Entry Requirements: To enter, complete the online entry form located at http://www.gamerhelp.com/users/faq_submit.cfm. This is an Internet-only Sweepstakes. All entries must be submitted online and by midnight GMT on the last day of the calendar month for which the monthly contest ends. Limit 5 Sweepstakes entries per registered user. Use of any automated or programmed entry method or any false e-mail account will void all entries made by that entrant. By participating, entrant (and entrant’s parent/legal guardian, if entrant is a minor) agrees to these Official Rules and Regulations. Entry Conditions: By entering, entrant agrees (and by permitting a child 13 years or older to enter, that child's parent/legal guardian agrees on behalf of themselves and the minor entrant): (a) To abide by these Sweepstakes rules (exact compliance is essential); (b) To accept as final and binding the decisions of the Sponsors and their agents in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes; (c) To the collection of all information on each entry, and to its transfer to third parties in aggregate form; (d) That acceptance of prize offered constitutes consent to use entrant's/Winner's name, hometown, State, prize won, and likeness (except where prohibited by law) without further compensation for advertising or publicity purposes. If you are under the age of 18, you and your parent or legal guardian warrant and represent that you and your parent or legal guardian have both reviewed and expressly agree with these Sweepstakes rules.
Selection: Eligible entries for the Monthly FAQ Random Drawing program will be those which meet all of the following criteria: (a) The FAQ submitted for the Sweepstakes must consist of 100% original content. No content may copied directly from other sources, and if an outside source is used as a reference material, it must be clearly credited. GamerHelp.com has the right to declare any entry null and void if there is any valid suspicion of plagiarism or copyright infringement in the file; (b) The FAQ must be complete, which will be defined as a FAQ that provides a full walkthrough for the game, from beginning to end. Eligible entries will be entered into the prize drawing, which will be held within 3 days following the last day of the preceding month at IDG Entertainment’s offices at 555 12th Street, Suite 1100, Oakland, CA 94607. Prize winners will be selected via a random electronic drawing from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of valid entries received. Winners will be notified via e-mail within 5 days following the last day of the preceding month using the email address they provided during the GamerHelp.com registration process. All prizes must be claimed within 10 days. To claim their prize a Winner must respond to IDGE’s prize notification e-mail and complete the Affidavit and General Release included with such email. All unclaimed prizes will be awarded to alternative winners randomly drawn from the original pool of eligible entries for the Sweepstakes. Prizes will be shipped to Winners at IDGE’s expense, though IDGE is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments or any prizes returned as undeliverable.
Prize(s): The following prize(s) (with corresponding estimated retail values) will be awarded on a monthly basis: One Grand Prize Sweepstakes Winner will receive the following: one Best Buy gift card ($100). Total ERV of prize(s) is $100.00. Prizes won by those under the age of 18 will be awarded to the Winner’s parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign an Affidavit and General Release form on behalf of the minor Winner. Prizes may not be substituted except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is subject to all U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents age 13 or older of the United States, except for Puerto Rico who have an active e-mail account and Internet access. Entrants between the ages of 13 and 18 must have the permission of their parent or legal guardian to participate in the Sweepstakes. Employees of IDG Entertainment, Inc. or any affiliate thereof and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
General: All entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and Regulations. Except where prohibited by law, by signing the Affidavit and General Release a Winner consents to the use of his or her name and likeness (if the Winner agrees to submit a photo to IDGE) to promote the Sweepstakes on sites owned and operated by IDG Entertainment, Inc. Neither the Sponsors nor any of their agencies are responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions, or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software program malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or for ISP/network/website accessibility or unavailability. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined by the Sponsors, will be disqualified. If disqualified for any tampering or abuses, Sponsors reserve the right to terminate entrant’s eligibility to participate in Sweepstakes. In the event any portion of this Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsors which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsors, corrupts, or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper submission of entries, Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Internet Sweepstakes, and randomly select a Winner from Internet entries received prior to the action taken. Winner (and Winner’s parent/legal guardian, if Winner is a minor) by acceptance of prize (a) agrees that Sponsors and their affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by Winner against, any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes related activity, and (b) except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsors and those acting under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation. Taxes solely the responsibility of Winner. All decisions of Sponsors on all matters relating to this promotion are final. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, IDGE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
