1. Siege Ogre

The Aklorian Siege Ogre is the first boss you face in the game.
Remember to use all your Advancement Points before the battle
starts and equip Mojo. Its higher damage will help you end the
battle faster than recruit?s sword.

Taking the Siege Ogre head-on is suicidal, for the brute can
deal a lot of damage and block your attacks as long as it has
its shield. Initially theSiege Ogre will block often so try
getting behind it and launch your best combos until a movie
showing the Ogre?s shield breaking plays.

After the shield is broken, the hit-and-run tactics work best.
Move and hit, and then move again. Try getting behind the Ogre
to get a full combo in before he turns. When the Siege Ogre
starts to swing his club,it is deceptively fast and does hefty
damage with each hit. Rolling out of the way (using right
shoulder button and left stick) works well.

Siege Ogre?s flatulence attack can poison you. The noxious green
cloud lingers for a long time, so run away until it dissipates.
Emerald Panacea can make you immuneto the Poison attack.

2. Ghara the Queen Glue Spider
You cannot damage Ghara unless she is vulnerable ? you will
simply hurt Buki and poison her. The trick is to dodge Ghara?s
attacks and make her crash into one of the buttresses of her
chamber.

Stand in front of one of the buttresses. Once Ghara
rears up, move sideways to avoid her charge. If you time it
right, Ghara will crash into the stone wall and stun herself.
Now hit her from behind with your best combos. If you have the
SP to spare, using skill strikes such as Clawed Frenzy can
greatly help you to take down Ghara?s HP in a hurry. In
addition, make yourself immune to Slow by using a Panacea.

3. Farex Lore

Farex Lore is one tough customer. Not only is the Undead fox
fast and has lots of deadly attacks, he also summons hordes of
the Spirits of Yore to fight for him. To take advantage of
fighting with your entire party, use their Skill Strikes in
conjunction with each other. Using Elco?s Nano-Enchantment is
a good idea to double the damage you cause, and Tal?s Iron
warrior is useful here too. Using Ailish?s Witches Kiss is a
good strategy as well, since it heals all your characters at
once.

Concentrate all your attacks on Farex. Remember that no
matter how many Spirits of Yore you kill, Farex will simply
replace them. Blocking in this combat is not useful since Farex
has several attacks that ignore blocking and Spirits of Yore.

4. Krenn CPU

The key to victory against Krenn is to destroy the repair arms
that appear when Krenn curls up into a ball. You?ll need to
aim at the manually, while constantly moving to avoid the
explosions of the Suicide Droids. Focus on destroying the repair
arms as quickly as possible to shut down Krenn?s ability to
regenerate itself.

Krenn has one vulnerable spot, his eye. It is best to use a powerful
weapon such as Ion Fluxinator. Skill Strikes are not effective
against Krenn while Nano-enchantment is. The extra damage will make
this fight a lot easier.

One tactic is to keep close to Krenn and move sideways at all times
to avoid Krenn?s lethal eye beam. When Krenn swings one of its huge
legs you either need to be far away or dodge sideways.

5. Ultimate weapons

Each player character in Sudeki can acquire their ultimate weapon
by bringing four Totems to their respective shrines. These must be
acquired by solving a particular puzzle, or collecting a number of
objects for a collector.

Placing the Totems in the correct shrine will unlock the most
powerful weapons in the game:

*	Tal?s  - Runic Blade
*	Ailish?s ? Nightshadow
*	Elco?s ? Plasma Launcher
*	Buki?s ? Staeysekin

6. Tal? Totems

10. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ? Path to Glory

11. Tal
Tal?s strength is in his ability to both take and deal regular
melee damage.

Tal?s strongest areas of development are Hit Points and Power.
The best place to focus AP purchasing for Tal is in Power ? each
point increases the damage he deals with each strike.

To make Tal?s skills effective, you need to boost his essence.
Early in the game, a wide selection of Tal?s skills are effective,
but as the game progresses you will need to focus on Tal?s
essence and SP to make any serious dent in the monsters you are
fighting. Using Blade Dance on a crowd of monsters is extremely
satisfying, and a well placed geyser charge can make short work
of an enemy at range.

The one skill Tal really needs is Iron Warrior. This is effective
even without any points spent in essence, and doubles the hit
points of the entire party. For a total of four AP ? or Tal at
level 5 ? you can have Tal with effectively 4000 hit points,
which is enough to go toe to toe with some of the biggest monsters
in the game.

If you take Tal down the skills route, use orbs to increase both
his SP and his essence. If you want Tal to be a more standard fighter
he does not benefit particularly from any of the orbs, so save your
orbs for the other PCs.

12. Elco
Elco?s key strengths are in the amount of SP he has and his power
over status effects.

Elco?s strongest area of development is his SP, while his weakest
are both power and essence. Power is a little more important for
Elco than essence is, but you?ll want to use orbs to increase both of these.

You are best off using AP to raise Elco?s HP so he can survive the
tougher fights, and spending AP on skills. All of Elco?s skills that
you want are Nano-Enhancement, Tesla-Shield and Trick Shot.

Elco is most effective if you apply Heart Seeker runes to his ion
fluxinator. While slow-firing, a combination of good power and good
runes can have Elco dealing thousands of points of damage to multiple
enemies each time he fires. Elco is very much the group?s
traditional blasting wizard ? he can deal huge damage, but if
anything gets close to him, he can go down very quickly..

Elco?s two most valuable skills are Nano-Enhancement and Tesla Shield.
Nano-Enhancement doubles the damage output of the entire party and
Tesla Shield can be used to remove the effect of negative statuses.

If you prefer to let the AI control Elco, his best weapon is the
Debilitator. Each shot he does inflicts Weakness on the enemy, reducing
the amount of damage they can deal.

When faced with a single tough monster or boss, using Elco?s Trick
Shot skill can often be a quick way to victory. When faced with a
spread of enemies, using cybernetica can quickly cut down their numbers.

13. Ailish
Ailish?s strength is in her skill attacks. No other character can
deal massive damage using skills like Ailish can, so this should be
her primary use. She is also the only character who can revive concussed
allies without using items to do so.

Essence and SP are the two stats you want to raise. She will need a few
points spent on HP to allow her to survive fights, or an orb or two on
HP will do the same. Also use SP orbs on Ailish to help her cast more.
Essence orbs are wasted on Ailish ? she receives a huge gain with each AP.

Both Witches Kiss and Shadow Nexus are effective spells for healing.
Witches Kiss is the staple healing ability in the game. Shadow Nexus is
best used when things are going badly and an ally is down.

The rest of Ailish?s skills are about dealing damage. Permaforce and
Celestial Circle are the most similar: if you are dealing with weak monsters,
Celestial Circle is often enough. Against large numbers of very tough monsters,
Permaforce?s freeze effect can help control those that survive the blast.

If you prefer to let the AI control Ailish, using the Chilltip with a Spirit
Bite rune is very effective. Not only does Ailish slow enemies, but she
recovers SP as well. Once her SP is fully charged, switch to Ailish and unleash
a devastating skill, then switch back to your favourite character and let Ailish recharge.

14. Buki
Buki is the most all-round character of the group. All four stats are worth
developing together to get the most out of Buki, allowing her to fill
practically any role in the group.

Buki?s two most useful skills are Dragonfire and Path of the Warrior.
When there are a lot of enemies to fight, Dragonfire is great for thinning
their numbers. When facing spell-casters or regenerating enemies, Path of
the Warrior can be used to close quickly and deal damage before they can make
 use of their special abilities.

If you prefer to let the AI control Buki, she is most effective using either
Mephiticus or Pathosis. Both of these weapons cause poison damage and can be
enhanced with two runes each. Suggested runes are Razor Edge or Bat Fang -
giving Buki the ability to remain fighting without the need for healing.

15. RULE OF THE RUNES

All four characters can benefit greatly from the use of runes. Before buying
runes for a character?s weapon, think about what you want the character to
do. There are many more useful runes than there are spaces on any single weapon,
so you have a choice: spread the runes out and change weapons according to the
situation, or make each group member specialise in a particular area.

Mana-spark runes are extremely useful to put on a weapon, as they can prevent
enemy spellcasters from using status effects.

Armour runes are equally important. Talk to townsfolk near any dungeon to find
out what attacks monsters will use, then buy armour runes accordingly.

Status-causing armour runes can also make a huge difference. Entering a combat
with free status effects means you can get straight to the carving without
having to plan out skill attacks and use SP first.

Weapon Runes
Picking the right combination of weapon runes can mean the difference between
victory and defeat.

Basic Weapons
Early in the game, you want to focus your rune purchases on weapons.
Both Razor Edge and Heart Seeker runes make a difference to any weapon.

Bat Fang and Spirit Bite runes are more expensive, and are more suited
to particular members of your group.

Anyone that takes a lot of damage ? particularly Tal ? will benefit from
the Bat Fang. Bat fang works best on a weapon that does high damage, so
mixing Bat Fang and Razor Edge runes on a single blade can make it very
effective.

Anyone that uses a lot of SP ? particularly Ailish ? will benefit from
the Spirit Bite rune. By hanging back and using Spirit Bite, Ailish can
recover SP to use skill attacks. If you have a Spirit Bite rune, make
sure you use skill attacks! If you have full SP, your Spirit Bite is not
doing anything.

Manaspark is not a good choice of rune early on, as very few monsters
use status effects on themselves. The best idea is to put a manaspark on
a back-up weapon.. If you do run into a status-using monster, use your
manaspark weapon to soften the target before switching to your favourite
damage-dealing weapon.

Status Weapons
Some weapons have runes that cannot be removed. These cause status effects
when an enemy is struck, such as poison or slow.

Using these weapons is very effective, but they often have low damage and
critical values to counteract the status. Putting Razor Edge or Heart
Seeker runes on these can improve the weapon considerably.

Armor Runes
If you find yourself constantly hampered by the same status effect, consider
getting a rune to stop it. The Anti-Evil rune is the best value for money ? while
it is more expensive, it protects against both weaken and curse. Talk to
townsfolk outside dungeons to find out what monsters may use against you.

Combining a positive status rune with immunity to the corresponding negative
status is very powerful. One of the most dangerous combinations of armour runes
are Anti-Evil, Boost and Fortify. Not only is your character both Boosted and
Protected, the enemy cannot dispel these away from you.
