Unlock Yoshimitsu
Complete chapter 2 in weapon master mode. The last area in chapter 2 (eastern-most mission) is a dungeon area. Defeat Yoshimitsu there to unlock him.
Play as Charade
Complete chapter 2 in weapon master mode. The first mission in chapter 3 (western-most mission). Defeat Charade to unlock her.
Play as Cervantes
Complete chapter 3 in weapon master mode. The last area in chapter 3 (the eastern-most mission). Defeat Cervantes to unlock him.
Play as Sophitia
Complete chapter 4 in weapon master mode. The final area (eastern-most) will be a dungeon. Defeat Sophitia to unlock her.
Play as Seung Mina
Complete chapter 6 in weapon master mode. Near the middle of the chapter, there will be a palace icon. Defeat Seung Mina to unlock her.
Extra Practice Mode
Complete the first stage of the first chapter in Weapon Master mode.
Weapon Master Mode
Completing every stage of every chapter on both difficulty settings will (somwhere along the way) give you access to Extra Chapters 1 and 2, and Subchapters 1, 3 and 4. To obtain Subchapter 2, complete Stage 3 of Chapter 4 on both difficulty settings, and then once more on the easier setting. Subchapter 2 will then become available above Chapter 4 on the map.
Access to All Weapons
Every obtainable weapon must be got through weapon master mode. Some of the weapons are obtained after completing stages in various chapters, and the rest have to be bought. Access to all 10 chapters, all 4 subchapters, and both extra chapters must be available in order to purchase the weapons at each location.
Access to Extra Modes
Some of the Extra Modes are obtained by progressing in Weapon Master mode. All that aren't, are listed below:
Extra Arcade Mode
Complete Arcade mode.
Extra VS Mode
Complete Extra Arcade mode.
Extra Team Battle
complete Team Battle.
Extra VS Team Battle
Complete Extra Team Battle.
Opening (Arcade version)
Play Extra Time Attack on the Extreme setting 4 times.
Opening (Home version)
Play Extra Survival on the No Recovery setting 4 times.
