Genesis
Sonic the Hedgehog
Number of Endings: 2
How to obtain the Endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with or without all
emeralds.
Ending Description
First you have to beat Dr. Robotnik in his machine where he sends
electric balls at you then tries to crush you. Defeat it and his
machine blows up and he runs. You chase after him and you have the
option of blowing up his escape pod when he jumps into it.
From there, we see a scene of Sonic running left along the fields of
the Green Hill Zone. He then comes to a screeching halt and does one
of the following:
Bad Ending (don?t get all the emeralds): Sonic gives you that ?hurry
up and play me? stare.
Good ending (get all emeralds): Sonic throws the emeralds into the
air and they start swirling around and disappear and Sonic looks
around with a confused look.
Sonic then jumps out at you with his index finger pointed at you and
an ?alright? facial expression and the words Sonic the Hedgehog
appears.
The credits roll and show clips of the various stages you been in.
Clips of the music from each stage will be played too but in wrong
order. At the end of the credits, Dr. Robotnik does one of the
following.
Bad Ending: Robotnik juggles any uncollected emeralds above his head
and the words ?TRY AGAIN? appear under him.
Good Ending: Robotnik stomps furiously on the word ?END?.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Number of Endings: 3
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with Sonic (with or
without all emeralds) and Tails (doesn?t matter for him).
Endings Description: Destroy the Giant Robotnik machine with 12 hits
and the ship gets ready to blow. Sonic or Tails will make a break
for it to the escape hatch as the spaceship blows up in flames.
Sonic?s Endings
There are black and white pictures of the spaceship blowing up,
Tails and friends looking on, Tails boards the plane, then takes off.
Cut to Sonic spinning in circles as he falls down. Tails will catch
him in the nick of time. Bluebirds (Flickies?) will fly behind the
plane for a little bit before Tails does a plane dive and Sonic
jumps off the plane with his fist pumped.
If you gathered all the Emeralds, then Sonic will be Super Sonic and
instead of spinning as he falls, he spreads his arms out and then
flies alongside the plane. Instead of Bluebirds (Flickies?), Eagles
will come instead. When Tails dips the plane, Super Sonic flies from
behind then emerges in front in a Superman-like style.
Tails Ending
Just the same except there is no cutscene. Tails is just spinning as
he falls down. After a while, Sonic flies by and catches him.
Roosters join the flight before Sonic dips the plane and Tales jumps
off with his feet extended.
After this the credits roll and at the end it will show the Sonic
the Hedgehog 2 logo. There is no good or bad ending here.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Number of Endings: 4
How to obtain the endings: Beat Robotnik with or without all
emeralds for each character.
Endings description
Beat the machine which tries to grab and slam you then the base
around you blows up and your platform disconnects from the base and
you?ll see what appears to be the Death Egg in the background
falling down.
Sonic?s Ending
He?ll do his ?act clear? victory pose then jumps out at the screen
with his fist pumped. If you have all emeralds, he jumps down and
comes back up as Super Sonic and gives a thumbs up.
Tails?s Ending
He does his ?act clear? victory pose and jumps out at you in victory
with his feet extended.
The credits roll and these two things happen at the end:
Bad ending (without all emeralds): Robotnik chuckles and Knuckles
will play self catch with the uncollected emeralds
Good ending (collect all emeralds): Sonic and Tails pose in front of
the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 logo.

Sonic and Knuckles
Number of Endings: 4
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with or without all
emeralds (Sonic) and Beat Super Metal Sonic with or without Emeralds
(Knuckles). As Sonic, you fight an extra stage if you get all
emeralds.
Sonic?s Ending
Bad Ending (don?t get all emeralds): Defeat Robotnik as you chase
him down and he?ll drop the Super Emerald. The Death Egg blows up
and Sonic falls from space with the Super Emerald beside him but it
stays stranded in space as Sonic falls alone. Tails catches him and
makes a U-Turn around the fallen Floating Island which stays in the
ocean and the credits roll as Sonic and Tails fly freely. At the end
of the credits, Sonic jumps off and gives a #1 pose. The Sonic and
Knuckles logo appears. Then it shows a small scene of Robotnik
chuckling with the Super Emerald behind him.
Good Ending (get all the emeralds): Super Sonic defeats Robotnik and
snatches the Super Emerald. Sonic will fall from space alongside the
Emerald and this time the Emerald stays with him as Tails flies by
and catches Sonic and unleashes a rear claw to catch the Emerald.
Tails will make a U-Turn and fly by the fallen Floating Island. The
island flashes and begins to rise out the water. The credits roll,
as Sonic and Tails fly freely and at the end, Sonic jumps off the
plane and disappears then reappears as Super Sonic and flies in the
foreground with a ?thumbs up?. The Sonic and Knuckles logo appears.
Then it shows a small scene of a Robotnik droid rising from the
rubble.
Knuckles Ending
Bad Ending (Don?t get all emeralds): Defeat Super Metal Sonic
without all emeralds and the ground will crumble and both Knuckles
and Metal Sonic fall. Sonic will catch Knuckles who is tired from
the battle and flies back to the island and drops him off before
flying away. During the credits, the Floating Island which has been
tilting throughout the fight will fall down as the credits roll. It
land in the ocean as the Sonic and Knuckles logo appears. A small
scene of Metal Sonic hoping onto the Super Emerald appears
Good Ending (Get all emeralds): Defeat Metal Sonic with all emeralds
and the floor will crumble and both Knuckles and Metal Sonic will
fall. Sonic will catch Knuckles who is holding the Super Emerald and
gives Sonic the ?thumbs up? and both fly by the island where Sonic
drops Knuckles off and flies away. The island which had been tilting
throughout the fight will rise while the credits roll. It will stop
eventually and it will show a glimpse of outer space. At the end of
the credits, Knuckles jumps out of nowhere with his fist pumped and
he Sonic and Knuckles logo appears.

Sonic Spinball
Number of Endings: 1
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik.
Endings Description: When Dr. Robotnik's machine is destroyed, the
display says "Goodbye Robotnik" and the base blows up. Sonic and Robotnik
are now falling.Tails comes in on his plane as saves Sonic and they fly
off with Robotnik still falling.
Sonic 3D Blast
Number of Endings: 2
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik without the emeralds.
If you gather all emeralds, you go on to the final stage.
Endings Description
Bad Ending (Don't get all emeralds): Sonic defeats the robot and
skyrockets into the air with the flickies with him. You'll see an image
of a robot and Robotnik says "As long as I have this final weapon I can
conquer the world anytime. See you again Sonic." After the credits,
Robotnik is juggling the chaos emeralds and the words Try Again appear
above.
Good Ending (Get all emeralds): You get to face the final boss. After
beating the final boss. The screen will say Sonic got through the final
fight. Sonic leaps away from the exploding machine and out of the
teleporting ring. Sonic is congratulated by the flickies who say
"Thank you sonic! You saved us from Robotnik. We are grateful for your
efforts." Sonic says "I just did what I wanted to do. Nobody messes
with my friends. See ya!" A overhead view of the island is shown and
the narration says: The flickies have been freed. Peace and freedom
came back to flicky island again. Then comes the credits.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles
Number of Endings: 9
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with or without all
emeralds or all Super Emeralds (Sonic and Tails) and beat Super
Metal Sonic with Knuckles with or without all emeralds or get all
Super Emeralds. As Sonic, you fight one extra stage if you collect
all emeralds or Super Emeralds
Sonic?s Ending
Bad Ending (don?t get all emeralds): Defeat Robotnik as you chase
him down and he?ll drop the Super Emerald. The Death Egg blows up
and Sonic falls from space with the Super Emerald beside him but it
stays stranded in space as Sonic falls alone. Tails catches him and

instead of Super Sonic which is almost the same except he flashes
many colors instead of gold.Sonic Tails and Knuckles pose in front
of the Sonic 3 and Knuckles logo at the end.
Tails?s Ending
Bad Ending (don?t get all emeralds): Defeat Robotnik as you chase
him down and he?ll drop the Super Emerald. The Death Egg blows up
and Tails falls from space with the Super Emerald beside him but it
stays stranded in space as Tails falls alone. Sonic catches him and
makes a U-Turn around the fallen Floating Island which stays in the
ocean and the credits roll as Sonic and Tails fly freely. At the end
of the credits, Tails jumps off and gives a cute pose. The Sonic and

emeralds.

How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with or without all
emeralds.
Endings description
Not so real ending: Sonic chases Robotnik blows his pod up and it goes
straight to the stage complete where your emeralds and lives are added
to your score then it goes to the credits with Sonic singing. It will
display Game Gear Version
Real Ending: Same as above except Sonic tosses the emeralds into the air
and they circle the island.

How to obtain the endings: Beat Metal Sonic without all emeralds. If
you got the other 5 emeralds, you get the last emerald from Metal
Sonic and go on the final stage and fight Robotnik in Act 3.
Endings Description
Bad Ending (Have less than 5 emeralds): After defeating Metal Sonic, he
is running as the credits roll. He'll eventually stop and look into the
sky to see an image of Tails (who we assume is dead T_T) and the word
END appears.
Good Ending (have all emeralds): You chase Robotnik and he teleports away
and Tails teleports in. Both Sonic and Tails run while the credits roll
and they look up to see images of themselves amongst the stars and the
word END appears.

Sonic Chaos (Sonic and Tails in Japan)
Number of Endings: 3
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik with or without all
Emeralds (Sonic), defeat Dr. Robotnik period (Tails).
Endings Description
Sonic's Bad Ending (don't get all emeralds): Sonic chases Robotnik who
is still holding the red emerald but he trips and falls. The words TRY
AGAIN appears.
Sonic's Good Ending: After Sonic chases Robotnik, the red emerald falls
and Sonic gets it. During the credits, Sonic will play around within the
emerald. Then the word end appears.
Tails's Ending: Tails just moves around in empty space as the credits
roll and the word End appears will Tails is flying and he gets stuck in
D and falls down after freeing himself

Sonic as the credits roll

How to obtain the endings: Read the Genesis Endings for the classic
games. Sonic World-Jump into the giant ring over the waterfall. In order
to get the ring, you must finish all objectives.
Ending Description
Sonic World: In this mode
you need to complete all the objectives, then jump into the giant golden
ring. The credits will then play, with some cool pictures and music.

Number of Endings: 7
How to obtain the endings: Beat Dr. Robotnik (Sonic and Tails), Beat Chaos
(Big the Cat and Knuckles), Beat E-101 Beta Mk.II (E-102 Gamma), Beat
Zero (Amy), Beat Perfect Chaos (Supersonic)
Endings Description
Sonic: Defeats eggmans eggviper and watches him fly away at the train station
in th mystic ruins. He sees tails, runs with him and jumps off a ledge making
a pose.
Tails: Defeats the eggwalker, is cheered on by citizens of station square.
Flys to the mystic ruins, finds Sonic runs with him and jumps off a ledge
making a pose.
Knuckles: Deafeats chaos 6 glides to angel island with the cahos emeralds and
master emerald shards, the master emerald is complete, angel island flies away
and knuckles wonders why hes on the island and states its better this way.
Amy: beats zero watches birdie and his family fly away. Talks about getting
Sonic to like her and makes a pose.
Big: defeats chaos 6 Uses tornado 2 to fly to his home, plays with froggie by
fishing running and jumping around. Dances on a pyramid in front of froggie and
fade to black
E-102: Deafeats e-101 mk2 goes close to e-101 it attacks you it explodes, you
walk away you explode then the white bird that comes out of e-101 is followed
by a pink one that emerges from you.
Super sonic: Deafeats perfect chaos. Chaos sees tikal and his chao floats away
with tikal sonic tails and knuckles sees this. Sonic sees eggman. Eggman flies
away, Sonic runs away.

Sonic Adventure 2
Number of Endings: 3
How to obtain the endings: The Darkside ending is achieved by defeating Sonic
in the second battle with him. Hero ending is from defeating Shadow in the
second battle with him. Final story ending is from defeating the Final
Hazard.
Endings Description
Dark Story:
Dr. Eggman throws in the last Chaos Emerald to power the cannon up fully. He
then laughs and says something along the line of "With that accursed hedgehog
out of the way, my plans for world domination can now go through!" He then
continues to laugh maniacally, but he failed to notice there was a Warning
sign flashing on the computer.
Hero Story:
After Tails defeated Dr. Eggman, he jumps out of the Tornado, and knowing
perfectly well Sonic can't answer, he says half-heartedly into the commuincator
"Sonic, I did it..." Suddenly, Sonic says "Great job, Tails!" They wonder
where he is, when he tells them to look outside. They look in shock as the
Eclipse Cannon prepares to fire, when suddenly, the cannon explodes. The camera
zooms in to reveal Sonic hanging on to the bottom of the cannon. The ending
ends with Sonic giving a thumbs-up, and then the credits roll.
Final Ending
After defeating the Final Hazard, Super Sonic and Super Shadow use Chaos
Control to transport the ARK away from its collision course with Earth. Super
Shadow falls to earth, questioning if that was his promise to Maria, that this
is what she wanted. Everyone assumes he's dead. Sonic(now normal) returns to
the ARK, everyone wonders where Shadow is. Sonic hands Rouge Shadow's bracelet,
and she asks him if Shadow's really the Ultimate Life. Eggman talks about how he
looked up to his grandfather. Knuckles asks Rouge if she's still after gems,
she says no, she has something better on her mind*cough*him*cough*. Sonic tells
everyone to return to Earth. The credits roll, accompanied by the game's main
theme, 'Live & Learn'.

wonder what became of Sonic. A few days later, Tails flies around and sees
a star, it's Supersonic flying by as Tails wave at him. Supersonic looks at
the screen and smiles as the words "Congratulations, Thank you for playing"
appears. The credits then roll.

Special Ending: Robotnik and Supersonic team up and defeat the mystery robot
and Amy runs up and hugs Sonic. Birds emerge from the Master Emerald and we
get different scenes of Sonic hanging with his crew interchanging with shots
of the mystery robot on the beach. The last shot shows Cream hugging the
robot's arm as the credits roll. It says Sonic Advane 3 END

Emerl tries to defeat Eggman, but Eggman launches the "Final Egg Blaster" and

"Final Egg Blaster" and aims it towards earth. When Tails realizes what is
going on, he starts charging his transporter again. A master emerald falls
into Sonic's hands and he goes onto the transporter with it. As he gets on
the ship, the master emerald shatters into pieces. Tails says that if Sonic
can do enough damage to Emerl, Emerl should stop the odd behavior. After
Sonic beats Emerl, he asks if he is going to die. Everybody hopes he lives,
but in the end, he disappears. Afterwards, Cream asks if there is ever a
peaceful world if they would get to play with Emerl again, and Sonic says
he is sure they will.

with tikal sonic tails and knuckles sees this. Sonic sees eggman. Eggman flies

sign flashing on the computer.
Hero Story:
After Tails defeated Dr. Eggman, he jumps out of the Tornado, and knowing
perfectly well Sonic can't answer, he says half-heartedly into the commuincator
"Sonic, I did it..." Suddenly, Sonic says "Great job, Tails!" They wonder

Endings Description: If you come first in every race the Radiant

then all the characters you've unlocked kinda run in a circle for no
apparent reason while the song 'Number One' plays in the background.
Getting all the emeralds just lets you play as Super Sonic, changes the
song on the last course to 'Supersonic Racing' and adds him to the circle
of running characters at the end.

flying away. During the credits, the Floating Island which has been
tilting throughout the fight will fall down as the credits roll. It
land in the ocean as the Sonic and Knuckles logo appears. A small
scene of Metal Sonic hoping onto the Super Emerald appears

and the floor will crumble and both Knuckles and Metal Sonic will

gives Sonic the ?thumbs up? and both fly by the island where Sonic

throughout the fight will rise while the credits roll. It will stop
eventually and it will show a glimpse of outer space. At the end of
the credits, Knuckles jumps out of nowhere with his fist pumped and
he Sonic and Knuckles logo appears.
