Sonic 2 and Knuckles Level Select, Debug Mode, and All Chaos EmeraldsLevel Select Menu: At the main menu press Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. You should hear a ring chime. Press and hold X and then press Start to access the Level Select menu.
Debug Mode: At the Level Select menu go to the Sound Test option and play the following tracks in this order: 01 09 09 04 01 00 01 08. At the last tune/sound effect you should hear a ring chime which enables Debug mode. Press and hold X when selecting a level to change in and out of objects from the level by pressing A, change objects by pressing B, and make a copy of the current object by pressing X. You can also reset the game by pausing and pressing X.
All Chaos Emeralds: Also at the Level Select menu play the following tracks in this order: 01 06 07 07 07 02 01 06. You should hear the emerald chime which means you now have all the Chaos Emeralds. Alternatively, you could just select the special stage from the Level Select menu and keep playing them until you get them all.
