*Part 1-- Introduction*

This is my second guide for Gamefaqs and MP:H. I hope this Guide will help
you become a better Trace.

*Part 2-- About Trace*

Trace is a sniper character. Like snipers in most FPS he is strong at a
distance and somewhat good at mid-range. His affinity weapon is the Imperialist
and his alt form is Triskelon. He is naturally red and is from the Kriken
Empire on a quest to take the "Ultimate power.

*Part 3-- The Weapons*

Power Beam- The basic weapon and weakest if used improperly. Of course it has
unlimited ammo but the shots can only do about 6 or so damage. When charged
however it can do 30 or so. It is alss the fastest or second fastest firing
weapon in the game. Everyone has it and eveyone can use it but those who use
it with superb skills often has a chance of killing another while collecting
powerups.

Missles- Everyone has these and everyone can use them and everyone starts with
them. They are more powerful than the Power Beam but have a slow firing rate.
They can only be replenished by picking up a missile expansion looking object
or if you're Samus then by picking up the affinity weapon orb thingy. This is
Samus' has an annoying affinity weapon. When she charges them they can slightly
home in on you and deal 50 damage or so.

Shock Coil- The most annoying weapon in the game. It will always kill anyone
who can't stop the attack. The simplest way to break the beam is to go into alt
form. Another way is to get behind a wall or turn a corner. It has a weird way
of damaging the hunters. It deals 10 damage a second and an additional 10
damage each second afterwards. So after 2 seconds it wil deal 30 damage a
second. Strange but deadly. Sylux is the one who has an affinity with this
weapon. When you lose health he will recover it 1:1. Which means if you lose
one he gains one.

Volt Driver- This is either the fastest or second fastest firing weapon in the
game. It looks like the Power Beam in terms of uncharged shots. A easy but
deadly mistake to make. This weapon is much more powerful and when charged it
deals 40 or so damage. If you are Kanden when using this weapon the shots will
cause stunning and the charged shot will home. It is really a pain when you
are hit with the charged shot because it will screw up your vision for a
couple of seconds making you unable to fight back since most of your shots
would miss. Another annoying thing that tends to happen is that a Kanden user
would hit you with a charged shot and fire alot of uncharged shots at you then
a charged one. It hurts!

Judicator- This is a weapon of ice. It's shots can bounce off walls a few times
so it can hit around the corner. The shots are cool looking beams of blue. When
charged it will shoot 3 beams at once. If they all hit the head then thats 96
damage. If you're playing as Noxus then the charge shot will change. It won't
fire 4 or 5 shots. No it will fire one sheet of ice a short distance. The ice
WILL freeze you allowing Noxus or anyone else to pummel on you with out fear
of you fighting back. It sucks to be frozen because you know they're
headshotting you. A thing that really makes me mad is after they freeze you
you die and see this. "So and so headshotted you. (Imperialist)"

Magmaul- This weapon can bounce off walls like the Judicator but it doesn't
stay at the same hight like the Judicator. It has an annoying arc to deal with.
Not only it is hard to aim but you can also hurt yourself with it. When charged
it will explode on contact. Spire's affinity belongs with this weapon. He can
charge it so if you get hit you will burn. The total damage with the burning
will total 70+.

Battle Hammer- This weapon, considered by most people, SUCKS! They claim it has
no real use. They claim that it is a waste. They are WRONG! This weapon isn't
supposed to deal massive damage. It is supposed to be used as a chaser. When
you deal massive damage to someone and they start running you're supposed to
chase them using this weapon non-stop to try and finish them off. It is good
at doing so because it is a fast-firing weapon. When used by Weavel however,
It has a BIG splash radius. Biggest in the game IMO. So don't underestimate
the power of the Battle Hammer.

*Part 4-- About the Imperialist*

The Imperialist is Trace's affinity weapon. It is a sniper rifle and it can
kick ass. It doesn't fire where the crosshairs meet but one dot down or right
or left depending on right or left mode. Double tapping the icon or pressing
"R" will activate the zoom feature. It will automatically zoom in again if an
enemy is in sight or behind a rock/wall. While standing still wielding this
weapon Trace will become cloaked.

*Part 5-- About Triskelon*

Triskelon is Trace's alt form. It is really fast and deadly. It can only attack
in a straight line but it does 50 damage! It?s a real pain in the ass fighting
against and while not in motion it becomes cloaked.

*Part 6-- Damage Chart*

Triskelon- 50 damage per dash

Imperialist- Body shot 36
             Head shot 72

Imperialist(zoomed)- Body shot 100
                     Head shot 199

*Part 7-- MORTAL KOMBAT!!!*

While fighting with Trace there are some things to remember.

1. You can get the Imperialist in every stage excluding one. Be the first to
get it and snipe/fight with it.

2. The Imperialist has a slow fire rate so you should be cautious of using it
in a fire fight. I recommend firing it and switching to the powerbeam or
missile.

3. When you shoot the Imperialist the enemy can trace (no pun intended) the
shot back to your location so don't snipe from the same place many times or
you will be found.

4. Samus' homing missiles will seek you out so be cautious.

5. Triskelon's dash attack might cause you to fall off the edge of some stages.

6. When cloaked you can still be faintly seen

7. If burned by the Magmaul/froze by Judicator your location will be revealed
by either fire or ice.

8. If an opponent is frozen snipe them for an easy kill.

9. Trace seems to be killed easily so he's not so good in close combat.

10. Beware of being sniped by other Traces.

11. Any homing weapon (Shock Coil, Volt Driver, Samus' Super Missiles) will
find you.

12. The element of surprise is your friend.

13. Snipe and run.

14. Beware Sylux's Lockjaw.

15. Steal a kill every now and then.

16. Alt spamming is very bad.

*Part 8-- How to snipe*

The most important part of being Trace is sniping effectively. Even in the most
profound circumstances the Imperialist could mean the difference between 1st
and 2nd. All you have to do is remember a few things.

a) Stay on higher ground

b) When you are sniping know all areas where you could be ambushed.

c) Not everyone can get perfect headshots

d) Alts can't be headshotted

e) Headshots are OHKOs

f) Spire has a small head so headshots might prove difficult.

And most important. Snipe or be sniped.

*Part 9-- Sniping spots*

instead, jump back into the tunnel, and then jump out and up and you should be
on top of the stage.

Council Chamber: no info

*Part 10-- Killing Others*

Samus...
She is the average hunter. ?She is weak to similar forms, so when she's in
Biped, you should use your Biped to fight her as well, as your alt. form may
not be as effective as desired. If you start blasting her, she'll probably
blast you with missiles or turn into morph ball, where she has the advantage,
with her boosting capabilities and her bombs. Enter your alt. form and get as
close as you can, so the bombs have less chance of hitting, and then use your
attack back on her. She's easy to score headshots on, as you can easily tell
where her head is compared to the rest of her body.

Spire...
How do you beat this stony giant? Don't let him hit you with the Magmaul! If
you get hit, you're in trouble. He has an annoying ability to climb up walls
so he can get higher than you. All you have to do is get him right in the head
and it's all over. His Magmaul is a pain to deal with cause it has an arc and
it bounces so it can hit you if your behind a wall. If your burning 'cause of
the Magmaul try o find health cause it will take away almost 70 damage total.

Kanden...
Most Kanden users are alt spamming noobs. But wormers aren't as hard to take
care of as you think. This shouldn't be a problem because you will be on higher
ground and the butt bombs can't go all that far. All of them have a weakness
though "annoy to Snipe", is one of the best techniques. It's not common, but
it's a great way to score that one kill you need to get the match out of a tie.
When they're trying to worm you, just jump to a higher spot that's inaccessible
out of Biped form, and blast away with the power beam. If they aren't stupid,
they'll try and get out of Alt. form to shoot you back. Lock and load,
it's time to sneak attack the fool. Zoom in, let him shoot you a bit if you
must, then OHKO him. Just keep shooting at him and hope he dies. Then when he
spawns try to get him again.

Sylux...
His Shock coil can be a hassle because it will home onto you even if you're
invisible. Also Lockjaw can tribomb you easily if you're not paying attention.
If Sylux is after you try to get a head shot before he finds you that way he
can't get you with that damned Shock Coil. Always remember if you do get zapped
by it than you should morph and dash away. When fighting a high level Noxus
user, it could take everything you've learned to take him down.

Noxus...

The Affinity-Super-Kill of Noxus' is by far the most deadly. If he does
manage to freeze you a good Noxus player could chip off 100+ life. His alt form
will do 42 damage if it hits and knock you back which will mess up your aim.
Noxus' head is a fair size, so he's not particularly weak to
sniping, but it's still fun to do.If all else fails than you could go after
him with Triskelon and hopefully kill him.

Weavel...
CURSE THAT TURRET! That's what you're thinking, right? The Weavel user is
thinking the same. That turret, if it has more health then the upper part of
Weavel, can kill. Another nice way to kill the silly fella, is sniping. I
know you're thinking anyone can be killed by sniping easily, but look at that
head! It's huge! Load up a powerful weapon, because Weavel can't take it for
long. Missiles work well, as they also cause splash damage. If he goes into
his alt form go after the turret part so that Weavel will withdraw and go
back into biped when at low life. The turret will giveaway your location if
you are near by and that?s bad cause the top half will chop you up with the
slice and dice attack. It is really just a matter of causing Weavel to go back
into biped and sniping him.

Trace... Beware other Traces. They will snipe you if you don't beat them first.
The Triskelon spammers will try constantly to kill you so you should be above
them so they can't reach you. All Traces when cloaked will have a faint outline
which, if you're skilled, could headshot at. Trace will beat less skilled
Traces no matter what.

*Part 11-- Tips for being a better Trace*

Triskelon

It should be your primary means of traveling.

You should not battle them with your alt if they are alt spamming.

Only attack them with your alt when they are running around in biped form.

Those with any sort of skill learn how not to depend on Trace's alt form.

Trace(biped)

You are slightly more visible when you move around while aiming than if you
don't move anything at all. This hint is important to remember while playing
other Trace players.

Sometimes you may need to fight up close. If you have good aim the imperialist
can be a great close range weapon. Make you're not zoomed in (obvious).

Always try to be on higher ground.

Learn to snipe from long range, medium range, and short range.

*Part 12-- FAQS*

What makes Trace so good?
The fact that he is the main sniper in this game with the ability to cloak.

Who is your favorite character?
Spire with Trace as a second

Why did you decide to make a Trace guide?
Lack of character FAQs.

How many stars are you?
What does that have to do with this? Anyway 2 almost 3.

Trace ROX!!!
I kinda already somewhat knew that...
