Completed the Walkthrough. This Game Guide is complete, but I may add a
few more sections in further updates.

II. USING THIS GUIDE

Within this Game Guide, each new section for the Walkthrough will be spaced
out. For example, "Agrabah" will be written as "A g r a b a h". You will be
able to skip all the stuff in between and head straight for this section if
you do the following.

INTERNET EXPLORER / MOZILLA FIREFOX USERS

= Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your
screen.

= Select 'Find, or simply hold Ctrl, then hit the F Key.

= Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having
difficulties with, then select 'Find'.

NETSCAPE USERS

= Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your
screen.

= Select 'Find in This Page', or simply hit Ctrl, then the
F Key.

= Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having
difficulties with, then select 'Find'.

Basically, this means that when you want to head straight to one section in
particular, such as "Agrabah", you would type "A g r a b a h" in the search
parameters, then select 'Find Next'.

Remember, because of the game mechanics for Kingdom Hearts, there will be a
few occasions where you will be visiting the same place more than once. For
example, when returning to the Olympus Coliseum for the second time, you'll
type "O l y m p u s C o l i s e u m", and then press 'Find' twice, rather
than once.

If the location has more than one word, such a "Twilight Town", or "Olympus
Coliseum", add the spaces between the letters as usual, and then add three
spaces between the word. This is much less confusing than it sounds. Now go
have some fun playing Kingdom Hearts.

III. WALKTHROUGH

Start Kingdom Hearts II by selecting 'New Game'. You will then be prompted
to select a mode of difficulty. Selecting one mode over another increases
the difficulty of enemy encounters. There are three selections you will be
able to choose from.

O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O     O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O

Beginner Mode is recommended to players that are new to the Kingdom Hearts
series, or to those who are not yet familiar with the mechanics to Kingdom
Hearts II. It doesn't present much of a challenge, so you can play through
the story with ease.

Standard Mode is recommended to players that are familiar with the Kingdom
Hearts series, and are looking for the same kind of challenge the original
Kingdom Hearts presented.

Proud Mode is recommended to players that are hardcore, and looking for an
interesting challenge. This isn't recommended to people who are unfamiliar
with the Kingdom Hearts mechanics.

Following the cutscene, head towards the Armor Shop. This leads you through
a series of tutorials designed to set you up with the game mechanics. It'll
last about three to five hours before Sora's story begins. Read through the
on-screen instruction, as they will inform you of many helpful features for
Kingdom Hearts II.

Following the events of several tutorials and surprise characters, a fight
with Seifer arises in the Sandlot.

This battle is designed to act as a tutorial, assisting you through the

The blue gauge displays your current Magic Points (MP). You will not be
able to cast magic-related abilities when you run out of mana. Approach
your target and attack. Your Lock-On command remains untouched, so keep
it active.

You'll be unable to inflict any damage on the Dusk right now, so start a
series of attacks until the battle interrupts with a cutscene. This will
eventually lead you to the new wielder of the Keyblade.

This battle introduces you to the Trigger Command. It's a green triangle
which forms around the enemy. This is an important feature you will want
to keep a note of, as it is used to function several commands throughout
Kingdom Hearts II.

Use Reversal as it displays on-screen. It will act similiar to the Dodge
Roll command. Use this to avoid several of the Dusk's attacks. After you
have the hang of this, continue attacking the Dusk until you've defeated
it.

Approach and access the nearby Save Point to initiate a cutscene. Following
the cutscene, you will arrive in the back alley. Head over to Market Street
to start a cutscene. Afterwards, you'll need to start making some Munny, so
examine the nearby 'Help Wanted' bulletin.

There's two Help Wanted bulletins in Twilight Town. You will find the first
in Market Square. It consists of several easy objectives that will earn you
up to 50 Munny.

The second Help Wanted bulletin is in the Tram Common. This consist of more
advanced objectives which can reward up to 100 Munny. Since they're quite a
time-consuming effort, the Market Square objectives will provide more Munny.

Each time you strike at the cargo, you will push it a short distance up
the hill. Strike the cargo once to push it a short distance, and strike
it three times to push it a much greater distance. The idea is that you
need to strike the cargo from behind. If the cargo curves after you hit
it, you are going to lose a small amount of time.

There are times when you hit the cargo, causing it to soar into the air
and eventually land. When it does this, you want to strike it the cargo

You're back in the Usual Spot. Exit to the back alley, and then head to the
Market Square. Following the cutscene, you will be battling through several
Dusks once again. You cannot physically harm the Dusks just yet.

For now, start attacking the Dusks until you regain control of the Keyblade
once again. Use the Reversal command to avoid taking any unnecessary damage.
After a few moments, the battle comes to an end.

STATION OF SERENITY

Similar to the intro the Kingdom Hearts, you are now faced to choose either
the Sword, the Shield, or the Staff. Your selection effects how Sora levels
up in Kingdom Hearts II.

The Sword Raises Strength. Increases Attack Power.

The Staff Raises Intellect. Increases Mana and Magic Power.

The Shield Raises Defense. Increases Attack Reduction.

After your selection, you are faced to battle three Dusks. You will receive
the Keyblade at the beginning of the battle. A weapon capable of destroying
the Heartles and the Nobodies. Remember to use the Reversal command, as the
ability will definitely come in handy. After the battle, open the chest for
a Potion, then head to the mysterious door to the Station of Calling.

STATION OF CALLING

Proceed up the path through a series of platforms, battling even more Dusks.
Open the chest on the second platform to obtain a Potion, and then continue
to the third platform battling more Dusks along the way. Head to the nearby
door to continue to the next platform.

The Twilight Thorn has one of eight attacks. You'll be able to counter
about four of these attacks. You need to focus on the triangle command.
I cannot stress enough how important this is.

When the Twilight Thorn begins to charge up, run after it's head, then
start attacking. Use a Potion when necessary, as this battle is very
difficult. When the screen transitions white, Roxas is held in place
in place, unable to act. This is where you will need to focus on the
triangle commands. Press triangle once to perform a Key Counter. Press
it again once the Twilight Thorn throws you in the air to counter with
Lunarsault. The platform will then start to tilt.

Wait for the triangle command to appear, and then counter-attack using
Break Raid. You need to do this only when it prompts you to do so, or
your counter-attack will not work. After the Twilight Thron begins to
form a circular shape, use the Reversal Command to reach it's head. It
is the only way to attack the Twilight Thorn in this form. Destroy the
Nobodies for HP Balls. Repeat this process until you've eliminated the
Twilight Thorn.

From the Station Heights, enter the Station Plaza, and then continue to the
Station Entrance to initiate a cutscene. Continue down the stairs to Sunset
Terrace, and then up the stairs to the right. Head along the tram tracks to
the other side.

Face towards the tunnel on your right, then cross the nearby bridge on your
left. Follow the alley up the stairs and to the left. Open the chest for a
Potion. Continue through the alley behind you to reach Sunset Hill. Proceed
to the top of the hill and investigate the bag. Start pressing the triangle
button continuously until the bag runs out of stamina. Head back to Sunset
Terrace, and down the ramp you originally came up. Open the treasure chest
to obtain a Hi-Potion, then cross the bridge and proceed through the tunnel
on your left.

Here you will encounter Vivi, which eventually turns into three Vivis. This
doesn't present much of a problem, just follow the same strategy you used
earlier, and don't let them outnumber you. Put your back against a wall, as
each time you defeat a Vivi, another one will spawn. The good news is you
only have to strike them once to eliminate a Vivi.

Return to the entrance of Sunset Terrace / Sunset Station, and proceed down
the ramp, rather than up the stairs. Open the treasure chest that's against
the wall to obtain a Potion, and proceed along the path. This will take you
back to the tram tracks.

Head to your left to reach the end of the tram tracks, and then head to the
left once again. Investigate the waterfall on your right. This will start a
battle against Shadow Roaxas. He attacks with the same attacks as you. This
shouldn't be a problem if you're familiar with your own attack pattern. Now
head back to the entrance of Sunset Hill to initiate a cutscene.

Following the cutscene, you will be back at Central Station. Proceed to the

Axel is a bit quicker this time. Not only this, you're also enclosed in
a small area surrounded by fire. So don't think of running. Axel can be
a little more difficult this time.

See, Axel can withstand the fire. You can't. This means that you should
avoid getting too close to the wall of fire. Axel will be frequently
jumping in and out of the surrounding wall of fire, dealing a shockwave
that almost surrounds the entire area.

This attack is somewhat tricky to avoid, but you can see where Axel is
caoming out next by placing a target lock on him. Remember to keep the
trigger command button ready, as you'll only have a moment to press it
before Axel delivers his attack.

Your counter-attack is known as Burst Edge. The attack strikes at Axel
several times, rendering him briefly unable to act. This battle should
not bee too difficult, as you will not have two Keyblades.

"Get back!"
Axel will rush around and scorch you with a quite fiery
attack.

Axel shouldn't be too difficult. Just make sure you are ready with the
trigger command, and strike at him whenever you can.

Continue through the room, opposite of where you entered. Open the treasure
chest to obtain a Hi-Potion. Head into the next room to initiate a cutscene.
Following the cutscene, you will begin the main storyline to Kingdom Hearts
II. You'll probably be asking the same question as I am. "WTF!? Is that the
same voice actor who played Sora in the original Kingdom Hearts?". Yep. Now
return outside the Old Mansion, then back to Twilight Town.

Following the cutscene, you'll be back at Central Station. Here you will be
thrown into a battle. Battle through all the enemies until the battle comes
to an abrupt halt. Once inside the station, speak to Donald and Goody after
you are prepared to leave.

Open the three nearby treasure chests to obtain a Potion, Hi-Potion, and an
Ether. Approach the tower to initiate a cutscene. Following the cutscene,
defeat all of the Heartless. Once the Heartless have been defeated, you'll
be inside the tower.

Open the treasure chest next to the door to obtain an Ether. You can find a
second treasure chest to the left of the Save Point. Open it to receive a
Mythril Shard. Continue up the staircase defeating the Heartless along the
way. Once on the second level, defeat the Heartless, then continue through
the green door. Ascend the stairs to reach the third floor.

Defeat all of the Heartless, and then continue through the brown door. Head
up the staircase to reach the next floor. Here you will encounter Yed Sid.
Open the treasure chest up here to obtain the Tower Map. When you are ready,
read through the book on the table. After reading through the book, return
to Yed Sid, speak to him, and select 'Actually...' to learn more about the
Heartless, the Dusks, and the Nobodies.

Following the cutscene, continue through the green door. Speak with the Red
Fairy to change your outfit and initiate a cutscene. Before you leave this
room, obtain the Mythril Shard from the treasure chest, on the left side of
the green door.

Return through the green door to speak to Yen Sid. Once you have arrived in
your Gummi Ship, fly towards Hollow Bastion.

Hollow Bastion has changed quite a bit since you last came here. Start down
the stairs, and then up the stairs on the other side. Go past the Synthesis
Shop, and speak to Uncle Scrooge on your left.

Proceed down the stairs to initiate a cutscene. Defeat all of the Dusks and
remember to use the Reversal command to your advantage. After the battle,
proceed through the alleyway and open the chest to obtain a Hi-Potion. It's
next to the entrance to Merlin's House, near a large wooden door.

After the cutscene, return to the Borough, and then head to the right. Open
the treasure chest to the right containing a Mythril Shard. It's before the
staircase on the right-hand side. Continue up the staircase, then along the
upper walkway. You will find three treasure chests up here. The first is on
the left-hand side containing a Drive Recovery. The second can be found next
to the Bailey on the right-hand side containing a Mythril Shard. You can get
to the third treasure chest by taking a small ledge at the top of the stairs,
next to the red crane containing an AP Boost.

Upon entering the Bailey, you are forced to battle through several Nobodies
that all want to see you dead. You'll need to defeat them as quickly as you
can. Here is the catch, you can't allow the Nobodies to destroy the gate.
Once the battle has finished, you will return to the Gummi Ship with Hollow
Bastion now locked.

First, you are going to need to select a member for your party. Mulan needs
to be in your party, leaving you with either Donald or Goofy and your third
party member. Continue down the path to the Encampment.

Approach the group at the back of the Encampment, and get ready to battle a
bunch of Heartless. Here you'll be introduced to a new feature known as the
Morale Gauge. It plays a vital role in the Land of Dragons, and you'll need
to keep it at a sufficient amount. Your morale gauge will increase when you
defeat enemies quickly, and collect orbs that drop. You will lose morale if
your party suffers too much damage, or you take too long to defeat an enemy.

After the battle you will need to speak to Fa Zhou. You must now select one
of three objectives.

Speak to Fa Zhou after completing all three objectives. Before you continue
to the Checkpoint, return to the Bamboo Grove to find three treasure chests
containing a Hi-Potion, Mythril Shard, and an Ether. Exit to the encampment,
and then continue to the Checkpoint.

Follow the path to the right and open the treasure chest to the side of the
slope to obtain a Mythril Shard. Return to the river and locate a treasure
chest on the far right-hand side containing a Hi-Potion. Continue along the
river to the cart on the right. Head up the hill to initiate a cutscene. At
the top you will be forced to battle Nightwalkers, Assault Riders, Soldiers,
and Shadows.

Don't let the Heartless distract you from what is at hand. You may notice a
lot of nearby boulders. Approach these with or without the Heartless and
perform the Rockshatter attack to clear a path along the Mountain Trail. If
you still have enough morale, you will find several treasure chests in this
area.

The first contains a Hi-Potion and can be found near the cliffside. Another
containing a Mythril Shard can be found behind you, then up the path to the
right. Proceed along this upper surface until it slopes down to the surface
below. Continue to your left, and then to the surface above to see two more
treasure chests containing an Ether and a Recovery Recipe.

Otherwise, if you are looking to avoid these treasure chests, you'll have a
chance to return to these later. Follow the path along the mountain trail
to reach one more set of boulders. Destroy the boulders and you'll then go
to the village above.

Access the Save Point on the other side of the village, then turn around to
see the cave in the distance. Proceed inside the cave. There is a Hi-Potion
in the nearby treasure chest next to the cart.

There is a second nearby cart that can be destroyed to reveal a chest which
contains an AP Boost. Continue through the cave to initiate a cutscene. The
cutscene then leads to a battle through several Heartless. You can make the
battle much easier by defeating the Assault Riders first.

After the battle, return to the village to initiate a cutscene. Continue up
the ridge to find two treasure chests. The one near the cliffside contains
a Hi-Potion, and the one behind the nearby carts contains an AP Boost. Use
the wind swirling nearby to move towards the steep trail. Push the triangle
button to soar into the next area where Sora must battle through what might
seem like an unlimited supply of Rapid Thrusters and Bolt Towers. You don't
need to defeat them all, just hold out a short amount of time. Head back to
the ridge to initiate a cutscene.

Return to the village, and then backtrack to the Checkpoint, outside of the
encampment at the bottom of the mountain trail. Follow the path towards the
Imperial City. Following the cutscene, defeat the Heartless, then head into
the palace gates, where you will encounter Shan-Yu.

Now may be as good a time as any to transform into Valor Form. You need
to focus on two objectives in this battle. First, you need to guard the
palace gates. Second, you will need to defeat Shan-Yu.

Focus on the trigger commands in this battle. If you clash swords, you
need to rapidly press the triangle button, and then again to perform a
Takedown attack.

There will be several orbs dropping throughout the battle. If you need
to restore a partial amount of the gate's stability, collect the orbs.
This isn't all you need to worry about, as Shan-Yu's bird will become
somewhat problematic as it carries you several feet away from the area
in which you need to be.

I would recommend focusing on collecting the orbs. After the stability
of the gate reaches sufficient a sufficient level, return to Shan-Yu
and start attacking. When your swords clash once again, start rapidly
pressing the triangle button until you've performed a Takedown again.

At this time, return to collecting the orbs, restoring the palace gate
once again. Shan-Yu is a little too quick to keep up to, so it isn't a
wise decision to simply ignore the palace gate. Once Shan-Yu is almost
defeated, he will enter a second phase making it almost impossible for
any attack to hit him. At this point, Shan-Yu starts charging around a
lot, and also becomes a lot stronger. Fortunately, the Heartless don't
seem to attack the gate anymore, so now you will be able to focus more
on Shan-Yu.

and the one on the left contains a Mythril Shard. Continue down the hall to
a staircase on the right.

There are three treasure chests near the staircase. The one before contains
a Drive Recovery, while the one next to the candles contains a Tent. You'll

Shard. Return to the Entrance Hall, then head back down the stairs to reach

In here are two treasure chests. The chest in the corner contains a Mythril
Shard, while the one next to Belle's bed holds the Castle Map. Proceed into
the East Hall, and then continue down the hall. Open the chest on your left
near the entrance to Belle's Room.

There is a second chest further down the hall in the corner that contains a
Hi-Potion. Proceed into the Entrance Hall, then continue down the stairs to
the landing below. Proceed up the stairs and return to the West Hall. After
the cutscene, examine the odd dresser on the opposite side of the stairs to
reveal a hidden doorway.

The dresser is going to be somewhat... Pushy? Approach the dresser and push
the triangle button rapidly until you've noticed the wardrobe has woken up.
Once the wardrobe has woken up, back off before attempting to move it again.
Enter into the Undercroft to initiate a cutscene.

Continue through the door to initiate a cutscene. Before exiting through to
the West Hall, open the treasure chests in the Undercroft to obtain an AP
Boost and the Basement Map. Return to the previous room and use the crates
to reach the upper balcony.

The bar in the upper-left corner shows how much strength Cogsworth has left
before he lets go of the handle. If this happens then you'll need to start
over. However, you can also return to Cogsworth to use the Reaction Command.
This restores the bar in the upper-left corner.

Apprach Lumiere to light the second candle, and then continue down the hall,
past the crates to reach the third candle. Head further down the hall, then
up the stairs to reach the surface above. Open the two nearby chest to find
a Hi-Potion and Mythril Shard.

Turn around and head towards the several nearby crates. Destroy a couple of
them, and then light the fourth torch. Following the cutscene, continue up
the stairs to the West Hall.

From the West Hall, continue up the stairs to the West Wing. Open the chest
in front of you to obtain a Tent, then head up the stairs. Obtain a Mythril
Shard from the chest on the right, then continue to the end of the hall and
through the door to initiate a cutscene.

This battle is by no means easy. It has one of several attacks that is
somewhat difficult to explain.

First, it has an electric attack similar to Hades' Fire Spin attack in
the original Kingdom Hearts. The only way you can avoid this attack is
by following the direction it's spinning. It will try to suck you into
the darkness, but then spit you back out.

It will hide quite often, so you'll constantly be pressing the Lock-On
command. At some point in this battle, the ballroom will start filling
with tentacles. Get to the center of the room and quickly look for the
one tentacle that is glowing with dark energy.

Use the Reaction command when it prompts to do so, and you'll then see
your target once again. Don't worry about using the Drive command. The
Shadow Stalker will disappear too quickly for it to be of any use. The
Shadow Stalker eventually transforms into the Dark Thorn.

Similar to the Stealth Sneak, the Shadow Stalker will constnatly have
it's invisibility ability equipped. Use the Reaction commands as they
become available to perform powerful counter-attacks.

If it manages to grab on to you while stealthed, use the nearby column
to performs the Slingshot counter-attack. This is the form where you
can use the Drive "Valor Form" command to deliver your powerful blows
at the Dark Thorn.

When we last visited 100 Acre Woods, Sora obtained a mysterious book with a
mysterious power, but the book was too beat up to do any good. Several of
the pages were also missing. He took the book to Merlin's House, restoring
each page by collecting them from several different worlds. After the book
was restored, Sora eventually befriended a group of close friends. Piglet,
Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Roo, and Pooh.

Approach Donald to be taken to the 100 Acre Wood. Once inside, Pooh's House
will become available for you to explore. Following the cutscene, talk to
Pooh and you will be thrown out of the book to Merlin's House. You will now
have to defeat several Heartless before you're taken back to the 100 Acre
Wood.

Return to Pooh Bear's House and speak to Pooh. After the cutscene, you will
return to Merlin's House in Hollow Bastion. After the cutscene, you will be
back on your Gummi Ship. Your next destination is the Phantom Storm.

Your next destination is to the Underworld Entrance of the Coliseum. After
speaking with Megara, proceed through the door behind her to the Cave of
the Dead. Enter through the tunnel on the other side of the cave to start
a cutscene.

Proceed down the tunnel following the Organization member. You will find a
higher surface on your left holding a treasure chest. Open the chest for a
Mythril Shard, then continue down the tunnel to your left. Open the nearby
treasure chest on your left to obtain an Ether.

Proceed further down the tunnel and open the treasure chest on your left to
obtain an AP Boost. Head back to the beginning of this tunnel where a chest
holding a Mythril Shard was previously found.

Head down the ramp, and then continue through the tunnel to your left. Open
the treasure chest on your left, and then continue further down the tunnel,
keeping to your right. This will take you to a cave leading you to the next
area. Before entering the next area, open the treasure chest on the left to
receive a Mythril Stone.

Continue to the next area to initiate a cutscene. Follow the cutscene, head
to your right and open the nearby treasure chest to obtain the Underworld
Map. Access the Save Point, and then venture into the next room to initiate
a cutscene.

Once in the Valley of the Dead, head along the path and enter the next area
to encounter Hades.

Following the battle, exit the Valley of the Dead, ignoring all the attacks

Hades will lock you in a few enclosed areas to keep you from making a clean
exit. Remember to use the Reaction command when it becomes available. After
fighting for what may seem like an eternity, the path opens.

Following the cutscene, continue upstream through the river on the left and
you'll come to a treasure chest. Open it to obtain a Mythril Shard. Head up
the stairs to the next area to initiate a cutscne. Proceed through the next
area battling the several Heartless along the way until you have arrived in

you'll be going underneath, rather than over top. Jump off the ledge to the

can find a second chest further along the corridor which contains a Mythril

There are two parts to this battle. The first part consists of keeping
Pete and the Heartless away from Megara. First, once you've saved Meg
from the Heartless, start attacking at Pete until he creates a shield,
and says, "Pete's invincible!".

He means exactly what he says. He cannot be harmed while the shield is
active. He will also summon more Heartless at that time which you must
defeat the protect Megara.

You won't need to defeat Pete at this time. You will just need to keep
the Heartless away until the battle concludes with an interruption. At
that point, you will enter the cave once again, before returning up to
Hercules and Pete.

This next part will be a timed battle. You will have about two minutes
to defeat Pete before the cave collapses, so don't worry about all the
Heartless in the area. Attack Pete alongside Hercules with the trigger
commands as your advantage.

If time or health is running short, switch to Valor Form, or have Herc

the ground. At that point, approach each of Hydra's heads and perform
Vanquish. At some point, Phil will start repeatedly shouting, "Get up
on the Hydra's back!". Approach the Hydra, and then jump on it's back.
Perform the Reaction command "Phil One-Two", and then "Urninator". The
attack renders all three of the Hydra's heads stunned, allowing you to
attack breifly before casting Vanquish.

Once a head has been Vanquished, quickly move to the next and Vanquish
it. Once all three heads have been Vanquished, the Hyrdra will roar up
from the ground and begin attacking you once again. At some point, the
Reaction command will show as "Pegasus Run".

At this point, Pegasus will fly you around each of Hydra's heads, then
drop you off. During this time, you can get one successful attack each
time Pegasus approaches one of the Hydra's heads. After Hydra runs low
on health, it will begins slamming several of it's heads down onto the
ground, casting several dark orbs in your direction. Avoid the Hydra's
attacks and dark orbs at that time until it settles down, allowing you
to strike at it once again.

Once it reaches a sliver of health, you need to attack it once more to

Your next destination is the Disney Castle behind Hollow Bastion. Go up the
stairs and enter through the door on your left to initiate a cutscene. Once
the cutscene finishes, defeat all the Heartless in the area and open up the
treasure chests found on top of several hedges to obtain a Mythril Stone, a
Mythril Shard, an AP Boost, another Mythril Shard, and an Ether. You'll see
two treasure chests near the central castle-shaped hedge.

Open the chest on the ground to obtain a Hi-Potion, then the one on top for
a Star Recipe. Continue through the door on the side wall to the Colonnade,
and then head up the stairs. Battle through the several Heartless to reach
the Library at the end of the corridor. Once inside, speak to Minnie. After
the cutscene, open the treasure chest next to the large door to receive the
Torn Pages, and then return to the Colonnade.

You need to defeat the Heartless in this area while protecting Minnie. This
is a battle you will be fighting alone. Call Minnie once it's safe, and use
her "Faith" Reaction command to create a wide area of effect to destroy the
Heartless nearby. Once you reach the door with a purple aura on the left, a
Reaction command will appear by Minnie. Push the triangle button to open up
the door. Continue into the Audience Chamber to initiate a cutscene. You'll
then have to defeat the Heartless while heading to the throne.

Protect the Queen and use your Drive command if needed. The easiest method
of doing this is to move to a large group of Heartless, call over Minnie,
and then use the Reaction command to push the Heartless away. After you've
reached the throne, perform Minnie's "Faith" Reaction command. This should
conclude the battle. Continue to the Cornerstone of Light, and then access
the Save Point to return to the Gummi Ship.

Head back to Hollow Bastion and speak to Merlin to initiate a cutscene. The
cutscene leads you back to the Disney Castle, where a door will soon appear.
Enter through the door to enter the Timeless River.

After the battle, a cutscene begins and boy will you see deja-vous. You are
now prompted to go through several doors to defeat the Heartless. The first
is a construction zone through the door on the far left. Notice the "Mayhem
Gauge" in the upper-left corner of your screen. You will need to defeat all
of the Heartless before that bar becomes maxed out. Continue through to the
second door from the left to enter Smallville. (Just kidding.)

Your second objective is to protect the village from the Heartless. You'll
want to keep track of the "Mayhem Gauge" in the upper left-hand corner. If
it becomes maxed out, you're finished. You can use the cannon tower in the
central part of the village should this battle be too overwhelming.

Once you have returned to Cornerstone Hill, enter through the door that is
third from the right. You will have two enemies in this area of town. Your
first target are the flames heading towards the apartment, while the other
is the Heartless. Keep an eye on the "Mayhem Gauge" in the upper left-hand
corner, as it must not be maxed out.

Enter through the fourth and final door to enter the Mouse House. There are
objectives within this room, and the "Mayhem Gauge" will prompt you as soon
as the objective is in danger. You need to defeat the Heartless, while also
defending Mickey's furniture.

After the cutscene, head to the Waterway to initiate a cutscene. You'll now
be thrown into a battle against the real Pete. You shouldn't have that much
trouble with this battle, simply wait for a boulder to come towards you and
press the triangle button when the Reaction command appear. Once you've hit
Pete enough times, the steamboat will swing over to the docks. Approach the
steamboat quickly and press the triangle button to grab onto the cage. This
isn't as easy as it sounds, as the Heartless attempt to pull you off of the
crane. At that point, press the triangle button when it prompts to do so to
remain on the crane.

Once Pete regains conciousness, repeat the same process until the cage has
been destroyed. Head towards the Wharf and approach Pete to start a battle.

Cross the bridge and enter the village to encounter Heartless, and two more
characters from PotC. In Port Royale, there will be times where you'll have
to battle pirates, but because of their curse, you can only attack a pirate
while it's in the moonlight. This basically means that each time you battle
a cursed pirate, you must pull it out into the moonlight to defeat it.

Enter the alley on your right, then destroy the crates on each side of the
alley. The crates on the right will reveal a treasure chest containing an
AP Boost, while the crates on the left will reveal a second alley. Destroy
the crates on the left and enter into the second alley.

Open the treasure chest on your right to obtain an Ether. Next, destroy the
crates against the wall to reveal a treasure chest containing a Mythril Gem.
Exit to the street, and then continue to the harbor. Following the cutscene,
speak to Will when you are ready to leave.

Once aboard the Interceptor, speak to Jack before setting off. Select 'The
Black Pearl' on the World Map, and get ready to battle. After the battle,
you will arrive on the Isla De Muerta.

Continue towards the cave entrance and open the two treasure chests in this
area to obtain an Ether and Mythril Shard. Enter into the cave to intiate a
cutscene. After the cutscene, lure the pirates into the moonlight, and then
start attacking them. You need to hold them off for one minute. Remember to
use the Reaction commands as they become available.

Following the battle, speak to Will and return to Port Royal. Following the
cutscene, you'll start a battle.

Ambush! You'll be thrown into a battle once you have entered Agrabah. After
the battle, exit the Peddler's Shop and head up the staircase to a treasure
chest that contains a Hi-Potion. Open the other chest for a Mythril Shard.

Continue along the balcony, and then around the corner to a second treasure
chest against the wall to obtain a Driver Recovery. Jump to the the balcony
on your left and continue around the corner to a chest containing a Mythril
Shard.

Jump down below to the left and open the chest to receive an AP Boost. Head
to the upper platform and jump down the other side. Jump onto the platform
against the wall to the left, then to the upper ledge. Open the chest for a
Mega-Ether.

Head back to where Iago is flying around and head through the alley towards
the Palace. Following the cutscene, return to the Peddler's Shop. Return to
the staircase beside the Peddler's Shop, head up the stairs, and then enter
the Bazaar on your left.

Head down the stairs, and then towards the wooden door in the distance. You
can find to treasure chests to the left that contain a Mythril Shard, and
an AP Boost. Open the chest on the right of the wooden door to obtain a Hi-
Potion, and then continue through the wooden door to reach the Palace Walls.

Open the two nearby chests to obtain a Skill Ring and a Mythril Stone, then
exit into the desert to initiate a cutscene. Following the cutscene, open
the two treasure chests on both sides of the Cave of Wonders to receive a
Drive Recovery and a Mythril Shard, then enter inside the Cave of Wonders.
Once inside, open the several treasure chests in this area to receive a Hi-
Potion, Mythril Shard, AP Boost, and a Mythril Stone, and then continue to
the Stone Guardians in the next room.

Examine the statue in this room to initiate a cutscene. After the cutscene,
lead Abu towards the statue by jumping over a wave, then calling on Abu to
place the gem into the statue. Once Abu reaches the statue, you'll see the
Reaction command. Press the triangle button quickly to end the event. Next,
enter the Chasm of Challenges and examine the pedestal.

Bet Pete is getting pretty annoying by now, Hmm? That means he's doing
a good job working on the dark side. The Volcanic Lord creates several
hotspots on the ground, while the Blizzard Lord will create pillars of
ice, so watch where you stand.

Once you deal enough damage to the Volcanic and Blizzard Lord, they'll
despawn and create several small versions of themselves. Remember, the
Reaction commands can be used to send one of these enemies against the
other. Fire is weak against Ice, and Ice is weak against Fire. This is
a strategy you can use to your advantage.

Otherwise, both the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord are painfully easy,

The Hostile Program isn't that threatening, and is quite simple. You'll

Once you've collected enough clusters, use the 'Freeze' command to stop

Once the Hostile Program has taken enough damage, it'll unleashe a few
new attacks. First, it'll charge around the room several times, so get
to the center of this room until it settles down. The second attack is

Similar to Axel, Demyx uses abilities focused on the elements, so watch

If you get too close to him, pillars of water will start to form. When

Following the cutscene, Goofy leaves your party. Battle through the several
Heartless with Yuffie at your side. Donald will not be helping you out. The
magical field will disperse allowing you to enter the next area. Defeat the
Heartless with Leon at your side. Yuffie will not be helping you out. After
the battle, continue to the next area where more Heartless await. You'll be
battling at Tifa's side.

The magical field will dispese allowing you to venture deeper into the area.
You have one more battle against the Heartless with the help of Cloud. Once
the Heartless have been defeated, head into the cave to initiate a cutscene.
Open the treasure chests in this area to receive an Elixir, AP Boost, Great
Maw Map, and Torn Pages.

Exit outside the cave to initiate a cutscene. Here comes one of the hardest
challenges of Kingdom Hearts II.

This battle is quite long, and will not end until you have defeated all
the Heartless in the area. There are 1000 Heartless in total. You'll be
battling against the Heartless alone. You'll need to focus on using the
Reaction commands, Limits, and Drive commands. Abilities such as Rising
Sun and Snag / Sparkle Ray will definitely help.

The battle is actually quite simple. The Reaction commands will do most
of the work, and as Donald said earlier, "Defeat all the Heartless when
you're alone by using the enemies as your strength."

If you are finding this battle too difficult, you've probably rushed at
levelling. Which means you aren't ready to do this yet.

If you're looking to get this battle over with quickly, use Sparkle Ray
to remove large groups from the area. You can pretty much just continue
tapping the triangle button until the Heartless have been defeated.

This man in black holds the same weapon that Riku held in the original
Kingdom Hearts, but that doesn't mean it's Riku. He's not as fast, but
does hit pretty hard. It's difficult to lock onto the man in black, as
the swarm above will throw it off.

Instead, look for the man in black, and start attacking. Heve Reaction
commands ready, and if you get a lock on him, don't take it off. Limit
and Drive commands will be unavailable in this battle.

Head to the Mountain Trail, then to the Checkpoint. Go to the Imperial City
to initiate a cutscene. Defeat the Heartless, and then enter the Palace. At
this point, you well enter the Antechamber.

Approach the man in black to encounter none other than Riku!.. Just kidding.
Defeat all the Nobodies, and then enter into the Throne Room. Following the
cutscene, open up all the chests on both sides of the throne to obtain Torn
Pages, two AP Boosts, a Queen Recipe, a Palace Map, and an Ogre Shield.

Locate two more chests behind the throne to receive a Mythril Crystal, and
and Orichalcum. Return to the Antechamber, then exit outside to initiate a
cutscene.

Watch the Reaction commands carefully, and hang on for dear life after
it prompts you to do so. Nothing will happen when you fall off, it can
just be rather irritating to get back in reach of the Storm Rider.

When you see it in the distance, it will start to rush at you. This is
going to prompt one of several attacks. First, he may start dropping a
heap of bombs. You'll want to move out of the way to avoid them. It'll
also spin around, and then rush towards you. You can easily counter it
with a Reaction command.

Once you land on top of the Storm Rider, start destroying the orbs. It
will then drop to the ground allowing you to start unleashing powerful
attacks. At that point, the Storm Rider will get back up and unleash a
massive amount of electricity in your direction. You can avoid this by
moving out the way.

Another point in the battle will be once the Storm Rider has landed on
to the ground. This allows you to attack, but it also allows the Storm
Rider to create a massive energy ball. You can take the damage, or you
can approach the Storm Rider from the side.

The best way to look at this is to use the "Slide", and "Vertigo Toss"
once the Storm Rider comes close to you, or destroy the orbs atop the
Storm Rider's back. You can use either of these to knock the wind out
of the Storm Rider.
