Advance Wars
Advanced ModeComplete the main Campaign and buy the Advance Campaign, hold down the Select button before entering Campaign Mode and you'll start Advanced Mode. You'll face stronger enemy opposition, but you'll win more coins if you complete the missions.
Website Data Clear
If you would like to erase data, press L, Select, and right on the D-Pad immediately after turning the Gameboy Advance on. The delete data option will appear, and if you want to begin again, you can.
Gold Menu Icons
To change certain icons in the main menu screen to a flashing gold, you must complete the condition listed next to them:
Stats: Complete all 20 war room maps, regardless of rank.
Rank: Obtain the final rank, rank 1.
Records: Get both rank and stats gold, and this'll turn gold too.
Field Training: Get an A-Rank in all 14 training missions.
Campaign: Complete the Advance Campaign, regardless of rank.
War Room: Get an S-Rank in all 20 war room maps.
Battle Maps: You have to unlock and buy every CO, and buy all the maps.
Open Up New Gameplay Modes
To open up the War Room, Campaign, Design Maps, and Stats options on the main menu, you must first complete the final mission in Field Training.
Skip field training
To skip field training, just complete the last training excercise.
Special Intel
Complete all of the field training excercise's to unlock the Special Intel training excercise.
Unlock CO Drake
Complete the following missions with Andy:
Captain Drake
Naval Clash
Wings of Victory
Battle Mystery
Then purchase CO Drake from the Battle Maps section for 50 coins.
Unlock CO Eagle, and Rivals Mission
Complete the following missions with Sami:
Captain Drake
Naval Clash
Wings of Victory
Battle Mystery
Then complete The Final Battle to unlock Rivals Mission. Complete Rivals Mission to purchase CO Eagle from the Battle Maps section for 80 coins.
Unlock CO Grit
Complete Campaign mode with Max, and CO Grit will be avaliable for purchase on the Battle Maps section for 50 coins.
Unlock CO Kanbei
Complete Campaign mode and Co Kanbei will be available on the Battle Maps section.
Unlock CO Nell
Complete Advance Campaign. Nell will be available for purchasein the battle maps section for 80 war coins.
Unlock CO Sturm
Purchase Grit, Eagle, Drake, Kenbei, and Sonja from the Battle Maps section. Sturm will appear on the list and can be purchased for 100 coins.
Unlock CO Sonja, and Sonja's secret battles
Complete Kanbei's missions in a limited number of turns to unlock the secret Sonja battles. You must beat:
Kanbei Arrives! in 8 turns or less
Mighty Kanbei! in 10 turns or less
Kanbei's Error? in turns or less
If you beat all of these missions within the time limit, you will continue into a hidden path in the story line. Win Sonja's secret missions in the campaign (see other hints) and complete the campaign. Sonja will appear in the Battle Maps area to purchase for 60 coins.
