Introduction/Contact Info

This strategy guide is for the use of any people who wish to
achieve the awards in Perfect Dark Zero. I ask that people do not
use this strategy guide and take it as their own for I will gladly
give permission if you ask for it first. All strategies are subject
to change and may become out of date as the game expands and is
patched. Please note that all requirements for this guide are still
subject to change as to a firm requirement for each is not known
for sure. If there is one blatantly wrong please contact me with
the proper requirements. Any person contributing to this strategy
guide will be given their own spot in the guide with their
strategy. Please follow the basic format that is being used when
giving information. Please send only serious strategies. My contact
is Soccer862923@earthlink.net, and please make sure to put in the
subject that this is for the strategy guide or I will blow it away
right away. Some awards will not have a personal strategy on them
because I have not yet received the award, and therefore they will
stay without a strategy until someone sends one or I am able to

Weapons
===================================================================

/Thrown Weapons/

Hawk Boomerang
**************

As much as this weapon may seem to be useful, it is extremely a
pain in the butt.The lock on is not very accurate and most of the
time it will almost be worth just using a bullet to the head,because
you will be using this only if the enemy does not see you yet.

Multimine
*********

These are basically a proximity mine, but can also be detonated
by remote.The multimine will be used pretty much only in the
multiplayer portion of the game.

Frag Grenade
************

Your basic explosive grenade with a four second timer, and you can
hold down the trigger longer to make the time before it explodes
on the ground shorter.

Flash Grenade
*************

These will temporarily blind your enemy and will be mostly useful
when do multiplayer.

/Close Combat/

Combat Shield
*************

This is not a weapon but can be dual wielded with a pistol for best
effectiveness.It will not last forever, but it will provide you
enough protection that it is useful to have, but make sure to point
it in the direction of the enemy or the shield will not work.

Def-12 Shotgun
**************

As with every other shotgun, it is most useful at close quarters
and with a group of enemies together.Using it at medium to long
range will be quite pointless and a waste of ammo.The secondary
and tertiary options will be for multiplayer and you will be able
to use it to fool and find your enemies.

Viblade
*******

This is the melee weapon for Perfect Dark Zero.For the most part
you will not get close enough to enough enemies in the singleplayer
to use it very much.The primary purpose of the weapon is actually
the secondary function which is the Deflection Shield.You will be
able to deflect the bullets of enemies right back at him and will
be very useful in multiplayer.

/Pistols/

P9P
***

This is the first weapon that you will end up using in the game.
You can use this for a while before it will be not worth it
anymore.The usefulness of it will be at close to medium range,but
the clip size will limit the usefulness with many enemies.This
weapon can be equipped with a silencer for quick and silent kills.

Falcon
******

This pistol is not very powerful, but you will be able to fire a
lot of ammo before you need to reload, as opposed to any other
pistol.The secondary function will release a clip and it will
explode and fire bullets in every direction.It is not very useful
but it is very fun to do.

DY357 Magnum
************

This is the most powerful pistol that you can get in Perfect Dark
0.This will deal a lot of damage, but will be inaccurate at medium
length, and has a very small clip of six bullets.The secondary
function fires a delayed silenced shot.It is pretty useless in all
situations and I would recommend not wasting a good bullet on this.

Magsec 4
********

This pistol is much like that of the P9P with clip size and power
but it's secondary capability can be very useful.The secondary
fire allows you to fire a shot that will ricochet off of walls.

Psychosis Gun
*************

This weapon is really more of a fun weapon than really useful.The
best part of this gun is the psychosis function that makes an
enemy go after his friends instead of you.Not very useful in
multiplayer.

/SMG/

RCP-90
******

This weapon is going to be used more than any other SMG.It will
feel more powerful than other SMGs because of its extremely fast
fire and large clip.The secondary function can be useful in
finding a hiding enemy, but the tertiary mode will be the most
useful function.The tertiary will allow you to make any electronic
item work for you against the enemy, which can making turrets very
deadly for the enemy.

UGL Liberator
*************

This is the weapon that you will find in the early part of the
game.It is not very accurate and not powerful except when in dual
wielded configuration.The secondary mode is perfect for when you
are out of ammo and need to lure an enemy near you, the UGL will
explode and take your enemy out.

DW-95
*****

This will be found early on in the game and is very much like the
P9P.It can use a silencer and will be useful when you don't have
a sniper and you want to take someone out at a fairly long
distance.

CMP 150
*******

This weapon is not very powerful, but it can go through the ammo
very fast and you will find yourself out of ammo quickly.The
secondary fire will create a hologram that maybe an enemy will go
after, but don't count on it.

/Assault Rifles/

Laptop
******

This weapon is not that powerful when being used as a rifle, but
the turret function can be useful.Don't expect to have it take a
lot of enemies out, but can be useful when needing to hide or
placed properly.

KSI-74
******

If this looks like an AK-47 to you, well you are right, because
it does look and act like an AL-47.The bayonet is really not that
useful and you need to fire the weapon at short bursts in order
to not be so inaccurate that it is useless.

Superdragon
***********

This is by far the best assault rifle in the game.The only down
side is that the clip is fairly short.This weapon can tear through
the enemy very fast, as a nice long scope, and has the capability
to fire bouncy grenades.

FAC-16
******

This is much like the superdragon, just not as good.It fires
semi-automatic while zoomed and the time between the firing of
grenades is longer.

/Sniper Rifles/

Jackal
******

This is the primary and best of the two sniper rifles.If you shoot
an enemy it is more than likely that you will take down the enemy.
The only downside is that there is a long reload time, but it is
a sniper rifle so what do you expect.

Shockwave
*********

Not as powerful as the Jackal, but it still gets the job done.The
X-ray mode will be best used in multiplayer when you can relay the
position of the enemy or get ready to blow away the enemy that is
coming through the door that you are guarding.

/Heavy Weapons/

M60
***

It is big, fast firing, and can be very powerful.You need to make
sure that you fire in small bursts, because at full auto you will
not be able to hit the broadside of a barn.The secondary function
will slow down the enemy for a few seconds, but still not very
useful.

Plasma Rifle
************

It is very powerful weapon that has splash damage like a rocket
launcher.You have unlimited ammo with it because it is powered by
a battery that recharges when not in use.The cloaking function
will be used with multiplayer mode.

Rocket Launcher
***************

It is your basic rocket launcher.Fire makes big explosion.The
secondary function will allow you to control the path of the rocket
but it is very hard to control and is usually not worth it.

Walkthrough
===================================================================

/Mission 0/

1. Evade dataDyne Security

This is your basic tutorial mission with a little bit more involved
in it more than the usual tutorial.You will just have to run around
getting used to the controls, shooting, and making basic moves and
then you come to laser trip wires.These suckers can't really be
passed without setting the alarm off so go really quickly or you can
be gunned down by the turrets that follow.

You will then turn the corner and come to a wall and press A.Take
aim at the security camera and press fire and you will dart out
and take care of the camera.

You will then make your way towards the railing near the camera and
you will come across two guards with which you can take out the
guards.These two guards will drop two P9Ps, with which you can dual
wield.

The hacking minigame is pretty self explanatory.You basically want
the clear block to come over the blue area and press A.Repeat and
you will get through the puzzle.

2. Destroy CPU

You will now have to use your Camspy in order to take out the cpu.
You will need to navigate a series of vents and use the camspy's
EMP blast to take out the CPU.You will need to take out two circuits
on the way but they are fairly easy to notice and then you can take
out the CPU.

3. Escape Trinity Platform

You will make your way to a room where a researcher will need some
saving from some spider bots.They can be easily taken out with fists
or with some pistol.

4. Escort Scientists to Elevator

After saving the scientist you will be able to move on and come
across some scientists that are armed and will help you, but not
much.If you make your way to a cylindrical shaft and descend you will
be able to upgrade by picking up a FAC-16.The guard being attacked by
spider bots will also drop a Magsec 4.

Ignore the guards and spiderbots in the hangar and just keep going to
where the elevator is.

Once you reach the elevator the scientits will begin to repair it and
you should not pick up a laptop rifle.Make sure to deploy a laptop
rifle to fire at the ensuing spider bots to help.Once the elevator
gets there you will want to take it up to where dataDyne security
staff is already waiting for you.Duck behind cover and use a rifle to
snipe out the enemy.Once you eliminate all the men in the area head
to the other platform and make your way up.Some men will pursue you
but ignore them and make for the rocket to end the mission.

/Mission 1/

1. Identify Enforcers

In this part you will have to find and "paint" three men who will
have a green outline.When you begin you should walk forward and use
your silenced pistol to cap the guy sitting on the crates in the
head.Head to the left and make your way up the main stairwell and
you will come close to the first enforcer.Use the audioscope to
lock on to him and identify him.Move and make your way around to
the right of the night club.

Once you make it to the alley you are going to want to keep towards
the left wall and try to keep crouched and you will not disturb the
guards in the alley.When you get to the end shoot off the lock with
the silence P9P.

Be careful as there is a guard that's patrol route is a part of
where you are and you will need to dispose of him before you lock
onto the second enforcer.Wait for the second enforcer to leave the
building and then lock on to him

2. Destroy Killian's Powerboat

This is for Perfect agent difficulty.Make sure to kill the enemies
that come after you and drop down and plant the bomb that you have
on the boat.The next part is hard with limited ammo so use explosive
barrels very wisely.

When the second enforcer is dead you will have to head to the rear
door there and use your pick to get through the door.If on Perfect
you will have to get the keys in the building past the crane.

Once you take out the goon in the next area you will want to head
towards the lift and head up.Make sure to have your pistol silenced
to take out the guard at the top quickly to not alert the Enforcer.
You can then easily paint the Enforcer to get the objective done.

To make the next part easier you are going to want to head to the
nightclub's basement and make your way to the other stairs and go
to the room with a guard and cap him.Deactivate the metal detector
and when you go back shoot the fire alarm to get the civilians out
of the club.

Your next objective is to clear out the dance floor which can be
real tought, but make sure to move, take cover and aim well.You
will one to make your way up the stairs where you will want to mow
down some more baddies.There should be a FAL that you can use to
make the job a little easier.Take out the first turret and dodge
the next two two get a good shot on them.Once you get to the door
to the penthouse the level ends up nicely.

/Mission 2/

1. Retrieve Briefcase

Quickly take cover because you will be in the middle of a fire
fight.Make sure to start using the explosiver barrels to take more
than one enemy out at a time.When all the badies are dead you will
need to pick up a key card from one of them.Use it to get out of
the garage.You will find yourself in a warehouse with lots of
cameras.Take out any of the cameras that you think will impede
your movement.At one part of the room you will see a grate that
can be bashed.Make sure to bash it and take the crawl space to
pick up a DW-95 in one of the many crates.

Next you are going to want to make your way to a hangar.The best
and easiest way is to just go in one of the unlocked doors.You
will want to find a door on the left side of the warehouse that
will lead to an armory which you need to destroy, but make sure
to pick up a shotgun before you run like hell to get out.Find
the next open door and make your way to the building at the end
with a safe in it and either demo it or hack it.Take some armor
and the briefcase before moving on.

2. Evac

The best way to do the next part is to take a shot at one of
the baddies without being seen. If you can do that they will
start to take out each other.Make your way through the subway
to the ruined car and exit at the far end.

/Mission 3/

1. Assist Jack

Before you jump down turn around and blow up one of the small
radio transmitters.Make sure as you go through the level that
you pick up a jackal because that will make things much easier
when having to take on more enemies.When you get to the top
of the stairs take the zipcord to a point where you can give
more adequate cover for Jack.Once he gets by take another
zipcord to continue.Head through the large pipe and drop down
and walk across the glass-enclosed walkway to help Jack more.

When Jack gets through again take the zipcord to the far building
and hit the switch allowing Jack to move on.

2. Nullify Killian

Make sure to start using the DW-95 that you have and be accurate
with it because every bullet is going to count.Aim at the engines
to do any real damage to Killian.You need to do this as fast as
possible because there is a time limit, so don't think that you can
take your sweet time.Move on and find the man that has a magnum to
help with your arsenal and keep moving to find Jack and get the hell
out of there.

3. Evac

Just do the same thing as before and let Jack take care of the
enemies that Killian drops off.

/Mission 4/

1. Disrupt Security Communications

The best thing to do when this mission begins is to run straight to
the path that is in front of you.Take care of the guard who should
have his back to you and pick up the radio that he drops.Call the
communications office and answer the question right in order to get
commications shut off.The question is always different so just try
to answer the best way possible.

2. Activate Satellite Server

Go and hack the satellite dish that is on the exterior of the wall.
Make sure to take out the soldiers on your way and make sure to be
careful of the snipers in the towers.

3. Infiltrate Mansion

Head towards the mansion and take out the camera before you hit the
comm switch.When you move in hide your weapons and move to reach the
museum.You will eventually get to an armory where you will be like a
kid in a candy store.Try picking up a Viblade and M60 so you can use
them later.

4. Defeat Mai Hem

You will only be equipped with a Magsec 4 and you will have to be
careful and accurate and aim at her head in order to get it done.
You will then have to take down a statue that comes after you , so
shoot it in the head in order to get the most bang for your buck.
Select the M60 that Chandra offers you so you can start to do some
real damage.You will next have to go up against Mai and several of
her clones, make sure to take out one of her clones so you can pick
up a Superdragon in order to get busy.Take out 3 more statues and
then Mai herself to end the level.

/Mission 5/

1. Shutdown Power Generator

This is not mandatory but it is on your way to the key card you need.
Try to avoid setting of any alarms in the next area and take out as
many of the bad guys as fast as you can.Make your way across the
upper walkway to the only unlocked door that will lead to the area
for the generator.Just start killing the bad guys fast because they
all pack a wallop of weaponry.

Shutdown the power generator and go through the air vent near the
generator.You will want to smash the next grate and pick up the
Silver keycard that is on the table.Grab it and use it on the door
that is at teh top of the steps.There will be men there on the other
side of the door that will try to impede you.Make your way to a red
door and use it to enter the server room.

2. Disable Tracking System

You will want to first grab the golod keycard on the middle desk in
order to move on, but it also helps to disable the tracking system.
In order to take out the tracking system you are going to want to
make your way to a room with a item on the ceilng with four green pts
that need to be taken out.

3. Access Containment Facility

Make your way to the door that you haven't gone through and voila you
are there.

4. Locate and Rescue Jack

Take out all the men in the area as fast as possible as soon as you
can because there is a lot of them in there.You will want to head to
the central structure and blow it with your demo kit.After that is
done make yoru way to the only remaining green door.Take out the
guards and make your way to the turret in the room to make quick work
of guards that will soon come in.

/Mission 6/

1. Escape

This is a real easy one to do.Just hop in the turret that Jack does
not and you should be able to kill the majority of the bad guys you
first come across.Next you will have to protect Jack while he lays
down some explosives to keep moving.Once outside you will be greeted
by a party of bad guys on turrets and on the ground.When the major
onslaught has been subdued take out the turrets.

2. Incapacitate Hovercraft

This is really easy, one of the hangars will open up revealing a few
hovercraft and guards.Kill the guards and shoot shoot the hovercraft
until they begin to spark.

3. Steal Rocket Launcher

In the next area there should be a rocket turret with a man using it.
Make sure to kill them from a distance and get up and grab the rocket
launcher and armor up with the suit of armor nearby.

4. Power Down Radar

The next part will require you to use the Locktopus to unlock the
gate.You will want to hop into the gunner spot, because that will
allow Jack to use the rocket launcher.Once everything is set start to
make your way next to the river.You will need to take down the five
power units and kill any enemy units in the area.Once that is done
just make your way to the end of the tunnel to the airpad and you
will be done with the level.

/Mission 7/

1. Eliminate "The Brothers"

You will want to immediately find the best hardy cover you can get
to and start to take shots at the brothers.The best way to do it is
to just take shots whenever they are in the open and not firing at
you and make sure to fire at them if they are hiding behind wooden
crates.

After taking them out you will want to take the elevator that is near
by.Grab a jackal to make the next part easier.You will want to take
out the two snipers that are in the next area and make sure to grab a
good weapon becuase the jackal will not be very useful from now on.
Take the zipcord to the next area and take the door on the left.Take
and use the Locktopus on the storage locker to get the Psychosis gun.
Hit one of the soldiers around the elevator with the Psychosis gun to
have him attack his friends.

2. Manipulate Personnel

If you veer to the left you will find another elevator that goes up
and a corridor in front of you.Take the elevator up and kill the
soldiers in the nearby area.You will make your way to a computer
terminal with which you can talk and get him to get all of the
scientiests out of the area to make your job easier.You will need to
find Dr. Caroll and lead him to his lab.

3. Escort Dr. Caroll

The best way to do this is to take the remaining path that you have
and escort him past the next Father terminal that you see and take
him to his personal work area.

/Mission 8/

1. Download Zeigler's Program

The data core is really close to where you start and you will need to
use your datathief to hack it.After that is done you will want to
start to head in the only direction that you can do

2. Cut Off Support

This is an easy one just protect the soldier that is laying down a
charge that will cut off any support that may be coming to stop you
on your journey.

3. Flood Hangar

Head to the right and find the elevator and take it to the top.Next
is the exact same thing as cut off support and just give help cover
to the soldier who is fiddling with the panel.Be prepared because
now you will have to travel on top and you will likely come across
an ambush in the next area that you go.Do not attempt to use any of
the Father panels because all they will do is cause you trouble. You
will eventually make your way to the lab area that you were in, in
mission 0.You will have to backtrack until you make your way until
a soldier will complete the Cut Off Pursuit objective.

4. Evac

You will have to battle through two more intense fire fights before
you can finish the level.You will need to take a platform to the
jumpship that is surrounded by pink smoke grenades and dash to it as
fast as you can.

/Mission 9/

1. Defend Dropship

You will have to defend yourself against a very big onslaught of
enemies that will want to kill you for some reason.This is probably
one of the toughest parts of the game, so just keep trying if you
don't get it the first time.

2. Disable Spyderbot Sensors

You will just have to make your way to the sensor and use a demo
charge on it or you can just take some good old fashioned bullets to
it.

3. Breach dataDyne Dig Site

You will want to follow the path that is near the spyderbot sensor
that you already took out.Be careful when making through this next
area because you will more than likely meet a good amount of
resistance.You will eventually come to a turret so make sure you take
him out before he can do any real damage.You will eventually want to
make it to a stone building and climb up the ladder there and grab
the helpful armor.

4. Rescue Dropship Pilot

You will want to follow the river that is nearby in order to make it
to the pilot.You will eventually catch up to the pilot, so make quick
work of the enemies that are near him.You will then follow a path to
the other downed dropship.There will be a Spyderbot sensor in the
area so creep along the left side until you see it and unload a clip
on it.

You will want to clear a path through the minefield for you and the
pilot and you will be greated by some jetpack fools, make sure to
take them out fast because they chuck grenades which will make quick
work of your pilot.

Make sure to grab a jetpack and make your way into the jungle and
start to clear out the area of all of the bad guys.Use the jetpack to
get to the top and make your way into the small passage nearby to end
the level.

/Mission 10/

1. Sabotage Lifting Gear

Head down the steps and make a right and cross the planks that are in
front of you, but make sure to crouch while moving or else you will
fall onto some spikes.Keep making your way to through the passages
and killing all of the enemies in the process.

You will eventually make your way to a room with some dragons that
spew fire.Make sure to grab the suit of armor after the dragons just
to make sure that you have as much as possible.You will eventually
come to a point where there are two bridges and a soldier waiting for
you.Go around left and read some elevator controls and demo them.

2. Plant Tracking Device

Return back to the bridge and head on down, you will eventually come
across two soldiers who can be taken out with some firepower.You will
need to get across the bridge that follows by knocking down some
stone blocks, make your way across the bridge until you hit the
tripwires and then you will want to use your Spycam.You will want to
head to the fee of the large statue by skirting around the stone
wall.

3. Flood Foundations.

Now Mai Hem will send a bunch of bad guys after you.The bad guys will
turn invisible unless you act quickly and take them out.Make sure
to have all weapons not visible so you can move faster.You will want
to make your way to destroy the four stone dragons as quickly as
possible and the bad guys will not be able to cloak.

4. Kill Phantoms

Dodge all of their plasma fire.Try to grab one of the plasma rifles
before you finish all of them off, so you can use the plasma rifle in
the future.

/Mission 11/

1. Rescure Institute Squad

This will be difficult because there are so many bad guys that want
to kill you.If you move right and use cover then you will be able to
take a majority of them before it is all done.Once you take care a
majority of the work you will be able to reach Jonathon and his squad
who will be able to support you throughout the rest of this mission.

2. Neutralize Dropships

These aren't really that hard to take out, you just need to take fire
at their engines.If either of the ships are able to make their way to
drop off some friends then you will have to take some time mopping up
their friends.

3. Ambush Convoy

The majority of killing for this will be done by the other soldiers,
with you just taking out the man that will want to hop in the turret
and kill you and your friends.

4. Disable Air Defenses

You will want to make your way to kill the soldiers on the roof,cause
if you don't they will harass you.There will be a sniper in the tower
a little bit away who needs to die quickly and a firefight will come
quickly that needs to be put down.

You will eventually come to a path that veers left and right.You can
take either, as it really doesn't matter much.You will want to take
out the final major gunfight with grenades but keep some for the
upcoming major battle.

5. Kill Mai Hem

There is no way to destroy the hovercraft bottom line.You will want
to take out the cushion that the hovercraft uses in order to to make
the fight much easier.Use only explosives as because they are the
only ones that will do damage to it.Evenutally she will be a sitting
duck that you can take out fairly easily.

/Mission 12/

1. Escort Jonathon

You will have to take a jetpack down and rescue Jonathan after you
take down the enemy jetpacks.Once you take them down, walk after
Jonathan and he will follow you throughout the rest of the battle.

2. Assist Institute Squad

You will find that the squad is pinned down at some ruins and you
will need to help them.Stay a distance away and kill the enemy
snipers with a scoped weapon.After the snipers have been taken care
of it will be time to deal with the rest.Go to the ruins and take out
the rest of the ground troops.

Take the road to the right and you will head inside the temples in
order to move on.You will eventually make your way until you come to
a set of steps on the left and right, the left is the one that you
want.You will see a scene where a soldier will have a rocket launcher
and you want to take him out fast or most likely Jonathon will die.

After that you will hit the road and take it to the left around a
corner and there will be an entrance to the ruins, but make sure to
go back and pick up the rocket launcher after you have taken care of
any enemies in your path.

3. Destroy Mortar Launchers

You will need to use the rocket launcher in order to take care of the
mortar launchers that are plaguing you at the moment.If you take out
each of the mortars then you will be able to free up a squad that
will help you get across the bridge in one piece.

4. Infiltrate Coliseum

You will want to make it to the right side of the bridge and to the
turret.You will be able to take out most of the troops.After that is
done you will have to make your way to get the rest of the ones under
cover.Go up a little bit and more enemies will come so retreat to the
turret and use it.Repeat that one more time and you will trigger the
last wave.

You will eventually be attacked by Zhang Li's elite guard and they
can deal a lot of damage so retreat back to the turret one last time
to carpet the area with fire because they are all invisible.Finally,
make your way to the Coliseum to finish the mission up.

/Mission 13/

Li will like to jump around a lot.You should be able to get a good
headshot off after he lands and begins to shoot at you.He will
eventually be able to recharge his life so when you see a fancy thing
start to happen shoot him in order to stop him from healing himself.

A good amount of the damage will be dealt by your Viblade.Once he
lands on your pad you will want to back up and wait for the shield to
drop.He will eventually fall and you can start to hack at him with
the Viblade.As long as you hack at him well enough you will be able
to kill him and finsih the game.
