In-game reset:Press Start + Select + B + A during game play.
Deleted saved games:
Hold L + Right + Select when turning on the Game Boy Advance.
Advance campaign mode:
Successfully complete campaign mode. Enter the battle maps screen and buy the "Advance Campaign" item for one coin. Hold Select and select campaign mode to begin and advanced campaign, with a more difficult CPU opponent. Note: This also unlocks Olaf as a CO.
Field Training bonuses:
Successfully complete field training mode to unlock the "War Room", "Campaign", "Design Maps", "Stats", and "SpeciaAdvanced Mode
Hold down the Select button before entering Campaign Mode and you'll play in Advanced Mode. You'll face stronger enemy opposition, but win more coins if you complete the mission.
Open Up New Gameplay Modes:
To open up the War Room, Campaign, Design Maps, and Stats options on the main menu, you must first complete all missions in Field Training.
Skip field training:
If you want to skip field training and get into the war campaign, map maker or etc., instead of winning every battle in field training, just go to the last one and beat it. It'll save time, and you can always go back to play it any time on the main menu.
Special Intel:
To access the field training mission called Special Intel, first you must clear all of the other Field Training missions. When you go back to field training you'll see it in the list of missions.
Unlock CO Drake:
You must select Andy for these missions during campaign mode:
- Captain Drake
- Naval Clash
- Wings of Victory
- Battle Mystery
Once you complete the campaign, he will appear in the Battle Maps section to be purchased for 50 coins.
Unlock CO Eagle:
You must choose Sami for the following battles during the campaign:
- Captain Drake
- Naval Clash
- Wings of Victory
- Battle Mystery
At the end of the campaign, you will have a secret 'Rivals' battle that you must win.
After you completed the campaign with these requirements, Eagle will appear in the Battle Maps to be purchased for 80 coins.
Unlock CO Grit:
You must select Max for Mission 4 in Campaign mode and complete the campaign. Grit will then appear in the Battle Maps section to be purchased for 50 coins.
Unlock CO Kanbei:
You must complete the Campaign. He will appear in the Battle Maps section to be purchased for 50 coins.
Unlock CO Sonja:
Unlock and win Sonja's secret missions in the campaign (see other hints) and complete the campaign. Sonja will appear in the Battle Maps area to purchase for 60 coins.
Unlock CO Strum:
Once you have purchased all of the CO's except Nell from Battle Maps (Grit, Eagle, Drake, Kenbei, and Sonja), Strum will appear on the list and can be purchased for 100 coins.
Note - Strum can only be used in Vs. mode. You cannot play War Room battles with him as your CO.
Unlock Nell for Purchase:
To unlock Nell, get all S grades in Advance Campaign Mode and War Room Mode. Nell will then be available for purchase.
Unlock Sonja's secret battles:
You must defeat Kanbei's missions in a limited number of turns to unlock the secret Sonja battles.
You must beat:
Kanbei Arrives! in 8 or less turns
Mighty Kanbei! in 10 or less turns
Kanbei's Error? in 12 or less turns
If you beat all of these missions within the time limit, you will continue into a hidden path in the story line.
Use other CO's in multiplayer:
To use other CO's in multiplayer, you first beat campaign and then go to battle maps where you can buy them.
