2) All the character changes are listed only take effect
when the Dead or Alive patch #2 (Character Balancing)
is downloaded and updated in your XBOX360 console.
None of the following in this text matters if you don't
have the Character Balance patch installed.

1) Ayane:
As ordered by her clan, Ayane joins forces with her half-
brother, Hayate and Ryu Hayabusa to destroy DOATEC
for all the suffering the company has caused the ninja
clans. She is successful in this mission by casting a
powerful Ninpo spell in the middle of the DOATEC
complex with Hayate defending her, destroying the
foundations of the buildings before the ninjas make
their escape.

Bass is watching Tina on TV after she has just won
another wrestling tournament. He is pleased as she
announces she will partake in the fourth Dead or
Alive tournament, but he flies into a fury when Tina
mentions that after winning the tournament she wants
to become a rock star. Bass joins the Dead or Alive
tournament to prevent Tina from winningand also
to earn some cash to be able to race in the Hyper
Battle Grand Prix, a motorbike race.

3) Bayman:
Once again, Bayman has entered the DOA tournament
seeking revenge on Donovan. During the tournament,
he is confronted by Helena who offers to help him in
his quest for revenge. Bayman rejects the offer. At the
end of the tournament, Bayman is held in captivity within
the DOATEC Tritower and is being interrogated. However,
during the chaos that erupts due to Ayane and Hayate's
intervention he frees himself while his interrogators flee
and are killed.

assassin who killed Helena's Mother.

that caused her foe to double over).
-The last (K) of DB (K) (K); Does a critical hit that turns her
foe 360 degrees (previously it was a knockdown attack).

-(P) + (K); Always launches. Does 25 damage and launches
(or does a knockdown if her foe is not juggled) instead of 20
damage and a lifting critical hit.

Eliot decided for himself that he will not continue Gen-Fu's
legacy if he doesn't win the DOA tournament.

longer enters the Dead or Alive tournament, though he is
shown as being the master of Elliot. Gen-Fu is seen in his
apprentice's CG movie, sparring with him.

-QCF (F) + (P); Launches much higher. This does not give
you any better juggles against lightweights or mediums
(because you could already hit them with B (P) + (K) at
the highest point), but it gives you better juggles against
heavys.
-QCB (F) + (P); Sound effect is slightly changed.
-QCB (P); On a full charge is a guard crush now. That
meansthat you are granted one hit in to keep your opponent
stunned or launch and your opponent can't block it, but it
can still be counter. This is HUGE! because it'll force your
opponent to counter.
-B (P) + (K); Is a guard break. Only fully charged though.

8) Hayabusa "Ryu":
Ryu joins Hayate and Ayane in their mission to bring
down DOATEC. While passing through the various labs
in DOATEC's Tritower building, he spots Kasumi facing
off against a clone of hers apparently made of pure energy,
yet decides she must fight it alone. At the end of the
tournament, Ryu dispatches several DOATEC aircraft
(one of them possibly carrying Donovan) before
disappearing into the night.

9) Hayate/Ein:
With Genra out of the way, Hayate now goes on a quest for
revenge against DOATEC for what they did to him. He joins
forces with Ayane and Ryu Hayabusa (and presumably other
Mugen Tenshin ninjas, but they are not seen at any point in
the game) to take down the corrupt organization, as well as
their new creation, Alpha-152 (a clone of Kasumi). During the
fighting in DOATEC's Tritower complex Hayate comes across
La Mariposa. There's more to this female wrestler than it seems
as she appears to have some info on Project Epsilon and may
have been responsible for Hayate's memory loss. Meanwhile,
Hitomi is looking for Hayate (or rather Ein) to help her rebuild
her father's dojo. Hayate agrees to come with Hitomi if she can
best him in combat. At the end of DOA4, Hayate and his ninja
comrades destroy the Tritower complex and escapes the
building as it burns to the ground, while Kasumi battles
Alpha-152. It is unclear, however, if this is the last of
DOATEC after this major blow to their organization.

-U (K): No longer launches, is high attack and no longer
hold resistant. This move was nerfed, plain and simple.
Doesn't give any juggles, and knocks into ceilings with
really only a QCF (P) follow off ceiling.
-QCB (P) (P) (F); No longer launches on normal hit.
-QCB (P) (P) (P); The full string does launch on CH.
-F, F (P) U (K); Same as U (K).
-(P) (P) (P); Last (P) no longer stuns.
-(F) + (K) (K); On CH has a much lower bounce stun now,
used to be able to do the basic (P) (P) (P) UB (K) after it,
not so anymore.
-F (P); On CH/HCH, different hit sound effect (wall crash
effect) sounds painful.
-U (P); No longer launches on normal hit.
-DB (P) o F (K); No longer stuns.

10) Helena:
In DOA4, Helena finally finds out that Christie killed her
mother and she confronts her, but it's unknown if Helena
kills the assassin or not. In her CG Ending, Helena decides
to go down together with DOATEC and subsequently sets
the Tritower complex on self-destruct. Plagued by flashbacks
of her deceased mother she moves up to the helipad between
the three towers that make up the complex. Meanwhile, Ayane,
Hayate, and Ryu Hayabusa are using ninpo powers to destroy
the towers and the DOATEC security forces, while Kasumi
battles her clone. Helena is about to be consumed by the
flames of the burning buildings as Zack saves her, flying
in with a chopper.

11) Hitomi:
A sudden illness has befallen Hitomi's father, the owner of a
successful Karate dojo and prominent member of the German
martial arts community. Although he has recovered, the family's
training hall is in financial trouble. Hitomi's days are very busy
as a result, but one of her greatest strengths is not letting the
gravity of the situation faze her. During the fourth Dead or
Alive tournament, she looks for Ein as she remembers him
from when they trained together in Germany. Hitomi hopes
Ein can come up with an idea to save her father's dojo.

13) Kasumi:
Kasumi again seeks to find Hayate, and have him and herself
return to the Mugen-Tenshin village. Kasumi meets her brother
and tries to convince him to stop the war against DOATEC and
return to the village with her. Her brother Hayate remains quiet
and her half-sister Ayane interrupts them. Kasumi and Ayane
fight, with Kasumi walking away victorious. Kasumi then
confronts Helena and inquires why she has revived DOATEC.
Helena says she wants nothing to do with the Ninja fighters
(this includes Ryu, Ayane, and Hayate). Helena also mentions
that a clone of Kasumi codenamed ALPHA-152, is about to
become active. Kasumi fights her way past Helena and then
heads down to the lab to destroy ALPHA-152, who resembles
Kasumi in form and fighting style, but seems to be made up of
pure energy. Kasumi fights her clone to her best efforts, but in
the end it appears ALPHA-152 escapes. Kasumi is last seen
watching Helena entering the blazing helipad. When she tries
to stop Helena she is prevented to do so by Ayane.

making the damage on that string 39 from 43 with the -1
from the F (P) included.
-The last (P) in (P) F (P) (P); Got a damage reduction from
26 to 20. still has revision. damage on string went from 43
to 40.
-(P) + (K) (K); String damage now showing 32 instead of
31. Dont know why, all the properties are the same.
-DF (P) (P); Doesn't stun opponent on the second hit.
-Last (P) in (P) + (K) (P); Now does 20 damage and is a critical
hit; used to do 25 damage and knocked the opponent down.
-F (F) + (K); Now does 32 damage instead of 34 and conversely
the last (K) of F + (K) (K) now does 34 damage instead of 32.
-Last (P) of (P) (P) (P) (P) / DF (P) (P) / U (P) (P); Are no longer
critical hits on normal hits (except to crouching or back-turned
opponents).
-Last (P) of (P) (P) F (P) (P); Does 32 damage instead of 36 and
is a critical hit instead of a knockdown.
-Last (K) of (P) (P) F (P) (K) D (K); Is now a quick knockdown
instead of a critical hit.

14) Kokoro:
Kokoro is a 17 year old geisha-in training. Her mother, Miyako,
was one of Fame Douglas' many mistresses, and after Kokoro's
birth, Miyako and her child moved to the country. Kokoro
began training to be a geisha, but her heart was not in her
training but in martial arts. She asked her mother if she could
participate in the 4th Dead or Alive Tournament. After several
rounds of the tournament, Kokoro meets Helena who,
unbeknownst to Kokoro, is her half-sister. Helena does
seem to recognise her though. Kokoro's CG ending shows
her returning home to pursue her training once again.

she is ultimately more interested in wrestling Tina than in the
affairs of DOATEC. Some references are made that Helena
and Lisa have worked together before. Lisa also seems to
know the details of Project ALPHA-152.

Nicole was born in the year 2531 in the city of New Legaspi
on Mars. At six years of age she was abducted by agents of
the Office of Naval Intelligence and conscripted into the
Spartan II program. The Spartan II program was the UNSC's
highly successful military project to augment and hone
perfect soldiers. SPARTAN-458's unit was preparing for a
classified mission on Nassau Station when the ONI stealth
ship Apocalypso tumbled into real-space ? being carried
alongin the wake of a freak slipspace anomaly. The anomaly
intersected Nassau Station; creating a semi-stable "bubble"
in the space/time continuum on its way back to the 21st
Century. For the time being Nicole-458 is trapped in the 21st
century; guarding Nassau Station's secrets with all but lethal
force (she realizes killing someone in the past could have dire
consequences), waiting for the "bubble" to collapse and
hopefully returning her to the year 2552.

Alas, the infamous Zack Island has sunk to the bottom of
the ocean. Now all that remains is a mountain of debt, one
hundred times the size of the original investment. Even the
normally aloof Zack will have a hard time recovering from
this blow...or so everyone thought. Zack's sights are already
set on his next conquest: the DOATEC Tritower, three
enormous pillars stretching up to the sky. Unfortunately,
the tower catches on fire (as a result of the Mugen-Tenshin
attack) as Zack is climbing it. He manages to escape the
flames, saving Helena's life in the progress.
