Hello, I am Nick34. Some of you may remember me as the guy who made that
Peasant's Quest Walkthrough, or those Reviews. Also some may know me as JMM
from UNoT forums. I made a plan of this game to write a guide for and I am
Carrying it out.

5.Dynasty Mode

To start a Dynasty Mode, you need to make a GM and pick a franchise to go with.
Then Reschedule their practices, switch Longs with Mediums and make it so that
there is at least one day off in every 3-4 days in between games.
Now you should worry about profits. Go to Upgrades and use one point on
marketing, one on Practice Rink and one on your choice. Go to the Profits and
play with the ticket prices untill it shows you have a profit, ill show you
what i mean.
Well say you had prices at $69 per ticket. Well lower the prices and see if
the total profit at the bottom increases or gets smaller. If it gets smaller
then raise the price untill it gets smaller. Then set it at the price just
before it gets small.
Now you might want to pick up some quality players. Never pick lots of high
budget players, go for low cost and big skill. You should only have 1 or 2
star/superstar players. A couple of 80s players. Most of your team should be
high 70's. If you want to win later on put lots of points on scouting and trade
great players for draft picks.

There were also some draft picks in round 2-4 I saw with 99 potential.
To keep players Morale up you have to give them good facilities and decent ice
time. The higher the players overall skill means the higher ice time wanted.
If you are a team that wants to win right away, sign some free agents and
quality players. When they get low, trade them and draft picks for other top
players.
If you manage to make the playoffs, set the prices as high as you can so that
you still have a full house, but not low enough so you barely have full house.
You can raise it higher depending on your record and years you've played.
When you are playing in the playoffs, its a good idea to use the upgrades on
the Player Skill upgrades. If it is not difficult for you then you are either:

On a mode that is to easy for you
During the off season, its time to resign your players. To sign a player
effectivly, pick about 2-6 years and start at the price you start with, put
0.1 Million up each time pressing A after each one untill they accept.
Now its time to draft, use the sort button to sort the revealed overall score
and potential, choose from that. Once i found an 85 Overall goalie with 99
potential. Which is why you want a good scouting staff.
Now after the draft, make some trades and get ready for a new season.

1.Point Shot
Notes:
Take a shot from just inside the blue line, prefferably wrist, and to a side
not in the center
Why it Scores: It goes to the other side of the net, where the goalie isnt
completely covering.

2.Rebounds
Notes: Take a shot at the net, switch players and Jam on the B button
Why it scores: Rebounds are hard for the goalie to stop because the goalie
is intially down.
3.Good Old Fashioned Dip in and Out
Notes: Approach the goalie from an angle, move across the top of the crease and
fire.
Why it Scores: The goalie goes on his pads before you shoot, because you wait
he thinks you will shoot earlier

4. Deke
Notes: Aproach the goalie at a Slower speed, use the C Stick for a manual deke.
Put it to the goalies Stick Side. Now about 4 feet from the net put it glove
side and head around the net, the goalie should go down, the trick is to push
it before you go around the net, it should go in half of the time
Why it Scores: FAKE OUT!!
5.Overpower
Notes: Fire a cannon slapper at the goalie, it might leak into the net.
Why it Scores: Self Explanatory
6.Pull Goalie
Notes: Pull your goalie near the end of the game. Or if you have a powerplay
within 5 Minutes of the games end.
Why it Scores: It doesnt, it gives you an extra man to pass to.
Penalty Killing

1.Dump
Notes: Just get the puck and Blast a shot, it should go to the other side
of the rink, no icing as you are short handed.
2.Possession
Notes: Hold it back in your end, wait untill someone comes and simply pass or
use strategy number 1
3.Freeze Puck
Notes: When the goalie gets the puck, either have him stay there with it for
the few seconds and pass or just let him cover it.
4.Pressure
Notes: Try to keep the puck in the offensive zone.
5.Collapse Net
Notes: There should be a special strategy called collapse net, all your players
dive in front of the net to block shots.

Notes: Hold it in the Opponents end, passing back and forth, hoping for an
opening to shoot through

7. Hockey Terms
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Short Handed- Have a penalty against you
Hooking- Obstructing someone from the puck with your stick but wrapping it
around you.
Roughing- Being violent
Charging- Taking to many steps before hitting someone
Boarding- Ramming someone into the boards by hitting a high part of their body,
such as their head into it.
Holding: Using your hands to stop someone from moving
Offside- Having a player over the oppositions blue line before the puck is over
Icing- Dumping the puck from behind the center line in your zone past the
opposite teams goal line.
Powerplay- When the other team is short handed
Two Line Pass- Passing the puck over two lines
Fighting- When two players fight
Delayed Penalty Call- When one team is fouled but managed to keep possession of
the puck
Delayed Offside- When someone is offside, but doesnt touch the puck, it is
delayed untill the offside player is onside
Cross Checking-Useing the Shaft of the stick to check
Spearing- Using the Stick as a Spear
Elbowing- Using the elbow to hit another player
Unsportsmanlike Conduct- Swearing at the ref, or fingering someone or just
plain insulting someone else
Game Misconduct- You get thrown out of the game
Minor Penalty- A Two minute Penalty, the other team can score once on an
advantage like this.
Double Minor- A 4 minute penalty, the other team can score twice with an
advantage like this
Major Penalty- You are sent to the box for 5-10 minutes. The other team
will be on a powerplay untill the time is up, they can score infinite times
untill the penalty is over. Fights cancel each other out and the game stays
5 on 5.
Empty Net- When the other team pulls their goalie
Powerplay Goal- When you score on the powerplay
Shorthanded goal- When you score shorthanded
Breakaway- When there is noone between you and the goalie

Penalty Shot- When someone is fouled on a breakaway, the player is all alone
with a free breakaway on the goalie.
Another way to get a penalty shot is to use your hand in the crease to keep it
away
Blocked Shot- A player using their body to stop a shot from getting through
Intercepted- To steal a pass
Slapshot- To slap at the puck with the stick
Wrist Shot- To flick your wrist as you shoot to add height or speed
Empty Net Goal- To score when the other team has an empty goal
Natural Hat Trick- Scoring Three times in one period
Hat Trick- Scoring in a game 3 times
Frozen Puck- The Goalie covering the puck up for a whistle
Obstruction-Blocking or Tripping someone so they cant reach the puck
Interference-Hitting or ifracting someone not in the play
