Walking this road,
Without you,
To remake forgotten promises,
and meet you at roads end.
Faded Memories,
Reconstructed Memories,
A dream - a dream of you,
In a world without you.
A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory.
A far-off memory that's like a scattered dream.
I want to line the pieces up --
yours and mine.

Kingdom Hearts II (U.S. Release)
FAQ/Walkthrough
V1.6
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
_____________________________________________________________________________
Introduction
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, and welcome to my KHII FAQ! I am writing this because I have some
free time and really enjoy talking and writing about Kingdom Hearts. KHII
has been out for a while now, I'm I'm sure that most people have beaten it.
This is mostly for completionists, perfectionists, or just people who are
stuck at a boss. I havn't updated in a while, and I hope this doesn't
disappoint you, but I didn't add any of the Walkthrough to this update, it
is minor. I overhauled the text boxes and made them look better and easier
to read. I have been extremely busy with finals and end-year tests at
school. Now, school is over and I have the summer ahead of me. I should
have the main walkthrough by the end of June, and the rest of the guide
should probably take a while, considering how much is going to be needed.
I'm planning on writing some more FAQs after I get done with this one, so
look out for them!
Have fun reading this guide, I hope it helps you.

Updates
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
V1.0 - March 24, 2006 - Started the layout of the guide; Worked on some of
the Indexes.
V1.1 - April 2, 2006 - Started Walkthrough; updated layout.
V1.2 - April 14, 2006 - Grrr..Had a lot of trouble with the | charcter, so
updated layout AGAIN, and I'm sorry that it isn't as attractive as I
had originally hoped, but at least this can be posted on GF without
being all jumbled. Since I need to re-format every box of text, I
took everything I had for the Indexes out for now.
V1.3 - April 23, 2006 - Reworked Important Notices, Table of Contents, and
new section text boxs; added Sephiroth strategy; added
Glitches/Tricks; walkthrough up to Atlantica. (2) Added my
Sephiroth video to the Sephiroth Battle section. I have the walk-
through up to Halloween Town done, but it is on my other computer,
so I won't be able to add it for a few days.
V1.4 - May 3, 2006 - Walkthrough up to Agrabah; I accidentally deleted the
last parts of this file, mainly the rest of the walkthrough I had
done, and couldn't get a lot of it back (made me mad); finally
reformatted lots of text boxes, so got all of the Nobodies, Org.
XIII Members, and Ansem's Reports in there; added Heartless
definition.
V1.5 - May 14, 2006 - Really wasn't lookin foward to re-typing Halloween
Town, but it had to be done; Walkthrough up to Rabbit's House;
Added Enemies and Shop Inventory to the beginning of each world in
the same manner that the guide book does.
V1.6 - May 28, 2006 - Updated lots of text boxes to a less confusing
format. Basically I cleaned it up; Added Michael Sarich's copyright
notice.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 1. The 1st Day.................................................(ia01)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You are now in Twilight Town, playing as a mysterious boy, Roxas,
previously known as the Blond Haired Kid, and you've got to clear your name.
Walk forward and head toward Biggs' Armor Shop. Walk up to Jesse's Accessory
shop and talk to her with triangle. After talking with the candy shop owner,
use R1 to Lock-On to her cat. In the Sandlot, watch the scene...
"That was undeniable proof that we totally owned you lamers." = Best quote ever
and choose what weapon you will be using. What you choose has to do with what
points will be added to your stats.
Magic-Type Club - +1 Magic
Defense-Type Club - +1 Defense
Attack-Type Club - +1 Strength
After deciding what weapon you will be using, you will battle Seifer.
The game will give you a tutorial on how to fight. Then the fight really
begins.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: Seifer
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 100
Threat: Low
Get Bonus: None
--------------------------------------------------------
Seifer isn't hard. Run up and start hacking away at
him, while parrying his swings. When he trys to do a
spinning slash, step back and wait for it to be over,
then get in there. That's about it, and after a few
good combos, he'll go down.
--------------------------------------------------------
Watch the events that follow. Now chase that mysterious thing through the
woods. After you arrive at a mansion (*Remembers Vexen*), go up to the thing
and use the capture command.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: Dusk
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: None
Threat: Low
Get Bonus: None
--------------------------------------------------------
You will find that you cannot damage it with your
current weapon. After you obtain the keyblade, use the
Reversal reaction command with triangle to get behind
the it and then hack away. Rinse, wash, repeat.
--------------------------------------------------------
Watch the events that follow, and the first day is done.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 2. The 2nd Day.................................................(ia02)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time to see blue seas, blue skies. Time to go to the beach! But your broke,
so it's work before play.
You can now save the game for the first time. Go up to the save point and
press triangle. You will obtain the Twilight Town Map after a short scene.
Get on your skateboard and follow your friends to the Market Street.
Watch the cutscene and then go up to the help wanted bulletin board. Select the
job you want to do. You're supposed to get at least 800 Munny today, but you
can get away with a very small amount. Try to go for 1200. The most you can
obtain for the day is 2000, but don't bother. Remember that you got 150 Munny
already from the Dusk.
800-1190 Munny = +1 AP Bonus
1200-2000 Munny = +2 AP Bonus
__________________________________________________
Mail Delivery
--------------------------------------------------
How fast you do this will depend on how much
Munny you get. This is the easiest and fastest
way to get 1200 Munny.
5 letters in under 20 seconds: 50 Munny
5 letters in under 60 seconds: 30 Munny
5 letters in over 60 seconds: 10 Munny
There are three people and two birds you need to
deliver to; deliver the letters with triangle:
- Go down the hill and there is a guy in green
on your left.
- Continue down and there will be a bird, jump
and press triangle.
- After you land, there will be a guy in blue.
- Grind the ledge and then jump to get to the
second bird.
- After you get the second bird, turn around and
go straight and the last girl will be in
white.
--------------------------------------------------
__________________________________________________
Cargo Climb
--------------------------------------------------
You have to move a giant sack on a wagon up a
hill. This can be difficult to complete in 30
seconds. After a few three-hit combos, the sack
will fly up in the air, and it will hurt you if
you are under it. Make sure when it flys up in
the air, you hit it, and it will fly a good
distance. Make sure you get it in the garage.
Up the hill in under 30 seconds: 50 Munny
Up the hill in under 60 seconds: 30 Munny
Up the hill in over 60 seconds: 10 Munny
--------------------------------------------------
__________________________________________________
Grandstander
--------------------------------------------------
You need to impress a crowd by keeping a ball
from touching the ground. You do this with
combos. Think Rare Truffles. This is an easy 50
Munny.
20+ max combo: 50 Munny
5-19 max combo: 30 Munny
1-4 max combo: 10 Munny
--------------------------------------------------
After you've completed these three jobs and gotten a good amount of money
from them, head on over to the Tram Common with your good ol' skateboard.
There is another bulletin board here. Select the jobs you want to do.
__________________________________________________
Poster Duty
--------------------------------------------------
Pretty straight-foward. There are posters all
over. The triangle button lights up on them
when you are close to them. You will have to
jump to reach most of them. There are a few
places where there are three in a triangle, so
try to find these. Challenging but worth it.
1:30 or less: 100 Munny
1:30-2:00: 50 Munny
2:00 or more: 30 Munny
--------------------------------------------------
__________________________________________________
Bumble-Buster
--------------------------------------------------
Yellow Lock-On to the bees and swipe away. With
the Lock-On yellow, the closest swarm of bees
will be what you hit.
20 seconds or less: 50 Munny
60 seconds or less: 30 Munny
More that 60 seconds: 10 Munny
--------------------------------------------------
__________________________________________________
Junk Sweep
--------------------------------------------------
Hit the junk into each other. You can also
slowly move the junk with your body to get them
close to one another.
10 swings or less: 50 Munny
11-15 swings: 30 Munny
More than 15 swings: 10 Munny
--------------------------------------------------
After you get at least 800 Munny, go up to Station Plaza and talk to Hayner.
You will recieve the Munny Pouch and an AP Boost if you earned it. You will
obtain the Munny Pouch, but you don't have it for long. Watch the events that
follow and the 2nd Day is done. I want some sea-salt ice cream.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 3. The 3rd Day.................................................(ia03)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reading Hayner's note, save your game. Head out into the Back Alley and
then to Market Street. Watch the scene. In the Sandlot, try to hit the Dusk.
Now here's a familiar place, the Dive to the Heart. If you've played the first
game, which I know you have, the weapon decesion should be familiar to you.
Whichever weapon you choose has to do with what Abilities are learned when
throughout the game. This is put in great detail in the Abilities section of
the Indexes.
Battle all the Dusks and the Get Bonus for this battle is the Aerial Recovery
Ability.
Be sure to equip Aerial Recovery, and open the chest, and put that Potion in a
shortcut. Save your game and go through the door. Kill any and every enemy you
see. The chest on the second platform contains another Potion. After getting
to the top, run back down, go to the Station of Serenity, and then come back.
The Dusks should be back again, and you want to level a few times before you
fight the upcoming boss. You might even recieve another Potion or two from the
Dusks. Make sure you are at least Level 4, where you will learn Scan, before
entering the door on the third platform, especially if you are playing on
Proud Mode.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: Twilight Thorn
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 300
Threat: Medium
Get Bonus:
Roxas - Max HP Increase, Guard Ability
--------------------------------------------------------
This guy is no push-over, and on Proud Mode he is
tough, so don't be afraid to use Potions as needed.
Hopefully you've obtained three. At the beginning of
the battle, you will be bound in mid-air. When TT goes
to slug you, use the reaction command to dodge it and
hit him in the face. He will recover and try to hit
you again, so use the corresponding Lunarsault command
to knock him back again. He will now go under the
platform, and tip it, so you fall towards him. Use the
Break Raid command to chuck your keyblade at that ball
of energy and stun TT.
TT is now down, and wide open for attack, so give him
what you got! After he gets up, he will come at you,
so jump out of his way, and wait until he gets on his
head. Hit him in between the Reversal reaction
commands, which you always want to use. After this, he
will stand up and shoot black stuff at you, which you
can use to Reversal up to his head.
TT will probably do the same thing he did at the
beginning of the battle again, so just repeat the
process. If it isn't dead after the second energy ball
attack it will probably shoot black stuff like crazy,
just keep doing Reversal and attack when you can.
The Nobodies TT summons provide health balls, so kill
kill them if needed.
--------------------------------------------------------
Watch the scenes, with a sneek preview of Aerith's horrible voice
actor, and the third day is over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 4. The 4th Day.................................................(ia04)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Struggle! Struggle! Struggle!
Seifer!
Vivi!
Hayner!
Roxas!
Of course, we're gonna see to it that Roxas walks away the champion. Go over to
the guy near the chalk board and listen to the rules of Struggle. If you want
to level up a bit, go to the Back Alley and battle Seifer a few times. If your
low on Potions, go buy some at Wantz's Item shop in Market Street: Station
Heights. Save your game and talk to the guy standing in the ring when your
ready to Struggle!
________________________________________________________
Struggle Battle: Hayner
--------------------------------------------------------
Back up and let Hayner attack nothing, and then
quickly come in, combo him, collect the orbs, and back
away again. Easy as PIE!
--------------------------------------------------------
________________________________________________________
Struggle Battle: Vivi
--------------------------------------------------------
Seifer said to thrash 'im, so we's is gonna thrash
'im. Equip Guard, because this little mage is fast.
When he stops to attack, flank him. If he is going a
bit too fast for your prefrence, Guard against him and
unleash a combo.
--------------------------------------------------------
After the fight with Vivi, time will freeze again and Dusks will fill the
arena. Dispatch of them to cue one of the most uber bad-ass Organization
members, Axel.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: Axel
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 105
Threat: Low
Get Bonus: None
--------------------------------------------------------
When Axel tries to hit you with his chakarams, Guard
to parry it and combo him. He doesn't have too much
health, so he shouldn't be much of a problem. When he
puts his hand on his lap, this is a free time to
attack him. If you don't he will get fiery and lay a
fiery smack-down on you, so always be pretty close to
him. Whether you beat him or not doesn't matter.
--------------------------------------------------------
Watch the scene and then save your game before going into the final Struggle
battle.
________________________________________________________
Struggle Battle: Setzer
--------------------------------------------------------
Attack as soon as the battle begins to get some cheap
shots in on him, and then back up. When he lunges for
you, jump and circle to his side, and let out a combo.
When he does a triple lunge, dodge it and then attack
him from behind. If he does a flippy-type attack,
Guard against it.
--------------------------------------------------------
If you beat Setzer, you get the Champion Belt. If for whatever reason you
couldn't beat him, you get the Champion Medal. You also obtain "The Struggle"
Trophy. Watch the scenes and the 4th day is done.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 5. The 5th Day.................................................(ia05)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Save your game and go into the Alley, Market Street, Station Plaza, and then
up to Central Station. The town line's free, so it won't cost you anything.
After arrving at Sunset Terrace, you find out the steps rumor was fake. Go
see Pence for a map of the Seven Wonders. Before we go Wonder Hunting, let's
take care of the chests around here first. Go to the middle of the Tram track
and wait for the Tram. Do a double reaction command to hop on it and then hop
onto the pillar to your left. The chest contains an Ability Ring. Hop down,
and behind a tree is a chest with a Potion. Circle around the area until you
get to a bridge. Cross the bridge and to your right is a Hi-Potion. Go
straight after getting the Potion and turn the corner to your left after a
set of stairs to find a chest with a Potion inside.
Now for the second Wonder, The Friend from beyond the wall. Go up the alley in
Sunset Terrace and investigate the brick wall. Balls will shoot out of it, and
your objective is to dodge them and make it back to the brick wall. Once you
get there, press triangle.
The third Wonder, The Moans from the Tunnel, is, you guessed it, in the
tunnel. Inside you find Vivi, but, its actually 14 Vivi clones that you have
to battle. This battle isn't too tough, as the Vivis die in one hit.
The fourth Wonder, The Doppelganger, is at the waterfall, near where Olette
is. Upon investigating it, a shadow Roxas comes out, and you, as always, have
to fight. Shadow Roxas is slow, and often leaves itself open for attack. You
should have no trouble just wailing on it.
Go to Sunset Hill for the fifth Wonder, The Animated Bag, and investigate that
bag thats at the top. Hop onto it, and just press triangle a bunch to hop over
all the trash cans. It was a dog, I mean, come on.
The Sixth Wonder, The Ghost Train Mystery, is back on Sunset Hill.
After the scenes, Investigate the Seventh Wonder. Go to the Tram Common, The
Woods, and then The Old Mansion.
Watch the scenes and the fifth day is finally over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I. A. 6. The 6th Day.................................................(ia06)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the last day you get to play as Roxas =(
Save and head into the Back Alley. After the scene, fight off the Dusks.
An Assassian will appear, so Guard when needed and take it out as well.
After the short scene, head to the Old Mansion while battling the Nobodies.
Watch the scene.
This Mansion is filled with Nobodies, so stay alert. Run forward to get to a
chest with a Hi-Potion. Halfway up the left stairs is a chest with a Potion
in it, and on the second floor is a chest with a Potion. Head downstairs and
enter the door to the west. Inside are two chests, one with a Potion, and one
with an Elven Bandanna (NOTE: Throughout the game Bandana is spelled wrong.
I'm going to spell it the way the game does, even though it isn't correct).
Head back to the Foyer, go up the stairs and to the left, to get to Namine's
White Room. After the scene, you obtain Namine's Sketches and the Mansion Map.
Save, and also note that in this room, your command menu is cards, to pay
homage to Chain of Memories.
Head out and go to the oppostie end of the upstairs to the Library. Watch the
scene and head down to basement, opening the chest to get a Hi-Potion on the
way. After the scene, save and go through the new door. Fight off the Nobodies
and run into an old friend.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: Axel
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 345
Threat: Medium
Get Bonus:
Roxas - Max HP Increase
--------------------------------------------------------
Okay, so Roxas gets Oblivion and Oathkeeper and now
has to defeat his former best friend... Easy right?
Well, ya, actually, if you have some Potions, it is.
Run around to his side at the beginnign of the battle
so he doesn't get a cheap shot in on you. Use the same
strategy as before, and watch out when he is flaming.
Use the reaction commands at the right time to show
that skinny wierdo you mean business. After you stun
him, run in and attack with everything you got! When
he goes behind the flame wall, keep him locked on and
look for the reaction commands.
--------------------------------------------------------
Head into the next room and watch the scene, then open the chest
for a Hi-Potion. Head into the next room, and make Sora whole. This
marks the true beginning of Kingdom Hearts II.

Watch the scenes, and then select your party, abilities, items, journal,
whatever. In the Mansion's courtyard lies two chests, one with a Mythril
Shard and one with a Potion. After the scene, save at the Usual Spot.
Go into the Sandlot and watch the scene. Before we go see the King, lets
get some treasure chests shall we? Jiminy's Journal has every treasure chest
in every area, so look there to see if you think your ever missing any chests.
From the Sandlot, head into Tram Common. There are 7 chests in the Tram
Common, so lets get started. The first one is down the little ramp that is
directly in front of you, containing a Hi-Potion. Turn right, run up
the hill, and then turn around to spot a chest containing a Potion. Run
down the Tram tracks until you get to the end of a little tunnel, then
turn left to see two stair things. Hop up them and then run to the edge
of the brown roof. Turn left to see a rainbow thing, jump on it and run
accross it, and you will be on another brown roof where you can jump
to get a chest with a Mythril Shard. Turn left and go straight to the
other roof to get a chest with another Mythril Shard. From here, jump
down and go left, and behind that old ladies closed down shop is a chest
with a Potion. From the Accessory shop, run up three flights of stairs
to reach chest with a Tent. Then, hop across the gree roofs to the blue
one with a chest containing an AP Boost, which you'll probably want to
use on Sora.
Head up to Station Heights, and then to Central Station and then to Central
Station and view the scene. Fight all the Nobodies while waiting for King
Mickey to arrive, and you and your party might level up a few times. You
recieve the Munny Pouch, Crystal Orb, and Secret Ansem's Report 2.
Watch the scene and then go up the stairs. There are 3 chests around the
station. They contain a Hi-Potion, a Tent, and a Mythril Shard. When your
ready, save your game and talk to Donald. Watch Sora cry, and then you'll
ride the train to the Mysterious Tower. You can pick up 3 chests before
talking to Pete. The chests contain a Potion, Hi-Potion, and an Ether.
After the scene, you have to kill a few Shadow Heartless, no big deal. You
end up inside the tower and can't go back outside right now. Open the chests
containing an Ether and Mythril Shard and then save your game. Head up the
stairs. Fight your way up the stairs into the next room where you must
again defeat all of the Heartless. Head through the door to continue. In
the next room, you must defeat all of the Heartless AGAIN! There is are
Soldiers thrown in with the Shadows this time, if the Cyclone reaction command
appears, don't miss your chance to use it. After the scene, head through the
door and continue to ascend until you reach Yen Sid.
After listening to his words of wisdom, open the chest containing the Tower
Map and save. Read the book, and after your done, talk to Yen Sid. Head
through the door and open the chest containing a Mythril Stone. Speak to the
red Good Fairy and obtain some new duds. With your new clothes you get the
ability to drive into Valor form by fusing with Goofy. This comes with the
Star Seeker Keyblade, but you can't set it to your main keyblade yet.
You probably want to test out your new drive form right now, but don't!
Save it for when you get into a rather tough battle, because getting your
drive guage up is hard this early in the game. Head through the door to where
Master Yen Sid is to reviece... your Gummi Ship, Highwind!
The only place you can go is Hollow Bastion, and you don't have to do a
Gummi Mission to get there, yay!

This is the shopping area and sort of acts as a Traverse Town. Theres an
Accessory Shop, Armor Shop, Weapon Shop, Synthesis Shop, and Item Shop.
If you need anything, stock up. Be sure to stop by the synthesis shop and
drop off anything you've picked up so far to get an Elixer. After you've
stocked up on stuff, talk to Uncle Scrooge. After learning about his soon-to-
be ice cream empire, head into a new area, The Borough.
You meat up with Yuffie and she explains the town's new defence system, which
is a welcomed ally. Before she can say more, some Nobodies show up, so
take care of them with the help of the town's defence mechanism. This battle
is a great time to try out your Valor Form.
Yuffie says to go to Merlin's House and gives you the Marketplace Map. Next
to Merlin's door is a chest with a Hi-Potion. After you get greeted by the
gang, please take some time to laugh with me at Aerith's god-awful voice
actor.
Hahahahahahahah... Man, she is just awful, just awful. I swear to god I
laughed when I first heard her talk, I acually laughed out loud.
Anyway, after recieving a Membership Card and Blizzard Element, save and
head back outside. Head down the street for a chest with a Tent. Head up the
stairs and hop onto the ledge for a chest with an AP Boost that you might
want to send Sora's way. Turn around and go forward for a chest with a Drive
Recovery and a chest with a Mythril Shard. Head down into the Bailey.
Leon shows Sora a thousand Heartless that have been bothering HB. An Org
member who you can't see sends Nobodies to bust through the door, and you have
to protect it. Get right by the door and fend off any Nobodies that get close.
You can't use Valor in this fight, so use your nifty new Blizzard Spell if
things get too hectic. If they are attacking the door, drop what you are
doing and take care of them. The Samurai Nobodies have fun Duel Stance
reaction commands where you have to find "The End" in the command menu in the
short time that it shows up. If you do, you will slash it and kill it.
Use Potions when necessary, and remember to take advantage of the Blizzard
spell. For beating this event battle, your Get Bonus is the Fire Element.
You are confronted by many members of the Org (while enjoying the tune
Another Side), and they taunt you. Then one appears directly in front of
you and confuses the hell out of Sora. You use the Membership Card to
obtain the gate to new worlds and obtain Secret Ansem's Report 7.
You appear on your Gummi Ship, so dash over to the Asteroid Sweep and do
the Gummi Ship Mission, which will lead you to The Land of Dragons.

You will start off by scaring the crap out of Mushu and meeting Ping. Ping
has to be in your party, so make sure Goofy is in it. You want to be able
to use Valor in this world. You can now switch your party members in the
middle of battle. There are three chests in the Bamboo Grove area containing
an Ether, a Hi-Potion, and a Mythril Shard. There is also a holographic Moogle
Shop where yo can synthesise or buy stuff. Drop off your synthesis items,
save, and head on out.
Head to where the soldiers are lined up and watch Sora get punched in the face.
After the scene, you need to battle the Heartless in the area while keeping
your morale up. This can be tricky, so whenever there are orbs on the ground,
pick them up, and try to protect Ping when you can, because he, I mean she,
will get hit the most. Afterwards, you haveto prove that Ping is suitable
for the Imperial Army by doing 3 missions. You obtain the Encampment Area Map
after talk to the Captian.
Before doing the missions, there are a few treasure chests you should take
care of. They are in the Checkpoint Area. This area has pretty strong Heart-
less, so if you are not at level 10 yet, I suggest fighting here until you
are. The two chests in the area conatin a Mythril Shard and a Potion. When you
are ready, ask the Captian about the missions.
________________________________________________________
Mission: The Suprise Attack
--------------------------------------------------------
Fight the Heartless while keeping your morale up.
Unless you are positive you aren't going to make it,
refrain from using Valor.
--------------------------------------------------------
________________________________________________________
Mission: The Ambush
--------------------------------------------------------
Fight some Nightwalkers and Shadows, and Assault
Riders will come in to the picture. These guys are
tough and will kill you before you know it. Use
blizzard magic on them to keep HP and morale high.
--------------------------------------------------------
________________________________________________________
Mission: The Search
--------------------------------------------------------
Use R1 to find hidden enemies around the camp. Once
you kill the first one, the next one should come out
of hiding. Each time you kill one, another near by
should appear.
--------------------------------------------------------
Afer completing the missions, you get an AP Boost for your trouble.
Head back to the Bamboo Grove and save, then return to the Checkpoint and
go to the newly opened area. You need to make it to the village before your
Morale Gauge runs out, which isn't easy. Push through the enemies and use the
reaction command twice on the wall to break it. After doing this again, you
are in an open area with many chests. DO NOT OPEN ANY CHESTS. They will lead
you off path and you morale will run out. Instead, go to the right and go up
to the rock wall and break it, then move onward.
Your Morale Gauge is officially gone, yay! You recieve the Village Area Map.
Now, before we track down Shan-Yu, its time to go back to the Mountain
Trail and get those chests that we skipped. Head right and hop onto a platform
with an Ether and Recovery Recipe. Jump down and run to reach a ledge with a
Mythril Shard in a chest on it. Down near the way to Checkpoint is the last
chest in the area containing a Hi-Potion.
Back at the Village, drop off your items at the Moogle shop and go North on
the map to a save point on your left. Opposite the save point is the cave
Mushu saw Shan-Yu go into. Head in, picking up a Hi-Potion and AP Boost while
in there. Continue forward to find you've been trapped.
This is quite a hard Event Battle. You are trapped and have to dispatch of
the Heartless with just Ping. The first wave conatins a bunch of Shadows and
one Assualt Rider. Go straight for him to take him out quickly with Blizzard
and combo attacks. The second wave contains two Assault Riders, so it
is best to let Ping try to take them while you blast away with Blizzard.
Try to use the Shadows as your source of HP for the first wave so you can
save your Potions for the two Assault Riders. The Get Bonuses for this battle
are the useful Slide Dash Ability for Sora, and an HP Increase and the Ability
Hyper Healing for Ping.
Watch the events that follow, and then save your game and equip Slide Dash.
Head up the mountain when you are ready. The Ridge has two chests, one
containing a Hi-Potion and the other containing an AP Boost. The Rapid
Thrusters can be taken out with ease using the Speed Trap and Aero Blade
reaction commands. You can ride the wind to get to them if they go too high.
In the next area, you have to kill as many Heartless as you can within
the time limit. The reaction commands I mentioned above greatly help with
this. There is a new Heartless, Bolt Tower, too. You can only damage
it by hitting it's tiny head. If you get caught in it's beam, hit triangle
as fast as you can to shoot the beam back at it, killing it and Heartless
near it.
After watching the events that follow, Mulan recieves her Limit Command
Dragonblaze, but unequip Auto Limit for now. Head back to the ridge and
watch the scene, and then head back to the Village and save your game. Make
sure you have a MAX drive guage, and head to the Checkpoint and use the newly
opened door to get to the Imperial City.
After you view the scenes, you have to battle some Heartless. Don't use Valor
here, but Mulan's Limit works well. Before heading to the Palace Entrance,
equip Auto Limit on Mulan.

As soon as the battle starts, use Mulan's Limit, then
Valor Form, then Mulan's Limit again. He should only
have one life bar of health now. Now just attack him
one on one, and if you lock blades, use the reaction
commands to over power him. Just watch out for his
falcon, and thats it. You should kill him way before
the gates come even close to being breached by the
Heartless.
--------------------------------------------------------
The prize for defeating Shan-Yu and the Land of Dragons is the Hidden
Dragon Keyblade. I don't know about you, but right now, I equip Star
Seeker as my main weapon and Kingdom Key as my secondary
Keyblade. If you want to, take a trip back to HB to stock up if you
used a lot of items, but if not, then head on into the Stardust Sweep

Once you enter Beast's Castle, Heartless fill the room, and you have to fight
them all until the Beast comes. Watch the events, drop off your synthesis
items, and then save your game.
Head in the direction that Donald saw Belle at, the right staircase. After the
scene, open the two chests containing a Mythril Shard and Castle Map, and then
save. Head back into the East Wing and get ready to fight some Heartless,
including the uber-annoying Large Body. To kill him, get behind him and do a
combo. The last hit of the combo should make him fly into the air, so be sure
to use the Full Swing reaction command to take a big chunk of it's life away.
Once it gets hit enough times, it will go into a Berserk-type mode and try to
ram you. Using the Guard and Kickback reaction commands should stop, and
probably kill this Heartless. the chests in the East Wing contain a Tent and a
Hi-Potion.
Once back in the Entrance Hall, head out the main doors and into the Courtyard
for some chests and Heartless. The chests contain a Mythril Shard, Hi-Potion,
and AP Boost. Once back inside, head up the left staircase and enter the door.
After the scene, take care of the chests in the area. Run behind you, and in
the suits of armor area, there are two chests, containing a Mythril Shard and
Hi-Potion. Head back to where you started, and to your left is a Drive
Recovery. Straight across the dresser are two chests, containing a Tent and
Mythril Shard. You can also see a treasure chest up the stairs, but you can't
get past because of the suits of armor.
Head up to the left side of the dresser and tap the Move reaction command.
After the short scene, you have to use the Push reaction command to slowly
move the dresser. Once you do it enough, the command will disappear and turn
into Awaken, which you don't want to push. After she falls back asleep, use
the Push reaction command again. Watch the scene and head through the door.

--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 137
Threat: Medium
Get Bonus:
Sora - Upper Slash Ability
Donald - Donald Fire Ability
Goofy - Max HP Increase
--------------------------------------------------------
Before taking on the gate, you have to defeat the
swarms of Heartless that it sends your way. You also
want to do this toward the back of the room, becuase
the Tresholder has a very long reach, and can swipe
at you with it's claws. Approach the gate to make a
swarm of Gargoyles appear, so take those out toward
the back of the room. Approach it again for a bunch
of Hook Bats. Be sure to use the reaction command on
them if available. Approach one more time for another
swarm of Hook bats.
Once all the Heartless are taken care of, it is time
to take on the gate itself. Get to it's side, and use
Valor if it is available to inflict massive damage.
After it's HP is gone, use the reaction command and
the Possessor will come out, so be sure to attack it!
After it leaves, the Thresholder gets a new move where
it shoots projectiles at you. It is easy to avoid
though. Deplete Thresholder's HP again, and use the
reaction command again to release Possessor one final
time, and kill it. Make sure you brought plenty of
Potions for this battle.
NOTE: If you die on this battle, there is a chance
that King Mickey will come to save you if you choose
the "I Wont Give Up!" option after dying. You get to
play as Mickey, but he is relatively weak, so mainly
focus on healing Sora with the reaction command. The
King only has a few attacks, and kinda fights like
Yoda. There is a chance that he will save you more
than once in a battle, but it is not certain. The
more times you die and select Continue, the less
chance you have of him saving you.
--------------------------------------------------------
Enter the door to find the Beast's servants. After the scene, open the chests
containing the Basement Map and an AP Boost. Save your game and head back into
the Undercroft.
The enchanted servants are on top of a balcony of sorts, so hop on the dressers
and such to make it up to them. Talk to Cogsworth, and he will make the suits
of armor get out of the way to reveal the Secret Passage. You have to light all
the lanterns with the help of Lumiere and Mrs. Potts, while Cogsworth hangs on
a lever that keeps the lanterns down. When he runs out of energy, the lanterns
will go up. If he does fall of exhaustion, run over to him and use the reaction
commands. When you are trying to light a lantern, it is impotant to know that
you have to wait for Mrs. Potts and Lumiere to get there too, or it will not
light. There are boxes that get in the way of your two tiny friends, so destroy
them to allow passage. Don't bother with the chests while lighting the
lanterns, as it takes time, and Cogsworth can't hang there forever. What I
don't understand is why Donald and Goofy didn't just stand there holding
Cogsworth's feet up to support him, but oh well.
After the scene, open the three chests in the area containing a Mythril
Shard, Hi-Potion, and Mega-Potion, the last of which is right before you
leave the Secret Passage. You can now get that treasure chest that was
un-reachable before, and it contains an AP Boost. The statues might
come alive and scare the crap out of you, but they are just Heartless, so kill
them. Once in the West Wing, head up to the Beast's Room while getting the
chests containing a Tent and Mythril Shard.
________________________________________________________
Boss Battle: The Beast
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 156
Threat: Low
Get Bonus:
Sora - Armor Slot
Donald - Max HP Increase
Goofy - Defender Ability
--------------------------------------------------------
This is a very, very easy battle. Lock-On and bash at
him while always using the Wake Up reaction command
when it is available. After using this for a number
of times, you have to recharge Cogsworth by repeatedly
tapping the triangle button, and he will send a great
sense of "What are you thinking?" into the Beast, and
end the battle.
--------------------------------------------------------
You can now place the Beast in your party, which I suggest you do so. If you
put him in your party, you might want to un-equip Auto-Limit for now. Open
the chest to get Mega-Recipe, save your game, and head on out back to Belle's
Room. Back in the West Hall, which is an absolutly great place to level up,
the suits of armor have moved, rendering the Secret passage completely useless.
Back in the Entrance Hall, you'll have to fight Lance Soldiers, which, in
my opinion, are the most annoying enemy in the first portion of the game. Jump
at the chance to use the Lance Tug reaction command to help destroy these
Heartless.
Once in Belle's Room, talk to the Wardrobe and watch the scene. Save your game
and then head out. Once back in the Entrance Hall, head through the doors that
are in between the two stair cases, and be prepared with Potions and a MAX
drive guage for a pretty tough Boss Battle, and make sure to equip Beast's
Auto-Limit now. I was level 15 walking into this battle.

Boss Battle: Shadow Stalker/Dark Thorn
--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 176/390
Threat: Medium
Get Bonus:
Sora - Max HP Increase, Retaliating Slash Ability
Donald - Max HP Increase
Goofy - Item Slot
Beast - Max HP Increase
--------------------------------------------------------
The first form of this boss will possess the entire
Ballroom, so if you lose a Lock-On, be sure to get
behind the pillars before it does any attacks. It will
become the window and send shockwaves at you, so just
stay behind the pillars. When you see it go up, it
will possess the chandelier. Again, get behind the
pillars as it drops, and then jump in and attack when
you can. The Release reaction command is what ends
this move. It will then go into the ground, and follow
you around. It will try to eat you, so when you see it
under you, jump. It will then become the pillars and
scrape at you. Attack the dark pillar and then use
the reaction command to end this move. The Beast's
Limit is GREAT for when the Shadow Stalker isn't
possessing anything, but save Valor for the next part
of the fight.
As soon as the battle against Dark Thorn starts, use
Valor and unleash heavy damage, using Potions when
needed. After using Valor, it is a good idea to use
Beast's Limit, and he should only have about half a
health bar left. During this portion of the fight,
you might get caught in a three-step reaction command
where you crush Dark Thorn with the chandelier. If
Dark Thron throws you, use the reaction command when
you pass a pillar to sling-shot yourself back to him
and deal great damage.
--------------------------------------------------------
After defeating Dark Thorn, you use the rose to open up a new pathway and
recieve the much loved (and slightly changed) Cure Element. Before you can
head to the new world, you get sent back to Hollow Bastion. Please refer to
the 100 Acre Wood section under Side Missions/Other for this.

Notice that your Drive Gauge is locked with chains, and you can't use it in the
Underworld until you get the Olympus Stone. Go and help Meg, watch the scene,
drop off your synthesis items, buy Potions and weapons for Donald and Goofy,
and save your game. Head on through the door behind Meg to start your journey
through the Underworld.
You will encounter some weak Rabid Dogs, so dispose of them and continue
onward. Battle here to level up if you aren't at level 16 yet. When you reach
a fork, go left. the three treasure chests contain a Mythril Shard, an Ether,
and an AP Boost. When you get to the end of the stairs, make a U-turn and grab
the Hi-Potion from the chest. Turn back around and head straight, and be sure
to grab the Mythril Stone before leaving this area.
After the short scene, hit the two treasure chests for a Mythril Shard and the
Underworld Map. Save your game and continue to move into the Valley of The
Dead.
After the scene, head up the three platforms, while fighting the Heartless. Be
sure to use the Root Ravager command on the Creeper Plants. Head into Hades'
Chamber. Cue Auron. You can't harm Hades now, so attack him until you figure
that out. After the scene, you have to run from Hades while fighting Heartless.
Be sure to put Auron in your party, make sure Auto-Limit is equiped, and
make sure everyone has Potions. This can be THE hardest event battle in the
whole game if you are not prepared. Use Auron's Limit with triangle to clear
the first platform. Make sure you use Potions to heal so that you always have
MP for Auron's limit. Hades will stand by and shoot big fireballs at you, and
you still can not harm him. The wall will fall, so continue on to the second
platform. Here, be sure to use the Lance Tug reaction command every chance that
you get. You should be able to bring down the wall without using Auron's
limit again, so save it. Head to the third platform and dispose of the first
wave of Heartless, focusing on the Lance Soldiers first. When the second wave
appears (with a Large body), use Auron's limit and then take out the straglers.
Head on out of there as soon as the wall gets brought down.
Save, restock yourself and Auron with Potions, unequip Auto-Limit, and head
back toward the Cave of the Dead: Entrance. After all the scenes, you have to
fight Cerberus, and Donald and Goofy don't get to help you, so it's just you
and Auron.

--------------------------------------------------------
HP: 440
Threat: Low
Get Bonus:
Sora - Dodge Slash Ability

--------------------------------------------------------
At the start of the battle, Cerberus will leap, and
you need to jump over the shockwave it creates. It
might spin around when it does this, so jump over it's
tail. Once it is facing you, target one of the outside
heads and attack, attack, attack. Cerberus doesn't go
up to bite at you after a certain number of hits like
he did in KHI, so it is easier to just wail on him.
Unlike the battle in KHI, you can NOT jump up onto
it's back. Heal with Potions and Cure when needed, but
do it from far away, because Cerberus doesn't walk
around anymore, and can't just follow you. It will
shoot weak fireballs at you though, but they are easy
to avoid. Don't go TOO far, or else Cerberus will jump
again.
After a bit of abuse, Cerberus will bash it's two
outer heads together, smashing Sora. Use this
oppurtunity to use the three reaction commands on it.
It will fall down with it's heads on the ground,
dazed. Now is a PERFECT time to use Auron's limit
and inflict massive damage. Cerberus isn't too tough
and he should go down in no time.
--------------------------------------------------------
After the scene, save, and head on up to the Coliseum. After seeing Hercules,
he promises to go off to get the Olympus Stone for you, but he has a match
first, so he suggests training with good 'ol Phil. You recieve the Coliseum
Map. Save and then head on out into the oh-so-familiar battle stage. Talk to
Phil.

is now accesible for a Power Boost, and then save your game. Head into the new
area. Walking foward, you will fall. Take care of the new Heartless and then
turn around. Hop up onto the ledge and open the chest for a Mythril Shard.
Head straight into the Lost Road.
After the short scene, head foward and go right to open a chest with an Ether.
Go up the middle path and open the chest containing a Hi-Potion. Head through
the path and to a different part of the Underworld Caverns: Entrance and grab
the Hi-Potion and AP Boost without falling off. Head back.
Go left and open the chest to recieve a Mythril Stone in this identical area.
Take the middle path and open the chest containing a Mythril Shard. Go left
from the chest and then right to reach the Atrium. Head left for a Tent. Go
up the ramps and hop to the floating platform for an AP Boost. Hop back and
head up the stairs and into Demyx. Watch the scene and get ready for a rather
strange battle.

then tap it repeatedly to kill many minions at once.
DANCE WATER, DANCE!
--------------------------------------------------------
With Demyx defeated, you obtain the Olympus Stone and Secret Ansem's
Report 5. The Olympus Stone allows you to finally drive in the Underworld,
yay! In the Lock, open the three chests for a Mythril Shard, an AP Boost, and
the long over-due Caverns Map. Save your game and then Go To The Rescue. After
the scene, jump into the green beam of light.

First off, you need to destroy the Hook Bats and make
sure Meg doesn't recieve too much damage. Use the Bat
Cry reaction commands to make quick work of the Heart-
less. Then, it is on to Pete. He isn't too much of
a threat, so just wail on him. After a while, he will
summon some Shadows, so make quick work of them and
get back on Pete. When he puts a barrier up, just run
around and avoid him. This part of the battle will
end before you defeat him.
Meg gets taken to safety and Herc comes to give you
a helping hand.
This part has a 2:00 time limit, which isn't too bad
if you don't dwaddle. You can knock Pete into Herc
when he has his barrier up with the Pinball reaction
command. Just go Valor and wail on the fatty.
--------------------------------------------------------
After the scene, restock, save, and head out, up to the Coliseum for one of the
funnest boss fights in the whole game.

--------------------------------------------------------
Something to know before you start is that to your far
left is Meg, and if you run to her, she will through
you HP and Drive balls. The fight starts out with the
Hydra having just one head, so watch out for it's tail
and the lighting bolts it summons, and attack when it
lowers it's head. When the hydra is stunned, run up
to it's neck and use the Vanquish reaction command to
cut off it's head. To anyone who has seen the movie,
it is no suprise that three more grow in it's place.
They are sticking up above the ground, so you need to
GET UP ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!!! and use the reaction
commands to stun it. Then, jump down and attack one of
the heads, using Vanquish when it's HP is gone. Repeat
this twice.
When the Hydra pulls out of the ground headless, watch
out, because seven are now going to grow. Watch out
for when the Hydra pounds it's heads onto the ground,
because that can cause some hefty damage. It will also
start to shoot black spirit-like things, so watch out
for those as well. When the Hydra lowers it's head
attack and use Valor if your drive guage is full. When
the heads pull back up, watch out for the head slam-
ming again.
Toward the end of the battle, Pegasus will come to
help in the form of the Pegasus Run reaction command
in which you fly around attacking each head. Be sure
to tap triangle like crazy while you are on Pegasus.
After it's HP is gone, use one final Vanquish reaction
command to kill the beast.
--------------------------------------------------------
After you open a pathway to new worlds, you recieve the awesome Hero's Crest
keyblade. I equip this as my main weapon and Star Seeker as my secondary. There
is something happening down in Disney Castle, which you FINALLY get to go to,
so head on over. You don't have to play a Gummi Mission to get there either,

After ariving, watch the scene and save your game. Head up the stairs and into
the Courtyard. This place is just swarming with Heartless, including new
Minute Bomb Heartless. after attacking them, a countdown begins, so make sure
to use the Dodge Roll reaction command to get out of the way. There are many
chests in this area. A Hi-Potion, the Star Recipe, a Mythril Shard, an AP
Boost, an Ether, a Mythril Stone, and another Mythril Shard. Dang that was a
lot. Head on into the new area after you have gotten all the chests and
disposed of all the Heartles.
In the Colonnade, there is a seemingly endless number of Shadows, so if you
are not quite level 18, right here is a great place to level up. After you've
had your fill of fighting, head into the only accesible place at the moment,
the Library. Inside and to your right is a chest with Torn Pages from Pooh's
Book. After completing Disney Castle, please refer to the 100 Acre Wood
section under Side Missions/Other for Piglet's House. Approach Queen
Minnie Mouse and watch the scene. You recieve the Disney Castle Map. Drop
off any synthesis items, stock up on anything, save, and head back to the
Colonnade.
Minnie has taken a few lessons from Yen Sid, and can defend herself with
energy balls. Her and Sora have a devastating Co-Op attack called Faith, in
which all Heartless surrounding the two will be thrown back. You need to
be standing next to Minnie to use Faith. All you need to do is get Queen
Minnie to the door in the middle of the Colonnade which leads to the Audience
Chamber. Run forward, call her over, use Faith, repeat. Make sure Queen
Minnie's damage gauge doesn't fill up or else it is Game Over. Once at the
door, use the Finish command. Now that wasn't too hard was it?
After the scene, go into the Audience Chamber. You need to defeat all of
those Bolt Towers, and while it seems overwhelming, it is actually a very,
very, easy thing to do. Run foward a bit, call Minnie over, and use Faith.
A bunch of Bolt Towers will be thrown back. Now just stand there. The Bolt
Towers will come back at you, so whenever any get too close, just use Faith
again. It might take a few minutes, but this is the easiest way to get rid of
all those Bolt Towers. When there is only a few left, go ahead and wail on
them with the keyblade. After they are all dispatched, run up to Mickey's
throne and use the Finish command again. The Get Bonus for this event battle
is an Accessory Slot and the Auto Summon Ability.
After all the scenes, save, return to the World Map, and go to Hollow Bastion.
After the scene, open the door that Merlin conjoured up.

Woah...welcome to the 1920's. After the scene, open the two chests in the area
for the Cornerstone Hill Map and a Drive Recovery. Drop off any synthesis
items, stock up, and save. You can't go anywhere but the Pier right now, so
do so. There are two chests in this area, one containing a Hi-Potion and one
containing a Mythril Shard. Use the Punish reaction command on Pete to initiate
a cut-scene and battle. This isn't really a boss battle because Pete is some
blundering fool who thinks he can take you on. Just wail on him, and if a
reaction command comes up, use it.
After the scenes, head into the Wharf. This is a great place to level up
Valor Form using the Drive Glitch. This is explained in the Glitches/Tricks
section under Other. In the next area, the Waterway, there are three chests
containing an AP Boost, a Mythril Stone, and a Hi-Potion. Head back to Corner-
Stone Hill, save your game, and enter the door to the far left.
In this scenario, the Building Site, you have to fight all of the Heartless
before the Mayhem Gauge fills up. There is a new Heartless, the Hammerframe.
After a while, everyone will start to bounce up in the air, so use aerial
attacks and the Air Slash reaction command if it comes up. Watch the scene
and then enter the second door.
In this scenario, the Lilliput, you have to protect the town before the
air-type Heartless and Hammerframes destroy it. The castle esque thing in the
middle provides a useful reaction command. After the scene, enter the third
door.
This scenario, the Scene of the Fire, is by far the most difficult. You
have to deal with Shadows, and then a new type of Heartless, Hot Rods. After
their HP gets about half way down, they will charge at Sora three times,
so jump over them. If you do get hit by them, it will reduce your HP quicker
than you can say "But I really want to go to Disney World this year!" Valor
form helps in taking out the Hot Rods quickly. Watch the scene and then enter
the fourth and final door.
In Mickey's House, there is some wierd vortex thing in the middle. All you
have to do is take out the Shadows and Rapid Thrusters before the Mayhem
Gauge fills up. Easy. After the scene, you recieve the Window of Time Map.
Save and head into the Waterway. In this event battle, you have to get the
Cornerstone of Light back from future Pete, who is riding around in 1920's
Pete's boat. Future Pete will throw stuff at you, so use the reaction commands
to knock them back at him. After hitting him about four times, the boat will
spin out of control and end up on the shore, so run up and use the reaction
command on the hook to grab onto it. Smash at the cage holding the Cornerstone
and after a while, the hook will go crazy, so use the Hang On command to stay
on it. After doing that, the hook will throw you off and Heartless will appear.
Take care of them quickly and then grab back on the hook and repeat. Make sure
you take care of this before Pete wakes back up, or he might escape.
The Get Bonuses for this battle are the Slapshot Ability for Sora, the
Fantasia! and Auto Limit Abilities for Donald, and a Max HP Increase for Goofy.
After the scene, head back to Cornerstone Hill and save, make sure you have a
MAX Drive Gauge, and then head into the Wharf. Head on over to where the two
Petes are fighting.

The good Pete helps you fight in this battle. Pete
will throw down his little bombs just like last time,
and a lot of the time Pete is doing something where
you won't be able to damage him. You can use good
Pete by hitting him into bad Pete or use the About-
Face reaction command to chuck him at bad Pete.
Pete will transport everyone to the Windows of Time
after a certain amount of his HP is gone. The order
he transports you in is Scene of the Fire, Mickey's
House, Lilliput, and the Building Site. By the last
two areas, Pete will start using his shield. The
Building Site is a great area to use Valor Form to
inflict massive damage while air-bourne. The Air Slash
reaction command also damages Pete to a great extent.
--------------------------------------------------------
After the scene, you recieve the Monochrome keyblade (which I put as my
secondary weapon). After more scenes, you recieve the ability to use Wisdom
Form, and the Pain and Panic Cup opens at the Underdrome in Olympus Coliseum.
If you want to, head to Hollow Bastion to put those new pages in Pooh's Book.
You can also participate in that tournament, but it isn't going anywhere, and
it's kind of hard now, so you might want to level up a little first. Head on
over to the Atlantica section under Side Missions/Other for that section of
the game.
After doing a few, all, or none of those three things, head into the Floating

You ever dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight? o.O
After the scene, open the three chests around the area for the Naval Map, an
Ether, and a Mythril Stone. Save and go down the stairs near the save point.
After the scene, you must defeat the pirates. You'll find that you can't hurt
them right now, so just hit them until the scene. You always have to lure
pirates into moonlight to be able to hurt them, but in this battle, the whole
place in covered in moonlight. Use the Return Fire reaction command whenever
a pirate tries to shoot at you to knock the bullet back at him.
After the short conversation, head into town after the pirates. You have to
fight three waves of Heartless, which isn't too bad. The third wave includes
a new Heartless, the Cannon Gun, which, if given enough time, will try to shoot
a missle at you. This is easily avoidable though. After talking to Will Turner,
you will want to search the Town for treasure chests. Turn left and go down an
alley, then defeat the Heartless and break the wall to your right for a chest
with an AP Boost. Down the alley a bit more is a chest with a Mythril Shard.
Across from where you found the first chest is a bunch of junk, so break it,
and head foward. When you reach the four way intersection, take a right for
a chest with an Ether, and then turn arond and break the wall to your right
for a chest with a Mythril Gem. That's it for the Town, so head back to the
Harbor to meet the most daring pirate to ever sail the seas, Captain Jack
Sparrow.
Put Capn' Sparrow in your party. Talk to Will. After the scene, you are on the
Interceptor. Head to into the Ship's Hold for a moogle and save point. Head
back out and talk to Jack, and tell him to sail for the Black Pearl. You
get ambushed by Air and Undead Pirates, but the battle is very simple and
shouldn't take you much longer than ten seconds. After the scenes, you end up
on Isle de Muerta. After you are finally in control, save and move foward.
After defeating the Heartless, open the two chests in the area for an Ether
and a Mythril Shard. Head forward.
After the scene, you have to fight off the pirates and survive for a minute
if you want the experience, just kill them. Watch the scene. You recieve the
Isle de Muerta Map. Talk to Will and he says head back to Port Royal, so do
so. You get ambushed, so just take out the pirates. Watch the scene, and
get ready for an event battle.
Pirates will hop over to your ship and try to take the medallion. The Pearl
will also shoot at you with cannons, which you can delay if you want, by firing
back, but it isn't necessary. The cannon balls are easy to dodge because of
the giant target that forms on deck. If a pirate happens to hit you enough,
it might get the coin. You then have a minute to get it back from him, who will
have a bubble over his head, or it is Game Over. Be sure you run over it when
it is on the ground to pick it back up. This is a great battle for leveling up.
The get Bonuses for this battle are Max HP Increases for Sora and Goofy and the
Draw Ability for Donald.
After the scenes, select who you want in your party and save. Get ready for
another event battle, and then head up to the Interceptor. This is actually
pretty easy if you know what to do. There are five powder kegs on the Deck,
and you have to se a reaction command on each one of them. Heartless will
attack you, but igore them and focus on the kegs. There are three in front
of you, which you should take care of first, and two behind you. The Get
Bonuses for this battle are an Item Slot for Sora, Max Hp Increases for Donald
and jack, and the Second Chance Ability for Goofy.
You end up back on Isle de Muerta, so head foward until you reach a new area,
the Powder Store. Almost all the boxes you come across will explode, and most
have Undead Pirates in them. There is actually only two treasure chests in this
area, one behind the first stack of boxes to the left, containing an AP Boost,
and on behind the very last stack of boxes, containing another AP Boost.
In the next area, Moonlight Nook, deal with all the Undead Pirates and then
open the three chests for a Mythril Shard, a Mega-Potion and an Ether. If you
don't have close to a MAX drive gauge, use some Drive Recoveries now. Make sure
you are stocked on Potions and have Jack's Auto Limit on. Head North for a
scene and a boss fight.

Get Bonus:
Sora - Drive Gauge Powered Up, Aerial Finish Ability

Goofy - Teamwork Ability, Auto Limit Ability
Jack - Max HP Increase
--------------------------------------------------------
Your main priority at the begining of the battle is
the Illuminator Heartless, which darkens the room and
makes it so you can't damage, or see, Barbossa. The
lizard-like creature is on a wall somewhere, so find
it. It has glowing eyes, which makes the task pretty
easy. Wail on it until it's HP is gone and the room
is lit again.
Use Jack's Limit on Barbossa as soon as you can damage
him, then use Valor and wail on him in the moonlight.
When Barbossa summons another Illuminator, seek it out
and quickly eliminate it. Once Valor is used up, use
Jack's Limit again.
Barbossa will throw bombs and occasionally use his gun
to shoot at you from a distance. He can hurt you a
great deal with his sword, so if a reaction command
oppurtunity comes up, use it to inflict massive
damage.
--------------------------------------------------------

After the very Return of Jafar-like-type scenes, you have to fight new Heart-
less, the Luna Bandit, and some familiar Shadows. Keep fighting until the
scene, after which, you recieve the Agrabah Map. Inside the Peddler's Shop,
do your thing at the Moogle, save, and head outside.
There are no enemies in this area right now for some reason, so use this
oppurtunity to grab all of the chests. Straight ahead is some stairs, so run
up and grab the chest containing a Hi-Potion. Directly across from it is
another chest containing a Mythril Shard. Turn around and run straight until
you reach a chest containing a Drive Recovery. Turn left and jump on the ledge.
Turn right for a chest with a Mythril Shard. From that chest, run foward a
little and turn left for a chest with an AP Boost. Hop out of the little box
and go back to where the previous chest was and make a right to reach a chest
with a Mythril Stone. Go across from where that little box was and hop down
and go foward, then hop up again, for a Mega-Ether.
Look on your map for the nearest exit, which is the Palace.
"Sora, Donald, Goofy!" said by Jasmine sounded really horribly done in my
opinion.
Watch all the scenes until you have control. Heartless are back, along with
the new Silver Rock. They are pretty tough, so use the reaction commands
whenever you can to make thing easier for yourself. Head to the Peddler's
Shop now. Watch the scene. Take the nearest exit to the Bazaar, which is the
tunnel right in front of you.
Clear the area of Heartless, which include a very annoying enemy, the Fat
Bandit, which many of you should remember from the first game. They have
the same reaction commands as the Large Bodys, so fight them the same, but
in this game you can deflect the fire balls they shoot at you using Guard
or Reflect Magic. From where you came from, hop up onto the pink scaffolding
and hop up onto the box to get a Mythril gem. Hop down, run foward, and
then turn left for a chest with a Hi-Potion. To the left of that is a chest
with an AP Boost. Almost hidden behind that chest is another with a Mythril
Shard. The last chest in the area is right by the exit and contains a Hi-
Potion. Head out the exit now.
In the Palace Walls area, grab the two chest containing a Mythril Stone and
Skill Ring and then save. Head out to where you can see a dark, twirling cloud.
Surrounding the Cave of Wonders are two chests containing a Drive Recovery and
a Mythril Shard. Head inside the Cave. In the Valley of Stone area, which has
a bunch of blocks coming out of the ground, there are some new Heartless. The
Fortunetellers don't pose much of a threat, and Fiery Globes are just point-
less. The chest in this area contain a Hi-Potion, a Mythril Shard, a Mythril
Stone, and an AP Boost. You also have to fight two Fat Bandits at the end of
this area, so keep your wits up and don't die.
In the Stone Gaurdians area, run up and examine the floating jewel and then
the pedistal hole. After the scene, you have to do a really easy little event
battle. You have to guide Abu to the pedistal. Run foward using the Go Abu!
reaction commands when you can. When ice shards come up, dispose of them. When
pillars come up, use the Jump Abu! reaction command to get Abu to jump over
them, but don't forget to jump yourself! Take your time on this, it really is
easy. Use the Set the jewel! reaction command once you reach the pedistal. The
Get Bonuses for this battle are Max HP Increases for Sora, Goofy, and Aladdin,
and the Donald Blizzard! Ability for Donald.
After the short scene, save and head into the new area. Run up and activate the
strange sign thing. You have to kill many Heartless on platforms in 2 minutes.
The only real challenge here are the Fat Bandits, so remember to ALWAYS use
the reaction command after you do a combo on them. You have to fight a new
Heartless here, the Icy Cubes, but just like the Fiery Globes, they are easy
and pointless. Open the two chests for the Cave of Wonders Map and an AP Boost,
examine the sign, and save. You can step into that circle of light to be
transported back to the start of the Challenge if you, for whatever reason,
want to do it again. Head into the newly opened door.
Yay, another easy event battle! Pete leaves 50 Heartless for your to take care
of, and it is very easy to do so. The last three are all Fat Bandits though,
so be on your toes. The Get Bonuses for this battle are Max HP Increases for
Sora, Donald, and Aladdin, and the Auto Healing Ability for Goofy. Return to
this Treasure Room whenever you find the time for two chests containing a
Serenity Shard and an AP Boost.
After the scenes, stock up and be prepared for a boss battle, and then head to
the Palace.

In this battle, you are facing off against two
different Heartless at the same time. They are of
opposite elements, so use the reaction commands when-
ever they pop up to throw them into each other. You
can also damage them with Blizzard or Fire manually.
A good thing to do is to use Aladdin's Limit whenever
you can, particularly right before and after Wisdom
or Valor form. Focus on one boss at a time, and don't
let a different one side track you.
After heavy damage, the Lord will burst into the
corrisponding Fiery Globes or Icy Cubes, so take care
of those as quickly as possible. This is really easy
battle and you shouldn't have any trouble at all.

With Genie back and Agrabah at peace, all seems well. Be sure to equip the
extremely useful Explosion ability you just got the next chance you get! You

went, so follow him into Halloween Town Square. After the scenes, you end up
in Dr. Finlestein's Lab. Grab the Halloween Town Map from the chest, save, and
head out.
You have to fight an event battle here, that includes a new Heartless, Whight
Knights. Go ahead and drive toward the end of this battle, you'll be able to
get your drive guage back to MAX in a second. Watch the scene. If you are in
a drive form, hurry and run back into Dr. Finklestein's Lab and enter the
World Map real quick. Head back. The chests in Halloween Town Square contain
a Mythril Stone and Mega-Potion. The gullitone, vents, fountain, and gate in
this area are all booby trapped to hit you, but none of it does any damage.
Head back to the Graveyard to find a bunch of Heartless. Along with them,
another new Heartless, the Driller Mole. Don't fret though, they aren't a
threat. The tombstones may drop on you, but they contain drive orbs.
NOTE: A great way to level up your drive forms is to go to the save point in
Dr. Finklestein's Lab, head to the World Map, come back, enter the Square,
drive, battle the Heartless here and in the Graveyard, run back to the save
point while still in a dive mode, and repeat. Each time you enter the World
Map in a drive mode, you return with a full Drive Gauge.
In the Hinterlands, there are three chests, which contain an AP-Boost, a Hi-
Potion, and a Mythril Stone. Examine the door shaped like a Christmas Tree.
On Yultide Hill, go to the Moogle Shop, drop off your synthesis items, stock
up, exit, and save. Head into Candy Cane Lane.
Another Event Battle! This one yet again includes ANOTHER new Heartless, the
Toy Soldier, and these things are hard! Try to get these things up in the air
so you can go all at them with Aerial attacks. You can use the carasel in the
center of the area to damae enemies that are close to it. After the scene,
open the four chests in the area containing a Hi-Potion, Mythril Gem, Ether,
and a Mythril Stone by Santa's House. When your ready, head on in.
Watch the amusing cut-scene. Open the chests containin an AP Boost and the
Christmas Town Map, then save. Head into the new area and watch all the
scenes. Follow the footprints back to the Graveyard. Before entering the
Curly Hill, equip your party with Potions, and make sure you have a MAX

This boss will, uh, swallow the three trick or treat-
ers and the way it attacks will change with who it
swallows. This fight is about being up in this things
face and not lettin it get too far away from you. It
has a lot of HP, so this will be a long battle. When-
ever it tries to swallow a kid, use the Inside Combo
reaction command to stun it. While this boss's frontal
attacks are difficult to dode and counter, it's
projectile attacks are easy to guard or avoid. If it
flies really high up into the air, run up the hill,
jump, and lay a combo on it.
A great way to deal a lot of damage is to use Jack's
Limit, then Valor, then Jack's Limit again. You should
have a bunch of Potions, so reserve magic power for
Jack's Limit.
Toward the end of the battle, the Prison Keeper will
swallow all three children, and use all of it's
attack's up to this point. You'll probably end up
getting to use a drive form twice in this battle.
NOTE: At this point in the game, especially if it
hasn't happened already, you have a good chance of
driving into Antiform in this battle. This is actually
a good thing, as it's super fast aerial attacks will
gradually whither away Prison Keeper's health, while
leavin it unable to attack.

After the fight, head back to Santa's House. Save, and head into the Toy
Factory.

This is a very indirect boss battle, just like Oooie's
first one. You are on one of three conveyor belts,
which are moving in the opposite direction you are,
and have spkies at the end. Oogie is up in a glass box
above one of the conveyor belts. If it is not on your
side, use the boxes at the front when they are blue to
switch sides.
When a box comes onto the belt, use triangle to knock
it up and hit Oogie. After doing this about ten times,
Oogie will fall out of the box and be dazed for a
short amount of time. Pound away at him with every-
thing you have, Limits, Drives, w/e. After a few
combos, he will go back up into the glass box.
Aside from boxes, Oogie will also send exploding dice
and a fist to hurt you. Jump away from the dice and
jump past the fist when you can. He will also send
purple boxes, which contain Heartless. Don't get side-
tracked into fighting them, because you will end up
at the end of the belt and will get hurt by the
spikes. Your partners will handle them just fine.
Toward the end of the battle, Oogie will switch belts
a lot and send this wierd lightning attack down upon
you. These are difficult to avoid once hit by, and
they will destroy the boxes you need to get Oogie
down.
He has two health bars, so you will need to knock him
down about four or five times to win this battle.

After all the scenes, you recieve the Magnet Element. Head over to the
Atlantica section and put that spell to use.

In the Pride Lands, you are, yep, you guessed it, a lion. That means NO
driving, so get confortable with Limits. Sora moves fast as a lion, and
attacks from front to back.
Open the three chests for a Mythril Stone, an Ether, and the Savannah Map.
Save your game and head out into the Elephant Graveyard. You have to fight
two Living Bones here, which are pretty tough Heartless. If the Rodeo reaction
command pops up, USE IT! At the end of it use the Grand Cross reaction command
to inflict major damage. After the scene, you have some chest hunting to do.
Directly in front of you is a Hi-Potion. Turn right twice to reach a chest with
an AP Boost. Turn around and go forward for a Mythril Shard, and then hop up
the ledge for a Mythril Stone. There is an Ether by the exit.
Run North across the Savannah, while fighting Heartless, to reach Pride Rock.
Watch the scenes. Do a 180 and run forward for a chest with the Pride Rock Map.
From here, turn around and directly under Pride Rock is a chest with a Mythril
Stone. Turn left from here and run forward to reach a Mega-Ether. The place
by the exit contains a save point, so go there and save now. Head out of Stone
Hollow and Pride Rock and watch the scene.
Back on the Savannah, head to the left-most (right on the map) exit to reach
Wildebeest Valley. After the scenes, and learning the Dash Ability, there are
many chests for you to open. Run forward for a chest with a Hi-Potion. From
here, run right and forward a little to reach a chest with a Mythril Stone.
From here, run in between the rock formations to your left to reach an AP
Boost. Run out a little and turn right for a Mythril Gem, and finally, there
is a chest with a Tent to the left of the exit.
Watch the scene. In the Wastelands, just dash away. Ignore or fight the Heart-
less, it's your descision. Along the way you'll find a Mythril Shard, Hi-
Potion, and a Mythril Stone. Once in the Jungle, open the three chests contain-
ing a Hi-Potion, Serenity Stone, and Mythril Stone while fighting Heartless.
When you're done, head into the Oasis.
After the scene, open the chest in the area for the Oasis Map, Torn Pages, and
an AP Boost. Drop off and stock up at the moogle shop, then head back to the
Jungle. Watch the scene and then go cheer up Simba. He joins your party, as you
recieve the uber awesome Circle of Life keyblade. Simba's Limit is your best
friend in this world, so get used to it. Save, and then head all the way back
to the Savannah. You lose Simba for he moment, but it is no mater. Save at
Stone Hollow and then head into the King's Den.

The hyenas will try to hurt Pumbaa, so don't let that
happen. At the start of the battle, Lock-On to one of
them and just attack. Use Potions when necessary. If
the hyenas are all attacking Pumbaa, call him over to
you with the reaction command. Pick off the hyenas one
at a time, and you'll do fine.
--------------------------------------------------------
After the battle, go back to Stone Hollow and save. Head back to the King's
Den. Make sure you have plenty of Potions, take a deep breath, and head up
to the Peak. After the scene, put Simba in your party, and make sure you
have Auto Limit on. Put Potions on everybody in your party.

Scar has become a Heartless, and a wicked fast one at
that! Simba, because of his Limit, is a great ally in
this battle. USE SIMBA'S LIMIT WHENEVER HUMANLY POSS-
IBLE. It is the key to doing major damage to Scar.
Whenever Scar starts to glow and get mean, Dash around
the arena to avoid him. If fire emerges from him,
just get as far away as possible and wait for him to
simmer down a little. If you ever get pinned, use
the Counter reaction command to push Scar off of you.
The trick here is pressure and patience when needed
if Scar is just normal, apply pressure with normal
attack and Simba's Limit. If he is going crazy, step
back or Dash around. It is pointless to try and hit
him when he is in one of these phases.

For completing the Pride Lands, you get the Fire Element. This upgrades your
Fire spell to Fira. The Cerberus Cup opens up in the Olympus Coliseum, so you
can go do that whenever you want. Before going to TT, head back to Hollow
Bastion to put that new Torn Page in Pooh's Book.

After completing Beast's Castle, you get sent back to Hollow Bastion. Watch the
scenes, and then save your game. Enter the book to visit Winnie The Pooh. Once
in the book, go to the only place available, Pooh Bear's House. Hold in your
excitment for a few moments to open the three chests in the area containing an
AP Boost, Mythril Shard, and 100 Acre Wood Map. Talk to that lovable bear
fluffed with stuff. After the scenes, defeat all of the Heartless. Once back in
the book, go talk to Pooh again, only something isn't quite right. He has lost
all his memory AND you need to collect all the Torn Pages, AGAIN. You will find
these in chests that occupy the various worlds.
Once back outside, Merlin talks to you, and you recieve the Baseball Charm.
This allows you to summon Chicken Little, WHOOOOOPPEEEEE!!!! Anywho, after
returning to the World Map, head into the Phantom Storm Gummi Ship Mission
and then to Olympus Coliseum where you will need to GET UP ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!

After beating Disney Castle, head back to Merlin's
House and re-attach the pages that you found. Once in
the book, go to the new area, Piglet's house. After
the scene, but before rescuing Piglet, open the three
chests in the area for a Mythril Gem, AP Boost, and
Defense Boost. Walk up to Piglet and use the Rescue
command.
This Mini-Game, A Blustery Rescue, has you and Pooh
floating around on a balloon while nuts, trees, and
hunny pots fly at you. You have to hit these things
to get balls that give you points. Nuts take one hit,
hunny pots take three, and trees take many. The score
values are like this:
Nuts - 10 Points
Trees - 400 Points
Hunny Pots - 800 Points
There are also tornados that help you. If you get in
them, use the reaction command to destroy anything
floating around it. If you ever get hit by anything,
go to Pooh immediatly and press Triangle. Make sure
to get the tornado at the very end, as it only appe
