you can scan him a tad later if you
can't here) He will slither through a small tunnel. Chase him as a Morph Ball
through the tunnels.

Well, you lost Kanden. Bah, we'll find him a little later. Once out of the
tunnel, kill the Psycho Bits and scan the Alimbic Joint. (the metal beam
above you) Defeat the rest of the enemies here and roll through the tunnel at
the end. You will reach a dead end with a [MISSILE EXPANSION] at the end.
Like the Energy Tank, the logbook info will be recorded since you can't scan
it. Exit the tunnel and jump on top of the platform above the previous
tunnel. Open the door at the end and go through.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
FAN ROOM BETA
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Object: Tetra Galaxy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Scan the window for the Tetra Galaxy info, then defeat the Petrasyls. They
drop handy pickups, so make sure to destroy them all. Jump up the fan blades
until you reach the door at the top, then head inside.

DATA SHRINE 03
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Stinglarva
               Bioform: Alimbic Turrett v1.0
               Equipment: Large Missile Pack
               Object: Anthropological Hub
               Object: Attameter Artifact
               Object: Political Hub
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Shoot the crates for some valuable pickups, then go down the hall and open
the silver door. Once you enter the main room, Kanden will ambush you.

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | The battle with Kanden is your easiest yet, considering this is | o|
  |o | your first boss battle. Kanden will be in his Stinglarva form | o|
  |o | at the start of the fight. Scan it and try to track it down as | o|
  |o | it quickly slithers around the room. It will drop bombs on the | o|
  |o | ground that detonate soon after, so avoid them by jumping over | o|
  |o | them. The Stinglarva is really quick, and I had a good time | o|
  |o | tracking it down by staying on the central ledge and shooting | o|
  |o | it from there. After a little while of crawling around, Kanden | o|
  |o | will turn back into its humanoid form. Now is the time to scan | o|
  |o | Kanden if you didn't previously. | o|
  |o | | o|
  |o | When Kanden is in his normal form, he will spend most of the | o|
  |o | time on the central platforms. He shoots you from up there, but | o|
  |o | his shots don't hurt that much. Kanden will also run to each | o|
  |o | side of the room and attack, so keep following him and shoot | o|
  |o | him with your Missile Launcher. Kanden is at his most dangerous | o|
  |o | when he uses charged shots of his gun. A charged shot will | o|
  |o | scatter your circuits and mess up your vision. Kanden turns to | o|
  |o | his Stinglarva form after a little bit and repeats the cycle. | o|
  |o | Use the Power Beam on the Stinglarva and your Missile Launcher | o|
  |o | on Kanden's human form. The battle is overall pretty easy. Once | o|
  |o | Kanden is defeated, he will drop a Shield Key. | o|
  |o | | o|
   ?? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Grab the Shield Key and jump on the central platform. Open the small door
next to the two crystals and roll through. Use the key on the crystal and
grab the Alimbic Artifact. Exit the small room and go through the silver door
in the main portion of the room. In the hallway, scan one of the two Alimbic
Turret v1.0s and destroy them. With them out of the way, go through the door.

SYNERGY CORE

Logbook Scan - Object: Portal
               Object: Lift Controls
               Object: Yellow Force Field
               Object: Stronghold Portal
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Scan the switch near the entrance. A portal will appear in the entrance of
the room. First off, scan it. If you wish to return to your ship (to heal,
save, or do other crap), then step in the portal. If not, jump up the
platforms and head through the door at the end.

In here, scan all four power conduits. The door is locked, and no weapon can
open it. To open the door, shoot all four power conduits to unlock the door.
The crystal in the middle of the room will also deactivate. Grab the Binary
Subscripture Artifact, then go through the door. Enter the large portal as
you approach the room to be transported to another chamber.

Logbook Scan - Bioform: Cretaphid v1

               Lore: Stronghold Void
               Lore: Biodefense Chamber A
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Switch to your Scan visor and scan the Stronghold Void Lore at the start of
the room. Walk across the bridge and shoot open the two large doors. As you
enter the dead end, a battle will start.

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | The battle is a lot more strategic than the hunter battle with | o|
  |o | Kanden. (although nowhere near being difficult to figure out) | o|
  |o | Scan the giant pillar to gain Cretaphid v1's data. As the large | o|
  |o | pillar spins, it will shoot out three beams of fire. Avoid the | o|
  |o | beams as they turn as well as go up and down. There are many | o|
  |o | blue eyes on the pillar. As it rotates, shoot each eye several | o|
  |o | times to close it. With all of the eyes closed, a crystal will | o|
  |o | rise from the top of the pillar. Shoot at the crystal using | o|
  |o | missiles or charged shots until it retreats in the pillar. | o|
  |o | | o|
  |o | The eyes will reopen and the process of the battle will start | o|
  |o | over. Simply repeat the strategy of closing the eyes and then | o|
  |o | damaging the crystal over and over again. The blue eyes will | o|
  |o | sometimes drop pickups, such as energy or missiles. If you run | o|
  |o | out of missiles on the crystal, simply switch to your Power | o|
  |o | Beam. It is a tedious fight, but you should not get hurt that | o|
  |o | much. You will defeat Cretaphid v1 once you deplete its health. | o|
  |o | | o|
   ?? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

With Cretaphid v1 out of the way, pick up the health and observe the large
crystal in the middle of the arena. This is an Octolith, a legerndary crystal
that may have something to do with the "ultimate power". Scan it and take it
afterwards, then exit the room. As you approach the bridge, your Gunship will
send you another message telling you to escape in 8 minutes. Run across the
bridge and enter the portal.

The portal leading to your Gunship is down, so we must take the long route.
Continue through all of the previous rooms. Defeat all of the enemies found,
for they will most likely unlock the various doors in your way.

HELM ROOM
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Guardian
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

When you enter the Helm Room, you will be ambushed by two or three new
enemies: Guardians. They are very tough and take a lot of damage, as well as
dish out a lot of it as well. They are quick, but hunt them down and destroy
them using missiles or charged shots. With the Guardians defeated, exit to
the Celestial Gateway.

Once there, enter your ship to stop the timer. Choose to leave the planet to
exit the Celestial Archives.

               Lore: Battle Sarcophagus
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

This is quite a large area with a lot of stuff to scan. Destroy the Zoomers
and scan the Flow Regulator. Scan the Magma Vent, then jump up to the upper
floor. Here, another rival bounty hunter will attack. The massive rock
monster, Spire, will shoot at you from afar. He is very high up on a
building, but you can still scan him. Scan 'em, then shoot him several times
with your Power Beam. After a couple shots hit him, Spire will run away.

Scan the rest of the crap you can at the center of the room. Go up the ramp
and pass the shielded artifact. Jump on the floating platforms, then check a
building. There is an opening in the side of one; jump inside and collect the
[MISSILE EXPANSION] waiting for you.

Proceed up the ramp across from Spire's previous location. Scan the Blastcap,
then shoot it from afar. It will release poisonous gas when destroyed, so
wait until it evaporates before continuing. Shoot open the silver door and go
through.

ELDER PASSAGE
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o
Logbook Scan - Bioform: Dialanche
               Bioform: Voldrum
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Continue past the shielded artifact and into the small room. You will be
locked inside, and three generators will appear. The generators are the
glowing blue things on the wall and the floor. Destroy them for they release
endless waves of enemies. Voldrums will appear out of the generators. Scan
one, then ignore them and focus on the generators. Destroy all three, then
wipe out the surviving enemies.

After you clear the room, Spire will appear again. This time, he is above you
peeking out from a small hole. Aim and shoot him from below (scan him if you
didn't before). After several shots, Spire will drop to your level and roll
into a ball. Scan his Dialanche form before attacking. He will quickly spin
around and continously roll around the room into you. His Dialanche form is
hard to target, so use Power Beams as opposed to wasting missiles. Spire is
pretty hard, but he will flee after half of his health is depleted.

After the fight, scan the switch on the wall to make the Shield Key appear.
Grab it, then take the Attameter Artifact. Afterwards, exit the room back to
High Ground.

Take your newly found Shield Key and go up the ramp. Grab the Binary

jump across the platforms that just descended. Jump across to the door and

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | Basically, Slench is a giant eye attached to the back wall by | o|
  |o | a set of tentacles. Scan Slench 1A, then target the tentacles. | o|
  |o | Three or four shots of the Power Beam will make them retract. | o|
  |o | Blast all three and once they are all retracted, the eye will | o|
  |o | be released. You must be quick though, because the tentacles | o|
  |o | will come back out over time and you'll have to shoot at them | o|
  |o | again. It can be tricky sometimes. While you're doing this, | o|
  |o | Slench 1A will be firing green energy balls at you. They are | o|
  |o | pretty slow and even drop pickups, so target and destroy some. | o|
  |o | | o|
  |o | Once the eye has been removed from the wall, scan the floating | o|
  |o | eye for the Slench 1B data. Now the battle is a bit harder, for | o|
  |o | the eyeball will constantly fly around the room. Target the | o|
  |o | middle of the eye (the pupil) with your missiles. After Slench | o|
  |o | 1A sustains a good amount of damage, it will attack itself to | o|
  |o | to the wall again. Now you will have to repeat the process over | o|
  |o | again. Repeat the process as many times needed until you kill | o|
  |o | Slench 1A off. | o|

After the battle with Slench 1A, scan the wall for a Lore and grab the health

Your Gunship will send you another message. Oh phooey; we must escape in four

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | This battle is still under a time limit, so you must hurry in | o|
  |o | defeating Weavel. Scan Weavel in his humanoid form first, then | o|
  |o | start with the offensive attack. You will start off fighting | o|
  |o | in a square room with nowhere to hide. Dodge his Battlehammer | o|
  |o | blasts and fire off some of your own shots. The Power Beam is a | o|
  |o | fine substitute if you used all of your missiles in the last | o|
  |o | boss battle. Weavel will turn into his other form: Halfturret. | o|
  |o | Weavel will detach from his lower body and his torso scurries | o|
  |o | around shooting you. Scan the turret for the Halfturret info | o|
  |o | and target that part. It's best to target his lower body since | o|
  |o | the Halfturret doesn't move. Ignore Weavel's torso and shoot at | o|
  |o | his lower body with charged shots. | o|
  |o | | o|
  |o | Weavel will most likely retreat into another room. Follow him | o|
  |o | into a semi-large sand-filled room. There are some pillars to | o|
  |o | use as cover if you'd like to. Destroy the Zoomers roaming on | o|
  |o | the ground for pickups and continue to attack Weavel. It won't | o|
  |o | be long before Weavel is defeated for good. After you finish | o|
  |o | off Weavel, he will become available in multiplayer. | o|
  |o | | o|
   ?? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

I'm sure the battle with Weavel wasted quite a bit of time. Nevertheless, you

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------o

Once in the large Morph Ball section, use Morph Ball Bombs to jump up the
platforms, then roll around to the other side. Ignore the passage for now and
drop down. You most likely noticed the Missile Expansion floating in the air.
You must do a Double Morph Ball jump to get it. Drop a bomb, then drop one
more once it flashes. Once the bomb explodes and you jump, drop another one
at the peak of your jump. When you land, the second one will detonate and the
third one in the air will detonate when you reach it. You'll be able to grab
the [MISSILE EXPANSION] by doing so.

Roll to the left past the moving platform and use the jump pads to launch to
the top part of the room. Roll through the tube and turn back to normal once
you exit. Scan all four Spectral Locks around the room and the Cortex
Chamber. Make sure you're not in the middle of the room after scanning the
last lock. Your first new weapon, the Battlehammer, will appear in the center
of the room. Scan it and walk through it to get this powerful new gun. Select
the Battlehammer using the touch screen, then blast the green force field
behind you. Roll back to the Cortex CPU. Go back to where the Missile
Expansion was and roll through the passage (it's facing away from you).

Now we are on the top floor of the Compression Chamber. Use the Battlehammer
to open the far door and destroy the Psycho Bit generators and turrets. Once
the room is cleared, scan the two switches to open the force field below.

After the force fields are out of the way, return to the Cortex CPU and roll
to the left. Now you're on the lower level of the Compression Chamber. Scan
and destroy the Psycho Bit v4.0s and the generators that release them. Once
the room is clear, scan the [UA EXPANSION] in the middle of the room (inside
the column) and roll through to get it. Now roll through the hole and destroy
the Lesser Ithrak that waits inside. Roll through the tunnel behind where the
force field was. Step onto the jump pad to be launched into the Binary
Subscripture Artifact.

With the artifact in hand, drop down to the lower floor. You will find a
Guardian here, defeat it with the Battlehammer. Return to the Cortex CPU and

Once it's in the air, aim for the bottom of its foot and blast it with your

dead, an elevator will be activated. Ride it to the top of the room and scan

  |o | Lockjaw will quickly float around the perimeter of the room as | o|
  |o | he drops electric bombs. The bombs will create large beams of | o|
  |o | electricity that spread outwards. Avoid them by running a lap | o|
  |o | around the room; by then they will have exploded. Continue to | o|
  |o | attack Lockjaw with charged shots until he turns back into | o|
  |o | Sylux again. Keep jumping with Sylux and trying your best to | o|
  |o | dodge his attacks. After Sylux has lost around half of his | o|

  |o | | o|
  |o | The battle is a lot tougher in the central region of the room, | o|
  |o | mainly because Sylux's ship will join the fight and fire laser | o|
  |o | beams at you. You can't hurt the ship, so ignore it and focus | o|
  |o | all of your attacks on Sylux. He will continue to be annoying | o|
  |o | and jump all over the place. Luckily, there are more crates in | o|
  |o | the corners which you can use to get ammo and health. Continue | o|
  |o | to dodge Sylux's attacks and attack him with your Power Beam | o|
  |o | until he drops the last Shield Key. Now you have unlocked Sylux | o|
  |o | to use in multiplayer. Good deal, eh? | o|

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | Surprisingly, this Cretaphid is a lot tougher than the previous | o|
  |o | one back in the Celestial Archives. As opposed to shooting out | o|
  |o | fire beams, Cretaphid v2 will now release homing green energy | o|
  |o | balls at Samus. They will follow you until you're hit with them | o|
  |o | or destroyed. Shoot them with your Power Beam to get rid of the | o|
  |o | nuisances. Like the previous battle with the pillar-like enemy, | o|
  |o | shoot all of the blue eyes. The eyes will switch from blue to | o|
  |o | red, and they are only destroyed when the blue ones are hit. It | o|
  |o | is tough to do with all of the green energy balls floating in | o|
  |o | the room. Focus on destroying the balls first, then when the | o|
  |o | time arises, take out the blue eyes. | o|
  |o | | o|
  |o | When all blue eyes are closed, the crystal will emerge from the | o|
  |o | top of the pillar. Dodge the beams that it fires and pummel it | o|
  |o | with missiles. When the crystal hides again, the battle starts | o|
  |o | over again. Keep repeating the process until Cretaphid v2 is | o|
  |o | destroyed. I had a lot of trouble with this battle, because the | o|
  |o | green energy balls can overwhelm you if you don't take care of | o|
  |o | them. It may take a couple of tries (it did with me), but you | o|
  |o | will defeat it eventually. | o|

   ?? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Grab the Octolith and exit the room. The timer will start, and you have three
minutes to evacuate. Sure, the portal to your Gunship is down, but the route
back to your ship is very short. Make your way through the Weapons Complex

With Noxus taken care of, Trace will back off and run away. Now you can
search the large area of Sic Transit. In order to proceed, you must find and
scan six proxy locks scattered around the area. Proxy Lock 5 is found across
from the entrance to Sic Transit (right past the ramp where Noxus liked to
hide under). You can't enter the door yet, so just scan the lock. Enter the
lit hallway next to the entrance to find Proxy Lock 6. Proceed forward until
you reach a sealed doorway. Jump up to it, then look behind you. Jump up the
series of platforms to find Proxy Lock 1 on the ceiling.

Jump across to the ledge and travel across to find a purple door. Pass it and
continue to the right. Open the door to find yourself next to a bridge. Scan
the damaged bridge, then look up on the pillar to the right. Scan Proxy Lock
2, which is on top of the pillar. Jump across the bridge, then turn around to
find Proxy Lock 3 and Proxy Lock 4. With all locks scanned, go to the right
past the bridge and continue through the icy passage. Collect the Shield Key
at the end. The Shield Key will unlock a door on the lower floor. Go through
to find the Attameter Artifact.

There is a grating past the Attameter Artifact. Luckily, it's wide enough for
the Morph Ball to fit in. Roll through the bars and onto the elevator. Ride
the elevator to the top of the shaft. Once it stops, use a bomb to boost up
to the [ENERGY TANK] above. Exit the center room and head right to find
another doorway leading to the Ice Hive.

Drop down from the walkway to the center of the room and scan Energy Router
B. Afterwards, this powers up the room, allowing you to reach another part of
the walkway. Ingore it for now, because the rest of the Energy Routers can be
scanned. Scan the rest of the Energy Routers in the Ice Hive.

After all are scanned, Barbed War Wasps will fill the room. Your main
priority are to destroy the five nests lined up on the wall. Destroy them
all, then pick off the rest of the wasps. Jump up to the walkway and follow
the newly opened passage. Scan the Door Controller Unit to open the door,
leading to the next area, and head on through.

Once in the next section of the Ice Hive, continue through while scanning
everything until you reach a dead end. Scan the switch near the wall with the
support beams on it to raise several platforms. Roll into a Morph Ball and
roll in the crumbed structure. Use bombs to reach an elevator and rise to the
top floor. Roll through the wall and carefully onto the platform. It will
take you to another platform, where you can use a bomb to propel yourself
over to the Judicator. If you happen to take too long, the platforms will
disappear and you will have to scan the switch and start over again. Make
sure to scan the Judicator before collecting it.

With your new weapon in hand, walk over to the purple force field under the
ledge where the Judicator stood. Switch weapons using the button on the upper
right corner of the touch screen. Use the new weapon to blast the force
field, letting you continue through. Walk across the ice bridge and destroy
the next force field located on a wall. Jump through to find a [UA
EXPANSION].

Turn around and enter the circular room. Destroy the turret to make a Shield
Key appear and grab it. The force field on the room's floor will disappear.
Drop through and land on the ledge to find the Cartograph Artifact. Turn
around and continue down the hallway. Destroy the plants in your way until
you reach a switch. Scan it to open a portal leading to your Gunship. Scan
the Lore behind the switch. Don't go through just yet; continue down the
hall. Walk through the passage until you find a small hole on the left wall.
Roll through using your Morph Ball to find a [MISSILE EXPANSION]. Now you're
back in the entrance to the Ice Hive. Blast the purple force field and walk
through to find a [UA EXPANSION]. Phew, that's a lot of expansions! Use the
jump pad to return to Sic Transit.

  |o | The battle against Slench 2A is more or less the same as its | o|
  |o | predecessor. The only catch is that the only weapon that can | o|
  |o | hurt Slench is the Judicator. Hopefully you have a lot of ammo | o|
  |o | for this battle. Start the fight by blasting all three of its | o|
  |o | tentacles. Three shots will destroy each tentacle. Once all of | o|
  |o | them are gone, the eyeball will detach from the wall like the | o|
  |o | previous fight. Make sure to scan both the eye and the suit on | o|

  |o | When the eye is floating around in the arena, shoot it from up | o|
  |o | close with the Judicator. Blast it several times until it | o|
  |o | reattaches to the wall. You probably won't even realize that | o|
  |o | Slench 2A shoots green energy balls at you, similar to the | o|
  |o | fight with Cretaphid v2. Shoot them for ammo and continue the | o|
  |o | battle. It's a very easy battle and should not take you long. | o|
  |o | Simple blast Slench 2A with your Judicator and repeat this | o|

  |o |?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????| o|
  |o | Well, with Noxus out of the picture, it looks like Trace has | o|
  |o | his focus entirely on you! This crafty sniper will position | o|
  |o | himself high up on a ledge (next to the door leading to the Ice | o|
  |o | Hive to be exact). Run up the ramp and use the rubble and the | o|
  |o | pillars to shield yourself from his sniper rifle. Peek out once | o|

  |o | sniper rifle takes a good chunk out of your health, so always | o|
  |o | stay behind the pillar and don't get too cocky. With that said, | o|
  |o | I suggest you should play the safe way despite the time limit. | o|

  |o | Once Trace is on the ground, he'll transform into his alt form, | o|
  |o | the Triskeleton. The Triskeleton is very quick and will start | o|
  |o | off by repeatedly ramming you. Jump and back away while hitting | o|
  |o | it with missiles. After changing back, Trace will unfortunately | o|
  |o | turn invisible. He'll stay in his Triskeleton form for most of | o|
  |o | the battle, so use the radar to track his quick movements. He | o|
  |o | is surprisingly tough to beat, but keep your missiles close and | o|
  |o | be wise (take cover in the tunnels to try and lose him and hide | o|
