Hello everyone and welcome to my walkthrough. This is my second
walkthrough about Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, I needed to change
somethings. If you think something is wrong in this walkthrough
feel free to e-mail me and let me know this, I'll appreciate it.
The reason why I wrote this walkthrough is to help anyone out
there that has any problems with the game, I don't care if you
duplicate it, but if you do be gentle and let me know this.
If you think my walkthrough is a piece of trash, then just don't
read it!!

How To Unlock All The Characters/Fusions/Reincarnations
Here's a list that explains how to unlock all the
Characters/Fusions/Reincarnations.
1. Goku: You begin the game with this character.
2. Picollo: You begin the game with this character.
3. Krillin: You begin the game with this character.
4. Nappa: You begin the game with this character.
5. Tien: You begin the game with this character.
6. Raditz: You begin the game with this character.
7. Kid Gohan: You begin the game with this character.
8. Yamcha: You begin the game with this character.
9. Kid Goku: Complete Broly's D.U or find him in Goku's D.U
after battling Nappa at Granpa Gohan's House.
10. Teen Gohan: Complete Kid Gohan's D.U.
11. Gohan: Complete Teen Gohan's D.U.
12. Vegeta: You'll get him automatically when you battle him
for the first time in Goku's D.U.
13. Trunks: Complete Vegeta's D.U.
14. Kid Trunks: When you have become Majin Vegeta in Vegeta's D.U,
you'll have to fight Majin Buu after this fight,
you'll have a scene with him after this you'll
unlock him.
15. Goten: When you're in Gohan's D.U he'll be at the first red dot,
fight and defeat him to unlock him.
16. Supreme Kai: When you're in Gohan's D.U for at least the second
time, and after the battle with Goten head to
Kami's Lookout and face Picollo, after you have
beat him or time has run out and you won, you'll
appear above Babidi's Spaceship and ready to fight
Dabura, but ignore this fight and head to the
North-East part of the map, just North of Hercule's
City you'll find with Vegeta titled 'Mountains'
after your chat with Vegeta head to Babidi's Spaceship
and defeat Dabura, once again the red dot will appear
at Babidi's Spaceship, enter it, now Gohan will go
after Vegeta, but ignore your fight with him and head
to the West City, fly a little to the East and you'll
find some dark-green plains, near there should be a
scene with Supreme Kai titled 'Plains', after this
scene you'll unlock him.
17. Hercule: When you're in Picollo's D.U for at least the second time
and in the Majin Buu saga, head to Baba's Palace, near
there should be a scene with him, after your chat with him
head to Central City to talk to Videl, after this scene
you'll unlock him.
18. Videl: When in Gohan's D.U for at least the second time, head to
Kame House, just South of Kame House will be a scene with
her titled 'Plains' on one of the Chain-Islands.
19. Captain Ginyu: When in Goku's D.U and in the Frieza saga, you'll
have to fight him, after you do this and have beat
him, you'll unlock him.
20. Recoome: When in Goku's D.U and in the Frieza saga, you'll
have to fight him, after you do this and have beat
him, you'll unlock him.
21. Android #16: When you're in Krillin's D.U for at least the second
time, get to the part where you fight Frieza for the
first time in Frieza's saga, after you have beat him
there will appear two new red dots, enter the one at
the East/at your right hand, you'll have a chat with
a frog, after this scene go and defeat Frieza, after
you have done this the Android saga will begin, head
to the Island with the World Tournament Arena on it,
you should be able to find a scene with this Android
titled 'Plains', after your chat with him head to the
West City, after the scene with Bulma, you'll unlock
him.
22. Android #17: When you're in Picollo's D.U and in the Android saga
you'll have to fight him, after you do and have beat
him, you'll unlock him.
23. Android #18: Complete Krillin's D.U to unlock her.
24. Dr. Gero: When you're in Yamcha's D.U and in the Android saga,
you'll have to fight him, after you do and have beat him,
you'll unlock him.
25. Cell: Complete Teen Gohan's D.U to unlock him.
26. Cell Junior: When you're in Dragon Arena, Picollo will suddenly
break-in, defeat him to unlock Cell Junior.
27. Majin Buu: When you're in Goku's D.U you'll have to fight him,
after you do and have beat him, you'll unlock him.
28. Super Buu: When you're in Goku's D.U you'll have to fight him,
after you do and have beat him, you'll unlock him.
29. Kid Buu: When you're in Goku's D.U you'll have to fight him,
after you do and have beat him, you'll unlock him.
30. Dabura: When you're in Gohan's D.U you'll have to fight him,
after you do and have beat him, you'll unlock him.
31. Broly: When in Goku's D.U for at least the second time and in
the Majin Buu saga, at a point Gohan will be absorbed by
Super Buu, now head to the new red dot, but don't fight
Super Buu yet, search to the West for a scene with
Kibitoshin titled 'Mountains' (use R1/Ki search it helps a
lot), after your chat with Kibitoshin go and beat Super Buu
inside and out, after you have done this a new red dot will
appear, but this time it's Broly, figth and defeat him to
unlock him.
32. Omega Shenron: Fulfill the Broly requirements listed above, after
you have battled Broly and defeated him you'll
recieve a note from Kid Trunks to fight as Gogeta
(Vegeta+Goku) against Gotenks (Kid Trunks+Goten),
ignore this note and head to the West City, you'll
have a chat with Bulma there, after this scene go
and defeat Gotenks, after this fight there will be
a new red dot, Omega Shenron, there you'll fuse with
S.S.4 Vegeta transforming into S.S.4 Gogeta, you'll
be able to defeat Omega Shenron easily in the
transformed state. Note that the time of the fusion
will run out so make it quick otherwise you'll
unfuse and you'll become Goku again, if this happens
you're in some serious trouble.
33. Bardock: When you're in Goku's D.U you'll find him in the Saiyan
Spaceship located to the East of the Big Ice Island.
Another way to unlock him is to have a saved
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 file on the memory card.
34. Saibamen: When you're in Dragon Arena, Nappa will suddenly break-in
beat him to unlock him.
35. Frieza: When in Goku's D.U you'll have to fight him, beat him to
unlock him.
36. Cooler: Note you'll need to have beaten Vegeta's and Goku's D.U
at least once. When you're in Goku's D.U and at the Frieza
saga, beat Frieza the first time you battle him, after this
fight there will appear 3 new red dots, head to the one
located South of where your battle with Frieza was, there
you'll have a scene with S.S.1 Vegeta, you'll also fight
him here, after you have beat him, a new red dot will
appear, Cooler, just defeat him to unlock him.
37. Uub: When you're in Goku's D.U for at least the second time and in
the Majin Buu saga, at a point Gohan will be absorbed by
Super Buu, after this a new red dot will appear, Super Buu,
beat him inside and out, now you'll be on the map again,
adjust your Skill Tray with these 3 capsule's: Kaioken,
Super Saiyan and Spirit Bomb, the other capsule may be from
your own choice (I used Goku's Breakthrough), now enter the
red dot and defeat Kid Buu with a Spirit Bomb, note that you
need to execute the Spirit Bomb attack in the normal state,
don't execute it as a Super Saiyan or higher otherwise you'll
execute Super Dragon Fist, after you have defeated Kid Buu
correctly a new red dot will appear at the World Tournament,
there you'll fight Uub, defeat him to unlock him.
38. Great Sayaman: Complete Gohan's D.U to unlock him.
Fusions
1. Gotenks: Trunks: The only way to unlock him is by buying the
capsule in the Skill Shop.
Goten: The only way to unlock him is by buying the
capsule in the Skill Shop.
2. Vegito: Vegeta: You'll automatically get the capsule in Vegeta's
D.U in the Majin Buu saga.
Goku: You'll automatically get the capsule in Goku's
D.U in the Majin Buu saga.
3. Gogeta: Vegeta: When you're in Vegeta's D.U for at least the
second time and in the Majin Buu saga, at a point
you'll have to fight Super Buu, before this head
to the Musle Tower on the Big Ice Island, when you
fly over it a scene with Kibitoshin will
automatically start, after this scene head to the
the red dot and beat Super Buu inside and out, now
a new red dot titled 'Mountains' will appear,
Broly, fight and defeat him, after you have beat
him you'll get a note from Goten to fight as Gogeta
(Vegeta+Goku) against Gotenks (Kid Trunks+Goten),
head to this new red dot, you'll unlock the capsule
here.
Goku: You'll automatically get the capsule when
fulfilling the Omega Shenron requirements.
4. S.S.4 Gogeta: Vegeta: Fulfill the Gogeta requirements for Vegeta
until you get to the part where you have to
fight Broly, instead of fighting Broly head
to Kame House and then fly over the
Chain-Island at the South of the Kame House,
on one of the Island you'll find a scene with
Goku, after your chat with him, go and defeat
Broly, now a new red dot will appear, here
you'll fight S.S.4 Goku, defeat him to unlock
the capsule.
Goku: You'll automatically get the capsule when
fulfilling the Omega Shenron requirements.
5. Kibitoshin: Fullfill the Supreme Kai requirements, now go and
defeat Vegeta, now a new red dot will appear, Kid Buu,
defeat him too, after this go to Central City and head
to the West, keep flying until the land ends and you're
above the water, on one of the Island will be a scene
with Kibitoshin titled 'Forest', after this scene you'll
unlock him. Another way to unlock this capsule is by
buying it in the Skill shop, but you'll need to have
the Black Membership Card to buy this 'Rare' capsule.
Reincarnations
1. Majin Vegeta: You'll automatically get the 'Babidi's Mind Control'
capsule in Vegeta's D.U, when the Majin Buu saga
begins.
2. Mecha Frieza: When you're in Goku's D.U for at least the second
time and in the Frieza saga, at a point you'll battle
Frieza, after you have beat him there will appear
3 new red dots, ignore them all, in the middle of all
of them you'll find a lonely Island with a '???' on
it, enter it to get the 'Frieza's Spaceship' capsule.
Another way to unlock this capsule is by buying it
in the Skill Shop, but you'll need to have the
Black Membership card to buy this 'Rare' capsule.
3. Metal Cooler: Fulfill the Cooler requirements, when you have
defeated Cooler you'll have a chat with him in his
Metal form after this scene a new red dot will
appear but ignore it and search near Cooler's
Spaceship for the 'Cooler's Spaceship Capsule.
Another way to unlock this capsule is by buying it
at the Skill Shop, but you'll need to have the
Black Membershipcard to buy this 'Rare' capsule.
Dragon Universe Characters
Here's a list of the 11 characters playable in Dragon Universe

Story Reenactment
1. Use Special Beam Cannon on Raditz (Picollo's D.U).
2. Use Ki Blast Cannon on Nappa (Tien's D.U).
3. Use Masenko on Nappa (Kid Gohan's D.U).
4. Use Destructo Disc on Frieza when he's transformed into his
second form (Krillin's D.U).
5. Transform into Super Saiyan when battling Frieza and
win (Goku's D.U).
6. Use Senzu Bean when your health is orange against
Dr. Gero (Yamcha's D.U).
7. Fuse with Kami when you're battling Cell (Picollo's D.U).
8. Beat Cell the first time you fight him with more
than 2500 Health Points (Half green health gauge) (Vegeta's D.U).
9. Transform into Super Saiyan and use Final Flash
the second time you fight Cell (Vegeta's D.U).
10. Transform into Super Saiyan and beat Goku (Teen Gohan's D.U).
11. Transform into Super Saiyan 2 and defeat Perfect Cell with
the Father-Son Kamehameha (Teen Gohan's D.U).
12. Gather your KI at MAX and use Final Explosion when
you're Majin Vegeta against Majin Buu (Vegeta's D.U).
13. When battling Majin Buu transform into S.S.3 (Goku's D.U).
14. Make the battle against Super Buu more than 60 seconds
long (Picollo's D.U).
15. When battling Super Buu use the
Unlock Elder Kai Ability (Gohan's D.u).
16. Beat Kid Buu with the Spirit Bomb, you'll need to be in
the normal state otherwise you'll excecute Super Dragon Fist
and you'll also need to have Spirit Bomb, Kaioken
and Super Saiyan in your Skill Tray (Goku's D.U).
17. Defeat Goku transformed as Super Saiyan 4 in your last battle
against him, not the Majin Vegeta v.s Goku battle (Vegeta's D.U).
18. When you're transformed as Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and
battling Omega Shenron wait till his health gauge is
green to use 100x Big Bang Kamehameha (Goku's D.U).
19. Use Gigantic Meteor on Gohan the second time (Broly's D.U).
20. When battling Goku at the world tournament stage use
Ki Cannon (Uub's D.U).
Dragon Arena
You can get the 'Dragon Arena Ticket' capsule and unlocking the
Dragon Arena mode by defeating D.U with all 11 playable characters
(doesn't matter in wich order you do this).

Z Difficult Settings
Here's how to unlock the extra difficult settings for the D.U mode
and the 'Strongest Of The Universe Throphy'.
1. Goku's Wish (Z): Beat D.U with any character playable in D.U at the
Very Hard difficult setting.
2. The Path To Power (Z2): Beat D.U with any character playable in D.U
at the Z difficult setting.
3. Endless Path To Power (Z3): Beat D.U with any character playable in
D.U at the Z2 difficult setting.
4. Strongest Of The Universe Throphy: Beat the D.U with any character
playable in D.U at the Z3
difficult settings.
Baba's Crystal Ball's
Now I will explain how to get the Baba's Crystal Ball's
You can buy Baba's Crystal Ball 000 at the Skill Shop after unlocking
every character except Saibamen and Cell Junior, and also by buying
their Ultimate Attacks, 50.000 Zenie's each.
You can buy Baba's Crystal Ball 001 at the Skill Shop after you have
bought Baba's Crystal Ball 000.
Breakthroughs
Here's how you get the breakthroughs.
You can begin buying all the breakthroughs for all the characters
that can't be played in the Dragon Universe by having the
Baba's Crystal Ball's and by getting all the Breakthroughs of the
characters that can be played in Dragon Universe, you do this by
completing their D.U with all seven dragonballs and by wishing the
breakthrough at the end for the character.
No specific order is needed.
Memories Of's
Here's how you get the Memories Of's.
You can begin buying all the Memories Of's for all the characters
that can't be played in the Dragon Universe by having the
Baba's Crystal Ball's and all the breakthroughs and by getting all
the Memories Of's of the characters that can be played in
Dragon Universe, you do this by completing their D.U with all seven
dragonballs and by wishing the Memories Of's at the end for the
characters. No specific order is needed.
World Tournament
Here's how to unlock the different levels of the World Tournament.
1. Novice: You start the game with this level.
2. Adept: Beat Novice and then buy it at the Skill Shop.
3. Advanced: Beat Adept and then buy it at the skill shop.
4. Cell-Games: Beat Cell when he breaks-in in Dragon Arena.
Membership Cards
Here's a list of the membership cards and how to get them.
1. Green Membership Card: You start the game with this Membership
Card.
2. Silver Membership Card: Buy it at the Skill Shop, or by having a
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 saved file on the
memory card or by getting it in someone's
D.U.
3. Gold Membership Card: Find it in someone's D.U
(Must be higher than level 15)
or buy it at the Skill Shop.
4. Black Membership Card: Find it in someone's D.U
(Must be higher than level 30)
or buy it at the Skill Shop.
