This FAQ/Walkthrough is based on the Japanese version of "Kingdom Hearts II"
that is released on December 22nd, 2005. This document does contain spoilers.

Walkthrough(Proud Mode)--------------------------------------------------------

Select New Game from the Title Menu. The game will promt you to select a mode:
Beginner, Standard or Proud. I am going with Proud Mode. Secondly, it's to have
the Vibration On or Off. Next, it is the Sound Type: Stereo, Pro Logic II or
Mono. At the end, just confirm it.

After scenes, you will gain control of Roxas. Just head up toward your friends.
Next, head up to the Acc Shop, and press Triangle. Next, use R1 to LogOn that
cat.
More scenes and you will need to pick a weapon: Stick Used For Struggle Battle
(Right, Atk+1), The Bar With A Hand Guard(Middle, Def+1), The Stick That's Like
A Staff Rather Than A Sword(Left, Mag+1). Any of the status increase is for the
initial status of Roxas.
I am going with The Stick That's Like A Staff Rather Than A Sword.
Enemy: Seifer
Get near and keep attacking. LogOn, circle around and keep your distance, he
will jump toward you. Get near and attack. Repeat til you beat him.
After, you will be in the woods. Chase after the NoBody/Dusk. Get near it and
press Triangle.
Enemy: Dusk
LogOn and circle around to avoid it. The Reaction Command here is the Slide
Turn, use it for evasion. If it gets near, jump away. Try to attack it even
though it doesn't do any damage. Eventually, a scene and Roxas will get the
KeyBlade. Now, you can damage it. Attack, Attack and Slide Turn, repeat til it
dies.

Now, you can save your game. Get near the save point and press Triangle. You'll
get the Twilight Town Map. Near you is the skateboard, ride it and get to the
north.
Well, time for some arbeit/part-time job. Check the board with Triangle. The
ones you can take are: Letter Delivery, Luggage Transfer and Performance.
The Letter Delivery is rather simple. You'll be riding the skateboard, and just
go on the path. Whenever you see a person, prepare to press Triangle. Aside the
3 person, there are also 2 birds. Some bird can be pretty high, just besure to
jump and press Triangle quickily.
As for Luggage Transfer, just attack the bag/cart up to the garage. When the
bag/cart got knocked into the air, don't get too close.
Then for Performance, just juggle the ball by attacking it. Just LogOn it, have
it in air, get under it and attacking. Roxas will jump up and attack it. You
can also jump up yourself.
If you want more arbeit, head down to the Tram Plaza. You can also skate around
here if you like. One area also have you to fight flies, lol. Anyway, for the
board here, you have Poster Pasting, Bee Extermination and Junk Clearning.
First up, Poster Pasting. Just explore around and paste posters. Look out for
the spots and move around the camera to look around.
As for Bee Extermination, just keep attacking them and use LogOn as well.
Lastly, Junk Clearning. Destroy the junks with your attacks. The key here is to
not use so many attacks. Just aim it right and knock one junk to others to get
rid of them all together.
Now, you only need to get certain amount of Munny. But, if you want a bonus,
AP+1, get around 800 Munny. If you want the best bonus, AP+2, get around 1200
Munny.
(I got an E-Mail from Marc Harel. He said that if you do the Poster Pasting in
less than 1:20 or so, you'll get 100 Munnies.)
When you got the Munny, go to the station to speak with Hayner. If you aim for
the AP+2 bonus, just keep getting more and more Munny, once you have enough,
the game WILL take you there automatically.
Anyway, more scene and you will get the Munny Pouch.

Continue on to meet your friends. More scenes and you will get into another
battle.
Enemy: Dusk*3
You can't kill them without the KeyBlade, but do what you need to. Seifer, Fuu
and Rai will take care of 2, so that leaves 1 to you. Just repeat what you did
before. More scene after.
You will be in Dive To Heart. You can pick between Staff, Sword and Shield. Of
course, anyone that has played the first Kingdom Hearts SHOULD remember this.
This should work the same way as Kingdom Hearts. I am going with Staff. It is
time to fight again.
Enemy: Dusk*3
Same old method from before. Attack, Attack and Slide Turn. Do it fast enough,
you won't take any damage.
After, check the box for a Potion. Save your game and take the door. Continue
on up and you can fight most Dusk on the way. Get another box on the way. At
the end, another door. Beyond that is the boss.
Enemy: Twilight Zone
Rather nice fight here. The screen will turn white and you will end up being in
the air. Keep pressing Triangle to prepare for the Reaction Command, after, do
still pressing Triangle for another Reaction. Next, the platform will tilt, and
again, pressing Triangle for yet another Reaction.
When it's down, do attack it. Now, once it comes back up, it's crazy Triangle+
Circle time. Not all its attacks are Reaction based, so do jump and avoid for
some. Mostly, Triangle and Circle. If you are low on HPs, use options.
After, it will just repeat all over. On Proud Mode, I beat it at the 2nd time
of the cycle, i.e when Roxas and it fell on the platform the 2nd time.

More scene and time for Struggle Battle. Speak with the man near the board for
the rules. Once you are ready, speak with the man at the center.
Enemy: Hayner
Simple concept here: Attack the enemy and get their Prize Balls. Whoever got
the most balls at the end of the time limit wins. Hayner is rather easy & it's
good for you to pratice.
Enemy: Vivi
This kid SMOKED Seifer!!! Anyway, after you attack him, quickily move away.
Most of the time, you can keep your distance and watch for an opening. This is
another easy win.
Afterward, more Dusk. Same old Attack, Attack and Slide Turn should kill them
all easily. After that, a new enemy appears and battle time again.
Enemy: Axel
He moves pretty fast and often attack his front. Keep your distance and circle
around him. When you see opening, go for it. If he knees down, move away from
him and ready to jump away. You can also use this chance to attack him after.
If you see any fire around him, stay away from him.
Afterward, more scenes. Save your game, then to the final Struggle Battle.
Enemy: Setzer
Not much of a fight here. Circle around and attack him when you see an opening.
Keep your distance and you can easily win.
Afterward, you get the Champion Belt as well as the Struggle Trophy.

Head to the station to take the train. If you talk with Pence, you can view the
Map for the locations of the Mysteries.
First up, The Mysterious Stone Steps. It will be done automatically.
Continue down to the Terrace area. Explore around for items, aside from the
obvious boxes, there is also one and you will need to get up on the train here
to get to it.
In this area, you can solve another mystery: The Friend Of The Other Side Of
The Cave. Get near a wall at a small alley and examine it. Avoid the balls and
check the wall again.
Next, another mystery can be solved here: By Yourself Again. Near where that
Olette is, there is a small waterfall, check it out to battle and defeat a
shadow of yourself.
Next up, check the tunnel for the next mystery: The Echoed Groan In The Tunnel.
Within, defeat all these Vivi.
Now, head to the Sunset Hill. Check the bag at the top of the hill for the next
mystery: The Wriggling Luggage. Get near and ride on it. The rest is ride it &
jump over the cans. Just keep pressing Triangle.
After you got the above mysteries solved, back to the Sunset Hill for another
one: The Enigma Of The Phantom Train.
Afterward, head to the Tram Plaza. Skate to the other side, toward a hole in
the wall that leads you to the woods. Go through the woods to that Mansion.

Head out for more Dusk. Take out few and head toward the Mansion. Just beware
of the new type of NoBody here, they can be pretty deadly on Proud Mode.
Within, there are about 3 items around. There are 3 paths you can take here:
Left of 1F, Left of 2F and Right of 2F. Left of 1F leads to 2 more items, and
go to the Left of 2F for more scene. In the end, you will get Namine's Sketch &
the Mansion's Map. Save your game and exit out this room.
Time to take the Right of 2F. Go down for another item. Go onto the Computer
Room for more scene, then save your game.
Continue on to fight more Dusk, then time for the boss fight.
Enemy: Axel
Considering Roxas got both Oblivion and Oath Keeper here, this should be pretty
easy. It's similar to last fight and besure to make good use of R1/LogOn. When
you are attacking, prepare for the Reaction Command with Triangle at the end.
When he jumps out of the ring, besure to LogOn to know where he is. That way,
you can easily avoid his attacks. If you need to heal, use your potions.
Afterward, continue on through the near door. Get the item and through another
door. More scenes and the game will now truly begins.

You will be outside the Mansion, controlling Sora. For the area before that
Mansion, there are 2 more items. Anyway, move on. You will end up in the Usual
Spot of Pence/Olette/Hayner. Save your game.
Before you head to the station, explore the Tram Plaza for few items. You can
also check out the forest area for more items. If you go to the Sandlot, you
can meet with Seifer, Fuu and Rai.
Moving on to the station. Another fight with more Dusk. Don't worry about it,
Mickey Mouse will come to help. After, you get the Munny Pouch & Crystal Ball,
as well as the Other Ansem Report 2.
Within the station, check around for about 3 items, save your game and speak
with Donald once you are ready.

Get the 3 items and get near the door to meet Pete. Afterward, you'll be inside
the tower. Get the items near and save your game.
The rest is just continue up the tower and more Heartless on the way. You will
meet up with YenSid(reverse spelling of 'Disney'). After, check the box here
for the Mysterious Tower Map. You can read the book and speak with YenSid more.
After, go into the other room. Get the item and speak with the one in red. Once
they finally decided, you will obtain the Star Seeker and Brave Form. Next, go
back to speak with YenSid.
(Brave Form gets exp as you HIT an enemy.)
Out on the WorldMap, move the Gummi Ship to Hollow Bastion.

Continue on to meet the Moogle. The Moogle serves a similar purpose like the
first Kingdom Hearts, that is, Item Synthesis. Anyway, moving on.
More Dusk to take out. After that, you get the Shopping District Outskirts Map.
Check the upper level for items then continue along the path. More items are
nearby and enter the house after. At the end, you will get the Hollow Bastion
Restoration Committee Honorary Member card and the Blizzard Element.
Save your game and exit out. Head up to the high level and take the path at the
end to the Rampart Plaza.
You will end up fight more NoBody with Leon by your side only. In Proud Mode,
this can be pretty brutal. The Dusk are easy but the Samurai here can be pretty
annoying if you don't avoid their attaks often. Luckily, Leon does go berserk
here with his GunBlade. For the Samurai, you can also use the Reaction Command,
but it's a bit risky if you aren't fast enough. Keep it up and heal more often,
you will beat them and get the Fire Element.
More scene and you will get the Other Ansem Report 7. Back on the WorldMap, you
can go with the Asteroid Sweep or Star Dust Sweep. I am going with the lower
path which is the Star Dust Sweep. Start it up and go through the route with
the Gummi Ship.

After scene, you will be fighting more Heartless. Use Brave Form to take out
some of them, more scene. Save your game and exit out.
From the entrance hall, don't go up yet. Exit out to the courtyard for about 3
items. Now, go back in and take the stairs. There are 3 paths, the middle path,
left and right. Take the right path first.
Within Bell's Room, get the item, the Map and save your game. Now back track
down and there should be 2 more items at the hallway.
Back to the entrance hall, time to take the left path of the stairs. After, go
check the nearby for another item, back track your way for 2 more items. To the
left of the stairs here, there are 2 more items. Since you can't go through
the stairs because the statues, check the room that's blocked by a closet. Ok,
to move it, push it with Triangle at one side during her sleep. Afterward, go
in the door.
Enemy: Gate Guardian
More scene and time for a mini boss. If you want to risk it, you can just go up
and attack that door guardian. But, you can alwyas check out the side enemies
and try to build up your Drive Gauge. Once you can do Brave Form, get near that
door man and unleash it. Once you depleted his HPs, that's not it. There will
be a floating thingy, that's the focus. Attack it before it goes back to the
door guardian.
After, go through the door. There are an item and another Map here. Save your
game and back track. Back to the room where you foguht the mini boss, use the
crates and boxes to get up to the statues. Check with the clock that's nearby.
Go through this door after.
Here, you will need to walk along the path and light up the lanterns with your
KeyBlade. You will need to get rid of the crates for the last one. There are
also 2 more items around. After, nearby the hidden path, another item. Get it
and move on.
One more item on the way and to the next area. Couple more items and take the
door at the end of the hall. You will meet up with Beast and battle time.
Enemy: Beast
Triangle for Reaction Command, then attack. Repeat til you deplete all his HPs
and at the end, keep pressing Triangle for one last Reaction Command.
Afterward, Beast joins you. Besure to get the Mega Recipe in this room. Save
your game and back track to the entrance hall. Head to Bell's Room. Speak with
the closet here. Finally, back to the entrance hall and you can take the middle
path to the dance hall.
Enemy: Dark Stalker
More scene and time for the boss fight. It has two forms, so don't waste your
items yet. Remember, Sora and Beast can do their Co-Op move. LogOn and chase
after it. Do Reaction Command if applicable. If it disappears and you can't
LogOn, there is a chance that he's going to attack you with the chandelier. If
so, move away from the center of the battle field. If you see a mouth on the
floor, quickily jump away. Repeat til you take it out.
Second form, time to go all out with Brave Form. Now, Triangle here for the
Reaction Command is still important and do it when you can. LogOn and chase it
before your Drive Gague runs out. He can also mess with the chandelier, so go
keep moving and away from the center. Keep up your healings and you will beat
it eventually.
Afterward, more scenes and you will get the Cure Element. Back on the WorldMap.
Phantom Storm appears. Go through that, it leads to the Olympus Coliseum. But
for me, I will go through the Asteroid Sweep. It leads to The Land Of Dragon.

After scenes, Mulan joins the party. Check nearby for 3 items. Save your game
and move on. Continue on to speak with Captain Shang. More scene and clear the
Heartless. You will get the Map after. Speak with Captain Shang for 3 missions.
All 3 of them just have you to clear enemies, nothing tricky. You can get AP Up
at the end.
Afterward, Head through the bridge path. Get the items around here and head up
the mountain paths. Advance by breaking the rocks and look out for 4 items.
Continue on through the mountains.
Within the village, you will get another Map. Exit out the village, check the
nearby for a save point. Once you are ready, enter the cave to the right.
Within, 2 more items and more Heartless fight at the end with only Mulan with
you. The Assault Riders can be pretty tough, make sure you focus on them and
avoid their attacks.
After, back to the village. Save your game and head north to the mountains.
There are 2 more items before the top. At the top, Sora will need to battle an
army of Heartless by himself. LogOn and start slashing like crazy. Soon, this
will be over.
Afterward, time to back track to the checkpoint. The door is now opened. Once
you are ready, go through it. First up, more Heartless. Just do Sora & Mulan's
Co-Op move.
After, continue on up toward the palace. It's boss time.
Enemy: Shan Yu
LogOn on and chase him, attack when you can. Sora and Mulan's Co-Op move works
really well here. You shouldn't have much trouble here if you watch out for his
attacks.
Afterward, you will get the Hidden Dragon. You will also be taken back to the
Hollow Bastion automatically.

More scene and save your game. Speak with Donald. Once you're in 100 Acre Wood,
head into the near location.
Get the 2 items and the Map, speak with Pooh. After, time for more Heartless.
After, back into the 100 Acre Wood. Speak with Pooh again. After more scenes,
you will get the Base Ball Charm that allows you to summon Chicken Little.
Back on the WorldMap, go through the Phantom Storm if you haven't done so. That
leads to the next location.

Speak with Megara. Take the path that's near her. Continue on til you see some
XIII Kikan member runs across.
Moving on, by the intersection, take both paths for few items. Before the
entrance to the next area, there is also another item nearby.
Next, another item and a Map. Save your game and move on through the opening.
Continue on til you meet with Auron and battle time.
Enemy: Hades
You can't damage him since he's on fire the whole time. Just do few slashes and
the battle will end.
After, Auron joins the party. You will encount Hades again and you are to run
away from him. However, you still need to clear the side enemies before you can
back track out. Just use Auron and Sora's Co-Op move.
Next, save your game and back track all the way. You will encount another boss
in the end.
Enemy: Cerberus
You only got Auron in this battle, but that's more than enough. Aside from you
jumping up and slash the heads, the most usual move here is Sora and Auron's Co
Op move. If Cerberus catches you, just prepare for some Triangle pressing to
knock Cerberus down. After that, just continue on the slashing. Watch out for
your HPs though, the battle still takes some times.
Aferward, Auron leaves the party. Save your game and you can now exit out here
from the north path. Now, you will be at the Coliseum. Head north and you will
be in the lobby. You will get the Map of this area.
Head into the ring to meet Phil. Do the 2 trainings from him. Basically just
keep hitting the balls to get Przie Balls, meet the required number of Balls to
clear.
After, speak with Hercules. Back to the UnderWorld. Save your game after and
get the near item. Continue on.
For the 2 items at the other high end, you will need to go to the next area(and
there should be a path that leads to them). Anyway, go down to the lower level,
get the item and move on to the next area.
Get the 3 items around and move on down. On the way, there is another item. At
the next area, get an item nearby, go up. Another item at the corner before the
gate. Lastly, you will encount another member.
Enemy: Demyx
This is pretty hard on Proud Mode. It's not that the enemies are hard, because
his water clones don't do much. The thing is you need to clear 100 of them
before the time limit. Now, the trick, use Reaction as much as possible. Other
wise, you won't make it.
After, you get the Olympus Stone and Other Ansem Report 5. After, enter that
one last room. Get the 2 items and the Map. Save your game and check the stone.
Step into the center and transfer to another area. It's fight time.
Enemy: Pete
Just Drive into Brave Form and start taking the enemies, as well as Pete. This
shouldn't be hard at all.
After more scene, against Pete again with Hercules helping you. Just get close
and start slashing him. Watch out for the Reaction Command and use it to break
his shield.
Lastly, save your game and back to the Coliseum. More scenes and time for one
last battle.
Enemy: Hydra
When you can reach for the head, keep attacking it and use the Reaction when
applicable. When his head digs into the ground, there will be more heads coming
out. Take each one out and use Reaction near them.
When his heads go back up, pick a head and attack. Wait for the chance for a
Reaction with the Pegasus. Doing that can inflict TONS of damage on it.
Afterward, you will get the Hero's Crest. Out on the WorldMap, head to that
Disney Castle.

Continue on to the courtyard. Explore around here for few items, then go inside
from the door by a corner. Continue on to the library.
Get the Torned Page at the corner and save your game. Speak with Minnie Mouse.
After, you will get the Map. Back to the hall with Minnie. Guide her to the
door at half way of the hall. Use the Reaction near there for more scene. Enter
the door after.
Within, call her and use the Co-Op move Holy. This way, it's slow but it's very
steady. Once you and Minnie are near the throne, use Holy again for more scene.
Use the save point at the final room to get back to the WorldMap.
Head to Hollow Bastion for more scenes. Enter through that door.

One item and a Map around, save your game. Take the path near the save point.
Get the 2 items and speak with Pete. Battle time.
Enemy: Pete
Just get close and attack. If he's running around, use the Reaction Command.
Afterward, you have 4 doors to take. Just go in each one of them and clear the
Heartless, mostly. After, you will get the Map. Save your game and chase after
those two Petes. It's battle time.
Enemy: Pete
You can't get to him. He will start throwing stuff at you, just Reaction them
back to hit him. Once you stun him, he will be by the shore. Near the anchor,
use the Reaction Command. You can get close to the cage. Start attacking it.
When you see another Reaction, keep pressing Triangle so you can hang on more.
Once you break the cage, that ends the battle.
After, get the items here first, then chase after Pete. Get near the 2 Petes.
It's battle time again.
Enemy: Pete
Start Brave Form, LogOn and keep attcking him. That's about it, keep on the
attacks til the end. Lots of his attacks are ground based and he likes to jump,
so you can also do in-air combo.
In the end, you get the Monochrome and Wisdom Form afterward.
(Wisdom Form gets exp as you DEFEAT an enemy.)
Back on the WorldMap, you should go check out the Olympus Coliseum. You can go
talk with Phil for trainings, and then head to the UnderWorld. You can now go
in the UnderWorld Coliseum. If you want to enter the Pain&Panic Cup, speak with
Panic. The last fight in that Cup is Leon+Yuffie.
Moving on, as you can see, there are 2 more locations. Like before, you'll have
to go through the Floating Island and Splash Island with the Gummi Ship. I am
going with Floating Island. That leads to Port Royal. The other one leads you
to Atlantica.
