Unlock Opening Edit (US Version)To unlock OPENING as a selection in the OPTION menu, you must get all 42 character, and complete the game with 1 character from each force(Wei, Wu, Shu, Dong Zhuo, Lu Bu, Yuan Shao). This will also unlock Yellow Turbans Force on the Musou Mode selection screen.
Unlock Elephant Saddle
To unlock the Elephant saddle, you must be play Nanman Campaign on Nanman side, wait for an ally to get knocked off his elephant, and ride the elephant into the enemy base, and a precious item will apear on the map.
Unlock Gaiden Stage Tian Shui
On Act III choose ''The Battle at Chi Bi'' first, kill Cao Cao before Zhuge Liang calls the Wind or Fire Attack. After Act V or VI, you will go to ''The Battle at Tian Shui''.
Unlock Gan Ning
To unlock Gan Ning play Wu's Chapter Four, Battle of Xia Kou, and him.
Unlock Hex Mark Saddle
In Yellow Turban Musou mode, select the level: Yellow Turban Fortress then select: The Campaign against Liu Bei, defeat Guan Yu and Zhao Yun before the any reinforcements arrive. Then attack Liu Bei and get his life bar about one half depleted, and a precious item will apear on the map.
Unlock Jiang Wei
To unlock Jiang Wei, you need to get to the Shu Gaiden," Battle of Tian Sui". Follow Zhuge Liang's instructions, defeat all the generals outside of the castles. Jiang Wei will comes out of his castle and start to attack, defeat his two sub-generals. Lure Jiang Wei by clearing the road towards Zhuge Liang and let them meat. Afterwards he will surrender and the 2 generals left in the other castle will surrender also. Finish by defeating the last general and jiang wei would be unlocked.
Unlock Lu Bu
To unlock Lu Bu beat Mosou Mode with any kingdom.
Unlock Ma Chao
To unlock Ma Chao play Shu Chapter Four, Campaign for Cheng Du, and beat him.
Unlock Red Hare Saddle
To unlock the red hare saddle choose the Battle of Xia Pi Lu Bu Side. Do not kill any enemy generals, and wait for Guan Yu meet the Red Hare event. Defeat him and a precious Item would be at the bottom right part of the map.
Unlock Shadow Saddle
Play Tong Gate on Liu Bei's side. Defeat the four generals in the lower right side of the stage. Go to the upper right area and kill Xu Zhu. Go to the upper left and kill Xu Huang and his sub-general. Kill Cao Cao's remaining sub-general, but do not kill Cao Cao. You must kill these generals yourself. Go back to the lower right area and wait for a cutscene. Follow the special item report and claim the saddle.
Unlock Square Sky Halberd
Play Lu Bu Rebellion on Lu Bu's side on hard difficulty and defeat all the troops and ambushes. You have to deafeat all the sub generals and generals. Leave Dong Zhou alive and you will recive a message saying you earned it.
Unlock Taishi
To unlock Taishi play Wu Chapter Three, Campaign for Wu Territory. Defeat him and he will retreat. Later on the stage he will return and join you.
Unlock the battle of Ru Nan
You must have beat Musou Mode. On the second chapter of the Shu musou mode choose ?Hu Lao? gate first. Do not defeat Lu Bu. Defeat Dong Zhuo. After the battle you will get the Tale stage ?Battle of Ru Nan?.
Unlock the Storm Saddle
You must play the Campaign against Cao Cao on Lu Bu's side. Ride up through and get the Ambush from either Xiahou Yuans side or Cao Pis side. Its easier to go up and just run past Xiahou Yuans and then come around from the fortress behind Cao Pi. One of your Generals will say ''I believe there are more ambush partys. We must search for them'' and you'll see on your map where to check. Since your there Xu Huang will appear and his troops will then retreat because you've spoiled their Ambush. Wait untill Xiahou Dun appears as reinforcements. Go and kill him and the precious item report will appear and you have your Storm Saddle.
Unlock Vacuum Book
Play Battle of Xu Chang Shu Side. Protect Yue Ying while she sets up the Cloud Ladder, and defeat Xu Chu's ambush in the ally base. A precious item would be reported on the top left half of the map.
Unlock Yuan Shao
To unlock Yuan Shao complete musou mode with a Wei character.
Unlock Zhang He
Complete 11 Wei Musou Mode stages.
Unlock Zhang Jiao
Complete all of the Musou Modes once for Shu,Wei,Wu,Lu Bu,Dong Zhuo,Yuan Shao,and Nan Man.
Unlock Zhang Liao
Complete the Battle of Xia Pi on Wei's Musou Mode once.
Unlock Zhao Yun
Play in the Shu Kingdom and beat Act 2.
Unlocking Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao.
Complete Wu Musou Mode. Then, start another Wu Musou Mode, and on Act I, play ''Yellow Turban Fortess'' (Zhang Bao) first, then play through ''Yellow Turban Rebellion.'' (Zhang Jiao) After this, you'll go to the secret stage, ''Rescue the Qiaos'' where you can unlock the both characters.
Unlocking Dong Zhou
Complete Lu Bu's Musou Mode.
Unlocking Gaiden Stage Guan Yu's Escape Wei Side
On Act 1, Choose Yellow Turban Rebellion, on Act 2, Beat both levels, this unlocks the Gaiden stage, Guan Yu's Escape Wei Side.
Unlocking Gaiden stage Tong Gate
In Shu musou chapter 4, select the Cheng Du stage. If you haven't unlocked Ma Chao, he will appear,defeat him. Tong Gate will be unlocked. If you've already unlocked Ma Chao, defeat Pang De instead.
Unlocking Gaiden Stage Tong Gate Wei Side
To unlock the Gaiden Stage Tong Gate on Wei side, on Wei Act 3 select the Battle of Chi Bi first.
Unlocking Meng Huo
In the Nanman Campaign level in musou mode, pick either Wu or Shu, defeat Meng Huo in a duel in his sixths appearance.
